I think at this stage of the champions league, both experience and form does not determine who will win at the end of the day but the team that will utilize the chances they create to score goals until and win the match even though they won't Play better football nor have better quality players in the team. In experience both teams have good experience in the champions league competition and in form this season both teams are not in a very good shape despite PSG dominating in their league and Dortmund not being among the top4 teams in their league I believe they will have a very tough match more than expected but at the end of the day the team that scored the most goal will qualify to the finals. Mbappe is the key player of PSG no doubt he has got so much pace and his scoring abilities is second to bone but the Dortmund team will be more difficult from my personal opinion because most of the players in the team can score since they have no special players in the team that does all the scoring for the team, we hope to see an interesting game between them soon.

I keep having the feeling that there will be at least one surprise in the semis the same way there were surprises in the quarter-finals.
In terms of quality, I don't think PSG really have much quality. They only have one or two world class players, not like the other players aren't good but they're not class.
The main difference between the clubs would be the coaches for me. That game is going to be a very tactical game because both teams kind of play the same patter of football; they rely on the wings a lot.
Mbappe too a player that can decide the tie, so if he's not very well marked, he will be a major problem for Dortmund.

Almost everybody have concluded that Madrid would be in the final, as much as they're the favourites, their place in the final is not guaranteed because Bayern are no push overs. They will fight with everything they have and let's also not forget that Bayern also have a lot of experience. Tuchel too as flawed as he might be ia a tactical coach when it comes to matches like this.

I do agree that we are going to end up with Real Madrid winning in any normal case, and that is what people are expecting for sure, a team that managed to beat City should be able to easily beat Bayern Munich and any other team they face at Finals as well.

However, this is football and you never know what you are going to get, it is almost always a bit of a shock when you face a team and I think it is quite clear that we may not get what we want at all times. We could always end up with a result that is shocking. Like for example Bayern getting a huge win, like 3-0 for example, yes when you hear about it that feels like that is an unlikely situation, but the reality is that we could get a win like that, football is filled with unexpected results.

Yes, you are right, even though Dortmund is one of the experienced clubs in the Champions League, currently PSG has better quality players and is able to dominate the match when it starts and Mbappe is still one of the players who is very reliable and must really maintain his performance to be ready. compete in the semi-finals.

I also have that feelings that PSG a.d Real Madrid will be the two clubs that will play the final match. This is because both of them are stronger than their opponents in the semifinals. I might be underestimating Dortmund strength currently, but I don't think that their force is strong enough to terminate PDG from reaching the finals.

Real Madrid will not take their own match easy with Bayern Munich, and I don't see Munich surviving the semifinals but they cannot prove my wrong. Only Kane cannot do anything for Munich, and that might be a problem for them. Madrid have good strikers that are goal mongers which make them to be the favorite in this match.

As for the confrontation between Dortmund and PSG, I don’t think that victory (if PSG wins at all) will be comfortable for them. PSG had problems in the group stage (which Dortmund won), they had problems with Barcelona, they are not strong enough to easily beat Dortmund, which are capable of producing brilliant games in any condition.
By the way, in case Dortmund takes 5th place in the Bundesliga, they are very interested in gaining at least some points in the confrontation with PSG in order to guarantee Germany a place in the top 2 of the UEFA rankings.

Underestimating the opponent is a mistake made by a team. Moreover, the competition has entered the semifinal round. Real Madrid is the favorite team to win this competition based on the quality of the team and its experience, but Bayern Munich has also succeeded in winning the UCL trophy several times. Usually Bundesliga only has Bayern Munich as their best representative in Champions League and other clubs like Dortmund don't go too far in this tough competition. It explains why chance for a Champions League final match between two Germany clubs is very rarely. Even for stronger leagues like Serie A, La Liga or Premier League, it don't happen too often.

Since my favorite team has be locked out from the quarter-final, Real Madrid will be my favorite team in this semi-final because they prove to people that they prepared well to fight the battle till the end of the tournament to lift the trophy because they will surely beat Bayern Munich 2:1.

Bayern Munich locked out Arsenal in the quarter-final, to make their fans begin to praise their coach for making it happen again in his tenure because the game started like what will favor Arsenal but it was a shocked when Bayern Munich player scored the winning goal, because they are very ready to be among the team that will play Real Madrid in the final.

I don't think PSG will beat Dortmund because they are not well organized in this season, and they managed to beat Barcelona in the quarter-final that made Barcelona player to received red card before they achieved victory from the game.

Yes, it's actually true that no team in this stage of the competition should be underestimated, but we need to understand that in the history of the champions league, in other to be successful in it, experience is one important component a team must have, because in a situation where the both teams became even, that's when experience start playing it's part, that's why I feels like the winner of this year champions league is in between Bayern Munich and real Madrid, because they do not just have a rich history in the competition, they also have the required experience in it to beat any other of their opponent reaching this stage, which is  PSG or Dortmund, So i will be giving this year champions league winner  to a Bayern Munich vs Real Madrid tie.

For Bayern Munich last edition lead to final on season 2019/20 with pandemic era and most of knock out round match playing as single match without home and away match.

The meeting of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the semifinals of the Champions League this season will certainly be quite interesting because both of them are teams that often appear in the Champions League and generally have a lot of experience in the Champions League. It's even difficult for me to make predictions about their match in the first leg because in the semifinals each team must play as well as possible so that it won't be so difficult in the second leg. So their match could be quite fierce from the first leg and that is something that every fan really hopes for.

Some year's back, they lost the Champions League Competition finals to Bayern Munich, I think not just against Borrussia Dortmund, I do want to see them winning this Competition. I know how hardcore Real Madrid have been over the past years, but can we see someone else lifting the Champions League Competition? Lol.

Luis Enrique has experience in the Champions League, I don't need remind you he won the Champions League with Barcelona, having the likes of Xavi Hernandez, Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar Junior.

This is the Champions League Competition no doubts, but what I believe and know is that games are being decided on the pitch. And even if Kylian doesn't win it now, he will definitely do when he moves to Real Madrid next season.

Dortmund is a very stubborn team to face and they are not an easy team to beat at all even though PSG have a stronger squad it can be difficult for them to beat Dortmund. PSG looks more confident with Mbappe and Dembele but it is no guarantee that they will win just that they have a higher chance of winning.

In terms of quality PSG has more quality players but they need to perform well if they want to make it to the finals. I’d like to see Mbappe win the Champions League trophy for PSG before leaving.

I don’t think qualifying for the Champions League semi final make them the best 4 teams in Europe because some teams get lucky and pass through a less difficult route and that way they face lesser opponents and progress to the finals while others are not so lucky. See an example, Manchester City were drawn with Madrid and got eliminated not because they are not good but because a team must lose.

at these levels any team can win, be it PSG, Dortmunt or others
when we get to the final stages it becomes super difficult to understand who can win or not, in fact bookmakers set high odds for everything win loss and draw

Well about the phrase "they  are the european best 4 teams" i have to say something , is ""true"" but everyone knows for example Macnhester City is way better than Dortmund, but they dont are here because they lose against Real Madrid, and Dortmund was more lucky in his draws.

So in fact they are not always the best 4 teams, also Bayern Munich is quite bad this season.

Yeah of course. PSG can't be ruled out. Mbappe always has a potential to make a huge impact on a matchup to change the direction of it. His performance will be key against Dortmund as well in my opinion. When he doesn't have a good day Luis Enrique just hopes to see his team showing a better performance as a whole. This is really a sad factor about PSG. They aren't like Manchester City for example. They can't stand strong mostly in big games when their most important player doesn't play impressively. 

I also wouldn't like to see a Dortmund - Bayern Munich finale like in the 2012/13 season. It would be really boring for the reason you said.

Anyone writing off a team at this stage is making a big mistake. Honestly, these are Europe's best four teams. Without elite status, they wouldnt be here. Remember Manchester City's knockout last year? Shows that champions arent invincible versus Real Madrid or Bayern. They've played great. Red cards, injuries, and other random circumstances arent minor. A match can be flipped by them. This has happened several times. Unpredictability adds excitement. Though I have favourites, I wont make wild predictions. In football, "impossible" doesnt exist. Dont you think that makes it the finest game ever?

After what PSG and Dortmund went through in the quarter finals, I can no longer underestimate these two teams. Dortmund and PSG both have a 50:50 chance of playing Leg 1 at Dortmund home ground and for me Dortmund is difficult to beat. Based on Dortmund home match record, it is indeed very positive, but entrusting PSG in Enrique hands is also something to be wary of.


Regarding Madrid and Bayern Munich it is obviously difficult, I know people will prefer Madrid. However head to head is 12/11 so Bayern Munich's current strength could still be a threat and a nightmare for Madrid if they are unable to overcome Leg 1. Of course I hope to also favor Los Blancos as the winner to advance to the final.
