A 3-3 draw is not a good result for Real Madrid. Man City now has the opportunity to get to the next round. As I mentioned few days ago, Pep Guardiola understands how to stop the UCL maestro, Ancelotti. Meanwhile, Ancelotti still cannot understand how to stop Pep Guardiola strategy well. That doesn't mean Ancelotti's strategy is bad, it's just Ancelotti needs to improvise his strategy so Madrid movements and rhythm of play are more varied to win the match.
Yep, it's true that this draw seemed to open up the opportunity for Manchester City to advance to the next round because Real Madrid couldn't score a goal to give Manchester City an aggregate difference in that match. It's a shame that Real Madrid was unable to take advantage of the home advantage in this match and made things difficult for Manchester. City, the 3 goals scored by Real Madrid were the same as in vain because Manchester City also scored 3 goals to achieve a draw. This is the strategy used by Pep Guardiola, he puts pressure on Real Madrid even though he cannot beat Real Madrid at Madrid's headquarters, but Manchester City will try to beat Real Madrid in the second leg because Manchester City has a greater chance of playing at home.

The strategy used by Carlo Ancelotti is actually good, but the strategy used by Pep Guardiola is more effective in reaching Real Madrid's defense, Manchester City can control the ball well so it can make things difficult for Real Madrid, even though technically both clubs still have a chance to advance to the next round but Real Madrid's chances are not as big as Manchester City's, their competition looks very fierce in the race for the Champions League title and they don't seem to want to miss any opportunities at any second.

In fact, since the group stage this season at UCL, we have all realized that PSG is not as good as we imagined. In fact, they were able to escape the group stage by gaining quite critical points and only based on a greater goal difference than Milan. Dortmund could even be superior in the group stage compared to PSG. So we don't need to be surprised by this result. Because even though Barcelona was not as strong as last season in Laliga. But in the UCL we have seen that Barcelona has been quite extraordinary, even since the group stage and the round of 16. So Barcelona's victory at PSG's home ground was not a big surprise. It's just that I was quite surprised by Mbappe's contribution which was not as good as usual in this match. But I think in the second leg we can't underestimate PSG. But perhaps it is very natural that Barcelona will be the favorite. Considering that Barcelona won when playing away, Barcelona will definitely be more comfortable when playing at home.

Barcelona took a very confident step towards the semi-finals, beating PSG away is already half the battle. Still, Enrique had fewer resources this season to achieve a positive result, of course this is not the end, there is a return match in which PSG will try to win, but beating Barcelona at home will be even more difficult. I see great potential in Enrique, but he needs to strengthen the team, let's see what he gets at the end of this season, funding or dismissal...

I don't think PSG will advance far in the Champions League this season. What does yesterday's performance mean? They played a very bad match. Imagine that Barcelona, who hasn't played well this season, comes to PSG's pitch and wins 3-2. It's very embarrassing for a team to lose at home, and in the Champions League, you have to play well and win to advance to the second leg. PSG's first leg match gives Barcelona a chance to advance to the next round of the Champions League semifinal. The second leg of the match will take place in Barcelona Field, and I don't think PSG will beat Barcelona there, which is why I think Barcelona will qualify.

PSG gave Barcelona an opportunity to qualify for the next round in the first leg. but Barcelona will not give PSG the same opportunity in the second leg. I think PSG's best chance in the second leg is a draw. Xavi certainly knows very well how to beat PSG on their own turf.
there is a possibility that we will also get a surprise, but PSG this season has not been very good for UCL. I won't say Barelona is better either. but looking at the opportunities that exist, I think Xavi can give his best for Barcelona this season in the UCL after perhaps having difficulty catching Madrid in La Liga.
PSG messed up for not hodling the draw till stoppage time, because they failed to understand that sometimes corner kicks are advantages to games like this. If it was not with the headers Barcelona would not have won the match. This is what PSG needs to put into consideration when he is going to Spain for the second leg. It will be difficult for Barcelona to lose at home, and difficult for PSG to win them.

This gives PSG a very slim chance of qualifying to the semifinals. The game was balanced, even though Mbappe was unable to display his talent and make proper use of his chances.

If that’s your opinion, then let’s watch and see, but for me, this victory does not determine that Barcelona have already qualified for the second round, even with the fact that PSG are not in good shape in the Champions League this season. Even with that, Barcelona are also not better than PSG, so in the second leg, PSG may win. Barcelona is still unpredictable, but that is just how I’m viewing it because the way PSG dominated the match yesterday was so good that I was even surprised that they lost to Barcelona because they had more chances of scoring a goal than Barcelona.

Congrats to all culés, this was a great match! There was much written about the game, I only want to add that I am surprised that no one mentioned Dembele's celebration, when he scored a goal against his former team, FC Barcelona. It's a shame man, he was well-treated by FC Barcelona. He spent 6 years in Barcelona, was getting injuries upon injuries but still, Xavi put trust in him, the club treated him well, fans defended him and Dembele still betrayed Barcelona.

Did he really thought that it was cool and Barcelona deserved it from him? Here is the video: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/7U7RUDNkyE4
this is football for crying out loud and except you've not played local football or you've not played football at all, then you won't know how excited scoring a goal is like and it will take some couple of minutes before remembering you've just scored against your formal team.

Their is no big deal out of his celebration and I guess the fans understand that he is out of the club and has to live his best life in his current club. He isn't the first person to have celebrated after scoring against his former club so let's not make a big deal outta it.

Yes that's right. I also think that PSG's chances of getting back up in the second leg are very slim because Xavi really understands PSG's game, just guarding Mbappe, so it will be difficult for PSG to win. Just look at the first leg, Mbappe couldn't do anything because his guard was very tight.

Apart from that, the squad depth between PSG and Barcelona is quite balanced. Judging from the head to head statistics, it is not much different. Barcelona is the favorite because they are mentally compact and have a wealth of experience on the Champions League stage. In the first leg match, Psg played disorganized, very messy. Poor defender control. It ended slowly, PSG's attacks were always successfully blocked by players Araujo and Cubarsí. So PSG's defeat opened up Barcelona's opportunity to qualify for the semifinals, of course Barcelona will put all its concentration into the second leg because in Laliga Barcelona's hopes have also been dashed.

PSG lost 3-2 to Barcelona in the Champions League quarter-final first leg match between Barcelona vs PSG. Raphinha's two early goals for Barcelona essentially put Barcelona well ahead of PSG. Mbappe failed to score for PSG, basically PSG fell far behind in that place. Expectations were high for PSG this season in the Champions League but they fell short in the first leg against Barcelona. PSG's first leg loss to Barcelona means that the next match is easy for Barcelona but relatively difficult for PSG. Even if Barcelona can't score in the next match, PSG must win by at least 2-0. Since Barcelona won the first leg, Barcelona must play for the win in the second leg. The first leg matches are very important for every team since the Champions League quarter finals and Barcelona easily cleared the first leg hurdle.

Why is this season's Champions League different, I'm starting to wonder? The reason for this is that in the Real Madrid vs. Manchester City match, the best players for Real Madrid, Vinicius and Bellingham, are unable to play as well as they used to be able to. De Bruyne of Manchester City also did not play because of how he felt before the game, and yesterday, mbape, who is making PSG proud, did not even attempt to score a goal. He failed to have even one shot on goal, which is unfortunate because PSG desperately needs Mbappe right now. If he doesn't show up by playing well, that will be it for them in the Champions League this year.

I feel right from time PSG have always found it difficult to play Barcelona, I remember in 2017 when Barcelona made a come back against Paris Saint-Germain, in a game that saw Barcelona down on four goals in the first leg of that encounter, Barcelona later went on to win the  second leg making the aggregate 6-5. A come back a lot of football fans never saw coming because we all felt Barcelona where Already out based on the result of the first leg, so outside of yesterday's game, PSG always find it difficult to maintain a win whenever they meet Barcelona, mbappé was performing as if he was under a spell not create impact on the game.

And yesterday history repeated it self as Barcelona has the advantage of taking the lead in the first leg from away as the match ended 2:3 in favour of the away team Barcelona. Watching the game yesterday both teams had good performance and the game wasn't difficult for the home team as they came from a 0:1 lead in the first half to score 2 goals under the first 4 minutes of the second half but at the end Adreas Christensen got the winning goal for Barcelona after Raphinha got the equalizer in the 62nd minutes of the game.

Regardless of the history between the two teams where Barcelona has had more winning opportunities than PSG, I don't think the match yesterday we saw a weak PSG and Mbappe may not have scored but his runs and crosses was seen in the game and the second leg is going to be more interesting because anything is possible who knows if the PSG team is going to set another history by going to Spain to defeat Barcelona in a very bad way  but until then, I think they had a good fight last night and Barcelona had the opportunity of winning which they utilized properly.

PSG vs Barcelona was a really good match between the two teams as the attacks from both sides were adequate from start to finish. The best performance in the match was Barcelona's team, moreover, Barcelona's attack was mostly successful as they put the ball in the opposition's net three times. However, in Barcelona's game with PSG, they closed most of the time and PSG could not successfully equalize the game. PSG had more total shots than Barcelona but Barca's goalkeeper did well and every player did well to stay in the Champions League. And with this one goal lead in the first leg, Barcelona have a bit of a win and will definitely be more aggressive in the next leg. And since the next match PSG will play in the field of Barcelona, they may be in more disappointment and Barcelona will definitely win in the field of Barcelona and they can enter the semi-finals.
Coach Xavi Hernandez's reasonable changes were vital to Barca's 3-2 win against PSG on the away field. Barca has an excellent opportunity to enter the semi-finals with the advantage of winning the first leg and the second leg being played at Camp Nou . Despite having home field advantage, PSG should have entered the game poorly, playing deadlocked against a Barca team that everyone knew was in decline. Kylian Mbappe is the most expected name in the PSG squad in the confrontation with Barca. But the truth is, Mbappe didn't even have a single shot on goal towards goalkeeper Ter Stegen. Therefore, coach Luis Enrique and his team will have to try very hard in the second leg at Camp Nou if they want to turn the tide.
Barcelona fans are thrilled with what their players and coach Xavi Hernandez achieved. Despite injuries and absences, Barcelona secured a crucial victory. Mbappe was there, but his presence was not effective at all. He made some good dribbles but faced a tough day against Barcelona's defenders. We're eagerly awaiting the second leg; the match is far from over yet. The game at Camp Nou will be challenging, but football is full of surprises.

Real Madrid - Manchester city was an exciting match to say the least. I watched the whole thing and it was a pure spectacle, a very beautiful beat and replay. The first 3 goals came in the first 15 minutes of the game and it was already foreshadowed that it would be a match full of sudden twists and turns, the only sore point was the near absence of the two most expected players, haaland and bellingam were hardly seen throughout the match.

Haaland is nearly always lost in big games. I'm sad for him when this happens. He isn't a player who gets the ball from behind and carries it to front to distribute it or score himself. He needs to be fed by the other players to do his deadly finish. He didn't even get the ball in the whole game if I don't remember wrong. De Bruyne didn't play which was also a negative for Haaland.  Sad

The Champions League continued from where it left last night.  Smiley  PSG - Barcelona was really lovely however I thought PSG would win. This result is very surprising but not only to me of course. Most people must have thought the same as me. In a matchup like this I believe nothing ended yet. PSG might turn things around too but Barcelona have a really solid advantage by 3-2 now.  Smiley

In the other game of the night the game was always ready to go for the advantage of each side. Dortmund defense was horrible and Atletico Madrid could have won by a bigger goal gap. At the same time Dortmund also had 2 shots hitting the post in the last minutes and missed the chance of getting a draw...

It was two days of great Champions League! Four really intense matches full of spectacle. After the 3-3 draw of Real Madrid - Manchester city and the 2-2 draw of Arsenal - Bayern Munich, yesterday's results were Athletic Madrid's 2-1 victory against Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona's 2-3 win at home to PSG. This points out that Spanish football is very competitive and that possibly three Spanish teams could make it to the semifinals, and if so it would mean that one of them is certain to reach the final. Who do you think could make it to the final between Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona?
I really like the score lines for yesterday at least there was a win opportunities for the 4 teams that played. It is true that spanish teams are more prepared to win the UCL title. I think they are more serious in actions more than the english teams. However, i wont conclude because the day before yesterday, those teams that played were so tough, with brilliant performance and thrilling actions every single moment in the game.

For the question you asked i think, Barcelona have higher chances of going to the finals. This is because they have eon their first leg against PSG which i am certain that they will win their second leg at Home. After that they will face Atletico Madrid or Arsenal in the semi final which probably they might win any of these teams i mentioned. Actually this is my own predictions. Ill love to hear from others.

I’m not at all sure that Barcelona is the team that has enough of a one-goal advantage to feel comfortable in the return game, I think that nothing has been decided here at all. At the moment, the odds of Barcelona qualifying are rated at 1.24 and PSG's odds at 4.10. It is obvious to me that the value is in the bet on PSG.
If I remember correctly, I made a bet with exactly the same odds that Atlético would qualify (against Inter) and I was right.

The results of those Champions League games were insane, I couldn't stop thinking about how Barcelona defeated PSG in their away game, it was unbelievable because I underestimated Barcelona's performance against PSG. Does this mean that Barcelona is currently stronger than PSG? I don't think we should underrated Barcelona's weakness at this time. After Barcelona conceded two goals, I thought the game was over, but Pedri came on to assist just one minute after replacing Roberto, while Raphinha equalized to level the scored.

However, Atletico Madrid on the other hand, i did not expect them to has early win against Dortmund. I had doubts about these two La Liga clubs because Atletico Madrid struggled with Inter Milan in the round of 16, but they proved me wrong by scoring two goals in the first half. I think Atletico Madrid will eliminate Dortmund in the semifinal.

I think it is too early to predict because all three La Liga clubs are now performing well. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona won their first legs, it was only Real Madrid that battle with their opponent in their first leg, we don't know how they'll play the second leg at Manchester City's home stadium.

The three Spanish teams Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid performed well in the first leg matches. While Barcelona and Atletico Madrid managed to win, Real Madrid drew their match. However, Madrid's opponents were very difficult. However, I expected to see Real Madrid win in the home match. The match was drawn 3-3.

Barcelona players performed well against PSG. It was very difficult for Barcelona to perform well and win against Luis Enrique's side. Moreover, the match was PSG's home match. Barcelona won the away match 3-2. Barcelona will be able to qualify for the semi-finals only if they put in some consistent performances in the home matches.

The dominance of Atletico Madrid players in the home match was eye-catching. But I was sure that Atletico Madrid would win this match. Because the opponent Dortmund team is not in good form now. The performance of this team in the Bundesliga is also quite erratic. So Atletico Madrid was the favorite in this match.

Barcelona won in France, they will welcome the french club to Spain and have the upper hand still.
Successfully beating PSG in France certainly gave Barcelona even more confidence to be able to finish the second match well and both teams played very well, but the Barcelona players were able to take advantage of corner kicks to score goals with headers, I don't think Barcelona will fail at home later. They can be sure that they will advance to the semifinals without having to go through extra time or a penalty shootout.
One of the factors in Barcelona success in humiliating PSG at home 2-3 was because they did not panic and continued to play with their original style even though they were behind 2-1. Barcelona defense was one of the most highlighted lines in this match, Barcelona defenders played very disciplined and managed to close down the shooting space from the PSG players. Barcelona defenders played at an extraordinary level, they managed to suppress Mbappe who managed to score a hat trick against Barcelona in the previous meeting, Mbappe was made not to move even though PSG attacked in the second half quite a lot with dominant ball control.

The victory that has just been achieved at PSG headquarters does not mean that the second leg meeting will be easier for Barcelona, they must remain alert to the strength that PSG has even though they have the advantage of playing at home. PSG will continue to direct all their energy into the 2nd leg, they will continue to appear attacking and try to pose a threat in order to maintain their chances of qualifying for the semifinals, Barcelona must be more careful and play at the same level to prevent PSG from making a comeback in the 2nd leg.
