The equalizer of Lewandowski is not enough for Barcelona. That goal only delays the day Barcelona will officially be delegated to Europa League. In addition, the outstanding performance of Inter Milan shows that they will likely to win against Plzen. I don't think Plzen will be able to have points from Inter Milan that means Barcelona will know where they will play after a next match day.

Xavi has made lot of good changes and improvements for Barcelona after a few months but he needs more time in Champions League. Maybe they need one more year to build up a strongly competitive team in Champions League.

In Champions League, mistakes will be sacrificed seriously and it is different than in national league like La Liga. Lot of matches to fix any mistake but still not waste chance to win a league trophy.

At the end of all games last night it's clear that the two Spanish league club's Atleti'co Madrid and Barcelona are eventually relegating to the Europa league, their performances have been below expectation and that's what you get when you fail to do well in the UCL group.

If care is not taking the big boys in Europa league will definitely kick them off still cause they can't just come and take dominance

I have always questions bacerlona's signings most expecially the defenders. The likes of Alonso and Christiensen should be even close to barca's squad let alone there starting eleven. Barca's consistent acquisition of old players affected them today. As it is now Barca are already relegated to Europa League, except inter fails to win there remaining two matches and barca wins both


It's actually a great thing for Liverpool to have Mo Sallah on the score sheet again just before there firece match against City. You pointed a thing out that Sallah should create goal scoring opportunities for teammates. Look there are different set of players and Sallah isn't that kinda of a player because he prefers been the goal scorer. Klopp on the other hand tried to twerk his formation this season by making Sallah a provider and Nunez the pointed man, but that has failed Liverpool this season and I can say it is one of the reason they are having a nightmare of a season already. Klopp should find a way to make Sallah the main goalscorer again and I believe fortunes might change for them

Who else notice the two dark horses in this seasons champions league; Napoli and Club brugge. Napoli haven't drop a point this season in the competition and have qualified already. Club Brugge have also qualified with a the record of keep cleansheets in all the games they played already. When the Draw was made Club brugge was considered to be the team that will be going home but they don't just give up yet. Could any of this team be like the Ajax of 2018 edition that went up to the semis or the Jose's Porto that won the competition against odds let's wait and see

I'm sure not at the beginning no one thought that Club Brugge would qualify for the next round, but in fact Club Brugge are an unbeaten team in Group B and will even become group winners. Not only that, even Atletico couldn't score against Club Brugge in their two matches against Club Brugge. It will be interesting to see how far Club Brugge will stay in the Champions League whether it will only reach the round of 16 or perhaps the semifinals, because dark horse teams like this can make a surprise when playing against big teams later.

A very important win for Liverpool, after crushing Rangers with a landslide score of 1-7, Liverpool almost managed to secure a ticket to go to the last 16.
Liverpool managed to answer doubts about their performance this season, after being surprised by Scott Arfield goal in the 17th minute which made the score 1-0, Liverpool were able to get back up by replying to 7 goals while closing the match with a win.

This result feels very sweet for Liverpool, although they have not been able to show their best performance in the EPL, but in the UCL they have the opportunity to go further. Liverpool only need one more point to be able to follow the steps of Napoli who have managed to go to the round of 16.

Barcelona has a small chance to make it happen. Intermilan is quite stronger compared with barcelona in term of defensive mode. The defensive strategy is a very good counter for garbage tiki take strategy. Barcelona's coach was always using this strategy while they do know if their opponents know so well about that, Barcelona has a very bad record when it will be against a team that has a very strong defensive and strategy. Barcelona should just forget about progressing to the next round in the champions league because Inter Milan is going to win their next match at home against Viktoria Plzen which is too sure. He's too prone to tactical errors. The nepotism orchestrated by Xavi in Barcelona would destabilize the club beyond redemption. His quest to favor Spanish boys is worrisome.

Rangers will live to remember yesterday because they wouldn't have expected it that bad. La Liga level is really different from Champions, proven by Barcelona playing pretty bad from several matches, Lewandowski was unable to contribute to the Champions League, of course this could not be fully blamed to Lewandowski, because many other players also played less well. The match took place in the series, this result made it more difficult for Barcelona in the future, because they were likely to play in the Europa League

Fifty percent of Barcelona have failed in this phase, it is almost certain that Barcelona will play in the Europa League, the number of points for Barcelona is very far from Bayern Munich and Inter Milan, which are three and eight points adrift.

That means the match against Munich will really determine that they will play in the Europa League, because to catch Munich and Inter Milan points will not be easy to do, the match between Inter Milan and Viktoria Plzen will also determine Barcelona. I'm sure Barcelona will not qualify in this phase, which is most likely to play in the Europa League.

Gerard Pique performed poorly in the match against Inter Milan this morning. The Spanish defender was noted to have made several mistakes in Barcelona's defense. The most glaring error occurred when Inter scored the first goal.

Although i was hoping Liverpool can win the match but 7-1 indeed beyond of my expectation because i thought the scores wouldn't be so huge and in the second half Liverpool can find Rangers weakness and they can able to explored it to scoring goals and this is Moh Salah first hattrick this season and apparently he has found again his top performance through this match after cannot scoring goals in the last several matches and with this result too Liverpool will be qualifying to round 16 along with Napoli because although there are 2 matches remaining on group stage but their points seems hard to chased by Ajax

Congratulation to Liverpool for the massive victory they got from Rangers, because many people thought that rangers will defeat Liverpool with many goals but the match ended up for the favour of Liverpool 7-1. Liverpool strikers really showcased potential skills in this match that made Salah to achieved 3 goals from the match, because many people thought Salah can't perform well without the help of Sadio mane but he has prove them wrong in this match. Napoli defeated Ajax 4-2, showed that Napoli are really doing well in this season, because they have defeated many strong teams in this season that made many people to believed that they have something good to achieve in this season.

In this match, Barcelona was fortunate to get a point. Just wait and see, they'll still be relegated to the Europa League. When a team counterattacks, their defense is completely pathetic. Inter is more appropriate than this Barcelona team during the knockout phase. While Lewandowski was the only Barca player who exhibited winning attitude, Inter Milan demonstrated fighting attitude.

Overall, the match between Barcelona vs Inter Milan looks exciting even though in the end they both have to share points. But from every goal that is created I see it is amazing and what is very unfortunate is the failure of Barcelona who are chasing points in the group standings at this time because Barcelona's position in the group standings is not in a safe position to qualify for the round of 16. If Barcelona loses or draws once again in the next match with Bayern Munich, then Barcelona's chances of qualifying for the last 16 of the Champions League will be lost.

Inter Milan should extend Calhanoglu's contract he has been consistent

Barcelona seems to have solved their midfield and attacking issues but failed to have a standard defense. They defended very badly and Barcelona's defenders are not proactive. They gave Inter strikers a lot of space and there seems to be a lack of synergy and communication among them. Gerard Piqué and Eric García combination seems not to be working because they cheaply lose concentration. Marcos Alonso is not at his best; hence Barcelona needs to get quality defenders to support the effort of the ever-shining attackers. Raphinha and Robert Lewandowski are Barca's best signings for now. Their impact on the team is quite encouraging. Inter Milan also surprised me in this match. They came out in the second half after an unimpressive first-half performance.


This a big boast for a team that has suffered so much heartbreak this season. Although Rangers played like an English First division club it is still proof that Liverpool might have been able to solve their challenges. Congratulation to Mo Salah for those three wonderful goals but he should also create goal-scoring opportunities for other players. He wouldn't have scored some of those goals if Rangers had a solid defense.   

We seen a draw tie between Barcelona and inter Milan in Camp Nou. Brilliant finish, fantastic game and the both team earned their shared points. Couldn't get my eyes off Calhanoglu who made stunning kicks into barça box and ter Stegan amazing saves, also Onana made incredible saves too. The two goalkeepers were put under pressure and they did their best. For the coaches condition and reaction when the time was almost going into the extra time, Xavi was fair enough while Simone Inzaghi was moving up and down and got the attention of the referee which he issue him a yellow card and Inzaghi was kind of arguing and boom, the referee came back and finalized it with a red card. Barcelona found themselves in the Europa spot if inter failed to win their next game.

I doubted Liverpool yesterday after seeing the first half draw I thought Rangers would do something in the second half but I was wrong
Liverpool changed strategy and controlled all sides I was more surprised when I saw Moh Salah score 3 goals 
As you said it was his best performance since the new season and hopefully it will continue.

If inter will be winning the next match and inter will be going to the knock out round. Im sure that inter able to win the upcoming match with the same performance against barcelona. Inter and barcelona are still having very difficult times but inter get more advantage over barcelona. It seems like that inter is still trying to win the remaining match. I hope that inter will be going so well to get the full points. barcelona has a very big chance not to make it. I prefer to see inter rather than barcelona in the knock out phase.
Inter is far better compared with barcelona that is only rely with lewandowski.
