I don't know if Chelsea actually have a plan with the amount of signings they're making. I cant even keep up with the amount of players they've singed since the new management took over. I hope they are not just trying to please the fans with these signing because some of the players are not necessary. They have signed about 14 players and none of them is a natural top 9. Another problem is all these players might need a little time to adjust and understand each other both in and off the field.

I don't see them achieving anything this season. They might win Dortmund in the UCL because Dortmund are not in a really good form too but Chelsea would be lucky to make it to the Semis.
I think they do not really have a "plan" to say, they just think that if they spend enough money then they will win games. And to an extend that makes sense because they are just spending money to buy good players and that means if you have good players then why shouldn't you win games? The logic itself is not bad, because if you have much much better players than before, you should be becoming a better team, that is true.

However, if you suck at management then no matter how great your team becomes, you will be terrible. Plus the fact that you could always overspend on players and get players that are not much better but pay much better player amounts, then you will not get that great.

It's true, some of AC Milan's match results in the regular league are quite disappointing, especially when they just lost to the bottom team. I think that against Spurs later AC milan will again encounter difficulties, even though AC milan hosted the first leg but their record at home has been very bad lately. It's possible that the Spurs could steal aggregate points in the first leg and that's something AC milan should be wary of.
AC Milan have conceded 14 goals from last four matches at all competition, have loss with bigger score in domestic league and I don't think how AC Milan preparing their full team on Champion League will start two weeks later against Tottenham Hotspur.

I really doubt with  AC Milan opportunity for talking more in Champion League after very poor performance in domestic league, not only losing with bottom team standing but also AC Milan have been conceded many goals from last several matches. Up coming two weeks later against Spur, Milan have heavy schedule in derby della madonnina for next match and facing Torino in domestic league one weeks before Champion League match.
AC Milan hasn't proved themselves recently that they will be capable to win Tottenham, due to their unimpressed performance in their last match against Sassulo Tottenham is playing in one of the strongest league in the world, which makes it an advantage for them.

Tottenham is also having little difficulties but I believe that there will be a surprise from both clubs on that day. This match is unpredictable as I can't say one side is better than the other, maybe there will be an improvement in the clubs before the match day.

Napoli are currently destroying every competitor they have. Lastly they did the same to Roma. I can't say that the score was a very comfortable one. But their game was such a positive and effective one that they could have won the game by a bigger goal difference also. This is creating a situation like Napoli will be highly favoured against Frankfurt in their draw in the Champions League. Napoli are actually already just like that according to bookies. But it is just different for the first leg.

I mean Napoli are still favourite for the win in this leg also but the odds are quite close to each other. There is a high expectation of a competitive game in Frankfurt. Frankfurt are also impressive even if they aren't as much as Napoli. Lastly they got one point from Bayern Munich away and they haven't lost a league game for a long time. Maybe they might really be a challenge for Napoli in the first leg.

Ac milan must be ashame with the result in serie a. Even though milan will be facing easy opponent but this is UCL where almost all of clubs have very strong squads. Totenham can be considered as a strong opponent for ac milan. Ac milan was losing against mediocre team in serie a and how can ac milan win against totenham as a strong team in EPL?I doubt that ac milan will even beat totenham in the first leg. Ac milan faces horrible situation right now. I doubt ac milan can come back later.

To be honest, I'm not really interested in following Serie A developments. So I don't have much information regarding Milan's developments. however, when referring to their statistics. currently, Milan is ranked 5th as well as Tottenham who are also ranked 5th in their respective domestic leagues. it seems that these two teams are in the same situation, both are not in such good form. Milan lost their last two matches in Serie A, and even then because several of their players were absent due to injury.

Tottenham are also in the same performance which is not so good, especially after being toppled by Arsenal and City. in fact, they had to drop to rank 5 in the standings. I think this match is a balanced match, considering that Tottenham often have difficulties when playing away matches, when referring to when they played their matches in the Champions League group D phase. Likewise with Millan, but at least Milan must maximize the fight against Spurs in the first leg.

I don't know what happened to them, but in several matches they didn't play as usual and showed that they are a strong team with the status of the defending champion. It's really embarrassing to see the results of their matches, even their defeats are always with a crushing score. They needed to quickly get out of this kind of situation, because there was no way they would be able to contain their opponent in their current state.

It could be different later in the Champions League, especially when the opponent is not as strong as you might imagine, the defeat against Sassoulo was quite strange and embarrassing, but every game has a different result, moreover, this is also a different competition from the league, of course the motivation will also be different and Tottenham is almost the same as Milan, inconsistent and sometimes losing to weak teams in the league

maybe AC Milan when they were playing against Sassuolo were in an unlucky condition or indeed the players were in a bad condition so they got bad results.
Likewise, Tottenham did not always appear in good playing conditions.
But indeed these two teams are trying to be optimistic about getting the UEFA championship title, and of course they are not satisfied enough if they only reach the round of 16.

The match between Milan and Tottenham will be one of the most exciting.  Both teams are getting surprising results in their respective leagues.  Both of the two matches they will play together may result in surprise results.  Since the first match will be in Italy, I think Milan is closer to victory.  The second game is in England and anything can happen.  I think Milan could be the team that will pass the tour.  It's going to be a nice matchup, with two teams of equal strength after all.

they've already spent quite a bit of money on it. and they should have been prepared to raise their game to a better level.
meeting with Dortmund is getting closer. and if they don't finish what they want to achieve soon, it looks like this season they don't have any targets. and maybe next season we will see him play better, maybe also with a new coach.

I think Chelsea has plans for all their recent signings. They’ve already got some great and amazing players and actually don’t need all the recent additions to the squad. But the manager and the management obviously aren’t in the mood to spend money on players that would be useless to the club. They’ve certainly got some plans for all their recent signings and are perhaps building a new squad that would actually deliver on the need to score goals and win games.
They could win Dortmund but Who knows? In football, anything is possible
It is good for Chelsea to have new signing which they believe their new players will transform the performance of the team. I'll be waiting to see the outcome of this new players if it will change for good. But if things continue to remain the same that means Potter is incompetent to be Chelsea's coach.

I don't know how the AC Milan coach wants to focus on the Champions League title. Is he daydreaming? Almost every team in the Champions League is very strong. Each has strong squads. Milan are also dropping points against weaker teams in Serie A. I don't know how they can win against the giants in the Champions League. I'd say they'll lose badly against Tottenham too. The team conceded 5 goals against Sassuolo. How will they resist Kane and Son's attack?

Milan lost the truck. Now their performance is very poor. They have not won in the last four matches. And he lost both the last matches. Milan conceded 5 goals against Sassuolo. And with a poor defense, they won't win against Tottenham. Milan will definitely need to tighten up their defense if they want to win against Tottenham. Although it is Milan's home match, I consider the Tottenham team as my favorite in this match.
bad defense + bad strategy from the coach makes milan look like a bottom team at the moment

people criticize coach milan because their favorite team lost badly to sasuolo, just imagine if they will face tottenham in the champions league, we will definitely see milan lose badly again

whoever is against milan, I think I will choose them in the bet instead of milan

Liverpool's position is not good now. They are also dropping points against weaker teams in the Premier League. Still they have a strong squad and strong attack. Liverpool is capable of fighting against big teams. However, considering the current performances of the two teams, Real Madrid will be ahead. Coach Ancelotti is very experienced. He knows very well how to strategize matches in a competitive league like the Champions League.
Liverpool as a club needs a total overhauling. I learned that they will soon get a new owner. It is only right that they also acquire needs players who are willing to put in the effort to see that they get back to
their glory days. Maybe they should buy back Mane. They sort of lost their confidence since he left. I would want to see him back in the team. If they can do this,
we are definitely going to see team with the chances of winning the league next season and even more.

Football transfer doesn't work that way, and even at that, I believe Ronaldo should have been a lesson to other great players. Liverpool wasn't ready to increase his wages but Bayern increases way more than what he was requesting from Liverpool and now he is enjoying Bundesliga if weren't for his injury but he is coming back very soon. If they want him at all cost, it will only be bad business for Liverpool because Bayern Munich aren't fool too, they will increase the asking price also.

They actually need Mane but they can opt in for other options, most of the work Salah is doing right now is combined work of Mane and his own that's why man is finding it so hard to shine, they should patch it up to get back on their feet.

The opening half of the season now starts with the matches of the big 4 clubs, at least I hope that Tottenham can still excel. Seeing Milan's performance in Serie A, it's not too worried about how Spurs can overcome this. Milan's performance was getting worse, last time they lost to Sassuolo with a score that was quite surprising. Especially in the Champions League, intense competition makes it difficult for Milan to beat Spurs' game.

Apart from that I am more interested in how the PSG vs Bayern match will go, this is definitely more difficult to predict than the Milan vs Tottenham match. If I see how solid PSG are playing, it will be very interesting when dealing with Bayern's game. I'm sure people can't wait for this match.

I agree that in the Champions League match later maybe the result will be different. But most people will make speculations based on their appearance in the domestic league, because there it allows us to see how far they have a promising game scheme. The question is now clear, how will they play in the Champions League with their poor form in Serie A? Realistically it's very strange isn't it.

It's interesting if we look at their last matches in the domestic league (in 3 matches) these two clubs can be said to have decreased, 2 defeats for Paris Saint Germain and 3 draws for Bayern Munich. With their performances declining like that, it becomes more difficult for us to determine who is the favourite, because they decreased simultaneously. In the end, we still have to see their first leg match to get an idea of how they will play in the second leg later. Time is running out for us to really be in that game.

You know that domestic leagues gives rooms and chances while after the group stage, Champions League only give room for just home and away after the group stage which after an aggregate will determine the next move of a team. Also, some of the domestic league are just withing a particular region while Champions League combined top leagues together to challenge each other. I believe when the league resume by February 14, we are going to see changes in the way this teams play and also some players who are still in injury from domestic leagues should be back on therir fit especially Bayern who have gave Mane a long break to get on his feet.
I don't think it's in that direction because looking at Bayern's steps in the group stage they are also the same as they are currently doing in the domestic league by not paying too much attention to that for a while and focusing on the Champions League which makes them strong. It's not impossible that something like this is happening now in the conditions they are in because it's clear that the Champions League is more important and I think even if they are not very good in the bundesliga it won't affect the final result because they will definitely still be in first place but different to the current Champions League.

Chelsea has plans for their players, it takes a good analysis to see that. Next season may not be favorable to some clubs who only have a good first-team squad with no second-choice players and I believe if you look at it this way u will understand that all of Chelsea's new signings are useful.  The club is still competing in two leagues, and This season is still ongoing, it is too early to assume that chelsea will not achieve anything.
