This match shouldn’t be much trouble for Real Madrid. This is just the first half of the game and Real Madrid are owning the possession.

Seems like we're watching different matches. Leipzig is clearly the better team in the first 23 minutes and have already had two top-class chances. They should also have been awarded a penalty. It's a mystery what the video referee decided. Leipzig tackle the central defenders early on, which has already led to several big mistakes from Madrid.

As I've said before, this is likely to be a tough match with few goals scored. Because after all, Real Madrid is also playing without Bellingham due to injury but indeed, even so at least Real Madrid still has good dominance in this match . But still, although Real Madrid can still play well but ya, the reality is that Leipzig also does not play badly at all . Therefore, I believe that there will not be many goals scored in this match, even if they do manage to score but the end result may only be a narrow victory like one goal or maybe even a draw.

Bayern Munich had a poor showing this week against Bayer Leverkusen in the battle for first place in the league. Bayern Munich has been plagued by player injuries since the beginning of the season. Tuchel has not been able to find stability with the team either. Tuchel's choices against Leverkusen were much talked about and I think he made wrong decisions.

Their new signing Sacha Boey did not perform well against Leverkusen. Bayern Munich also lacked productivity in the attacking line. Lazio, who are far away from the top of Serie A, may have pinned all their hopes on the Champions League and may put up a tough fight against Munich. Bayern, on the other hand, will try to prove themselves in this match. I would like to say in advance that Bayern Munich will be the team to advance.

17 minutes have now passed for the Copenhagen vs Man City match and the score has still not changed. What is even more surprising is that Copenhagen seems to be having difficulty escaping the pressure from the Man City players who continue to dominate the match very well from the start until now. I think the second half could even end with Man City scoring another goal and allowing Man City to play more comfortably in the second half. Or in fact Man City will also continue to score more goals to secure their position so they can comfortably qualify from the round of 16. So that in the second leg, Man City can play more relaxed if they already have an aggregate advantage. But it is the presence of De Bruyne who has restored Man City's sharp attacking rhythm this season.
I also think that Man City will score more goals in this match. Because even now Man City looks like they can play very comfortably. Meanwhile, Copenhagen is really under very high pressure. I think 3 goals could be scored by Man City against Copenhagen in the current match.

But for the RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid match, the score is still 0-0. And both teams have good chances. I hope Real Madrid can also make a stronger dominance in this match. But it looks like that hasn't happened yet.
I didn't watch the RB Leipzig vs Real Madrid match but when I looked at the match statistics it was clear that RB Leipzig could keep up with Real Madrid or even had more shots on target than Real Madrid and even RB Leipzig's passing accuracy was also better. . I don't know what happened in that match but the statistics alone are quite worrying. But I bet on Real Madrid winning for that match. And I still believe Real Madrid will win.

For the Copenhagen vs Man City match, currently the score has not changed. And it seems that Copenhagen is strengthening their defense because they are aware that they could concede more goals if they don't immediately strengthen their defense. The match became a little boring. Because I also hope that Copenhagen can provide a little better resistance.

I already said this in the europa league thread, but im not really into this matches of the round of 16 in this year, and that is because the matchmaking is shit, for example today, COpenaghe against Manchester City doesnt stand a chance.

Leipzig can be a good amtch but only when leipzig is in his home, in the overall result they dont stand any chance against Real Madrid.
Not expecting more because we know that Manchester City will have more chances to win so it's not an exciting match - I feel like we'll be guessing.
But who knows if the game ends in a draw for example? It's not a big surprise or a loss for Manchester City but look at when they play at home or the second leg then it's going to be a ferocious game.

Yes it's true that sometimes playing at home is more aggressive but we have to know that their opponents are the kings of Europe with the most trophies so knowing who's going to get away with it, it's easier to guess.

Manchester City is 0-1 ahead of Copenhagen, I know that is normal because Manchester City completely dominated this match. Copenhagen must defend because Manchester City are quite good at building attacks, so there is no way to beat them unless there is a significant change in strategy or perhaps if Copenhagen does not play under pressure.

It's somewhat reasonable to expect Manchester City to win the game by more than 3 goals if they increase their attacking intensity, but it's a shame that Jack Grealish seemed to feel uncomfortable and asked to be replaced after only playing for 20 minutes. Doku replaces it and it will be just as good, so I don't think it will be a bad thing.

I don't see Real Madrid having issues winning Leipzig,  they don't look to me like they will have any challenges at all doing that, winning Leipzig in their champions league game tonight, Real Madrid has a goal to win the champions league this season, they will not want to stop that dream at this point.
So you think it's only Madrid that has that goal? I would like to think almost every club in that competition would love to win the champions league so declassifying Leipzig would definitely be a wrong choices because like the famous arsenal coach (arsene Wenger) use to say, he said football is a game of passion and by this it means no one actually plans for the outcome as both teams are passionate of winning.

You say it right, but it's hard to tell people who only want to win without considering the risk of losing or drawing. Even though Real Madrid are favorites in this match, that doesn't mean they can win without any problems. Both teams have been tied for 30 minutes so far and both teams have had chances to score.

Manchester City had the ball but Copenhagen tried to defend well. City found opportunities again in the first 10 minutes and the first goal came in the 11th minute. De Bruyne's return took City up a level. His harmony with Foden is perfect.
After the goal, Copenhagen's resistance will decrease and City will be able to get more opportunities. City wants to get an advantageous score from the first match and advance to the next round. Copenhagen had a disadvantage because their own league wasn't played, this became clear. It will be a smooth round of 16 pass for City.
I would like to note Foden, an extremely successful season for him, he is becoming an important player in Guardiola’s team, and their combination with De Bruyne is working very well. An early goal opens up new opportunities for City, now Copenhagen is obliged to go on the attack and thereby will leave opportunities for the City in attack, I think we will still see a goal from City today.

As good as the Real Madrid team is currently, I don't think a team like Leipzig will be able to stop Madrid's winning streak.

Real Madrid's players have played brilliantly in every match of the group stage. Madrid won all 6 matches. Real Madrid team won by dominating both matches against Napoli. And Ancelotti is very serious in Champions League matches. He will try his best this season to win the Champions League title. My prediction is Real Madrid will win both home and away matches against Leipzig to secure their quarter final ticket.

This match shouldn’t be much trouble for Real Madrid. This is just the first half of the game and Real Madrid are owning the possession. RB Leipzig could give them a tough time but I know in the end, Real Madrid will prevail in this match. The current form of Real Madrid makes them unstoppable to be beaten by any team now and they are always in their best form while playing the champions league. They are amongst the favourites for the champions league title and they have to prove that they’re just the best in this match today by winning the game and also winning the second leg match with them too. The quarter final tickets shouldn’t be a problem to them, I am certain they will make it to the next round.

Leipzig is an average team. Real Madrid is above this in terms of squad quality. Of course, the absence of Bellingham will affect them badly, but still, the remaining players are good and have the quality to take the team to the next round. Of course, Real can advance by winning 2 matches, but even in the worst case scenario, I think they will advance. Even if they lose in this match, they will advance to Spain.
I don't see Real Madrid having issues winning Leipzig,  they don't look to me like they will have any challenges at all doing that, winning Leipzig in their champions league game tonight, Real Madrid has a goal to win the champions league this season, they will not want to stop that dream at this point.

I'm very optimistic about Real Madrid advancing to the next stage of the champions league this season and probably advance even beyond because in the current form and strength of Real Madrid and their experience they have with champions league, they are definitely not going to give a chance at Real Madrid to win the trophy this season as they have not had the trophy for a season or two now but the defending champions either isn't willing to let go of the trophy but wants to set the records of winning in a roll all at once.

In this game, unfortunately, Real Madrid will not be able to count on Jude Bellingham, who is injured and was not called up for this game. When you look at Real Madrid's performance since Benzema left, realize that Real Madrid have become very dependent on Jude Bellingham, before Jude Bellingham arrived at real madrid they were dependent on benzema, when benzema wasn't playing, then real madrid most of the time lost the game, after benzema left real madrid and Jude Bellingham arrived, so real madrid has become very dependent on Jude Bellingham, and as today Jude Bellingham will not play because he is injured, so this game will become difficult for real madrid to win, even the bookmakers are placing balanced odds because there is a big risk of real madrid losing in this game

if we look at the opponent, in the last 4 games they managed to score at least 2 goals in each game even when they played against the best team in the bundesliga, I'm talking about leverkusen they managed to score 2 goals in the game against leverkusen, but they are also a team that suffers many goals, the problem is that real madrid will have a weakened attack and in defense real madrid has been a team that sometimes concedes a lot of goals, which is why even though I had bet on real madrid to win in that game, I was very I'm cautious and I only put in a little money, so even if Real Madrid draws or loses it won't affect me

Manchester City is playing very seriously, they are playing with all their best players, which means that the Manchester City coach is cautious and wants to resolve the game in this first leg, Copenhagen is a team that has managed to score many goals in its games, that's why Manchester City needs to have a good defense and a good attack if they want to win, and when there are more goals, Manchester City can score better in this game, because they would be able to resolve the tie early, I bet on Manchester City to win the game and I hope I get my bet right

As we all are predicting that Real Madrid would win against RB Leipzig because of their current position in the Laliga league(topping the table), let's not forget that both teams have won against each other, once in their home games of the Champion League match(Real Madrid has won against RB Leipzig, same as RB Leipzig winning against Real Madrid).

In the same match against the other this season, we can't ascertain the team that wins this time around. Whether what happened in their last season's Champions League match would repeat itself. Hands crossed.

If we refer to the depth of these two teams, of course we know very well that RB Leipzig and Real Madrid have a very obvious depth gap. on paper, Madrid should be able to beat the home team easily in this match. on the other hand, Marco Rose's squad is in unstable performance in its domestic league competition. in the 5 matches played by Leipzig, Marco Rose's squad experienced 3 defeats, 1 win and 1 draw. so statistically and based on theory Madrid should win this again easily. however, there was something a little strange about this match. Leipzig with odds of @2.95, while Real Madrid with @2.25. I mean, Madrid's odds are a little strange. moreover, this match was held at the Red Bul Arena.
IMO, I think this match will be tough. my estimate, Under 3 goals option with @1.87. well, let's just wait for this match. it is possible that this match will provide a surprise.

RB Leipzig v Real Madrid

RB Leipzig XI: Gulacsi, Henrichs, Simakan, Orban, Klostermann, Raum, Schlager, Xavi Simons, Olmo, Openda, Sesko.

Real Madrid XI: Lunin, Carvajal, Tchouameni, Nacho, Mendy, Kroos, Valverde, Camavinga, Brahim Diaz, Rodrygo, Vini Jr.

Carlo Ancelotti said they are in good mood and again champions league is their favourite competition, I agree with him because real Madrid has the highest record in the Champions league more than any other clubs.

Copenhagen v Manchester City

Copenhagen XI: Grabara; Vavro, McKenna, Diks, Jelert; Mattsson, Falk, Diogo Gonçalves; Elyounoussi, Claesson, Achouri.

Manchester City XI: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias, Ake, Rodrigo, De Bruyne, Bernardo, Foden, Grealish, Haaland.

Currently Manchester city are in their best form right now with their full squad and Pep Guardiola also said their last meeting doesn't dictate for today's game but they need to win this one to fill comfortable in their second leg, I equally agree with him but not as easy as he thought because even that last meeting Manchester city only won 5-0 in Etihad Stadium while draw in Copenhagen home which show how strong they are in Parkend stadium, but let see how the game will end.

In fact, yes, it is not difficult for City to play an away match in the Champions League playoffs, I mean that for Guardiola this will not be a big disaster, because in a home match, City most likely will not leave the opponent many opportunities to win. This does not mean that City came to Copenhagen to play for a draw, they will play to win, but I admit that today they will be more careful than, for example, they can afford to play in the Premier League.

Today, there is UEFA Champions League round of 16 matches first leg. In my opinion, the favorite teams are Manchester City and Real Madrid. I feel like we will watch very enjoyable matches.

Manchester City's starting XI against Copenhagen: Ederson, Walker, Stones, Dias, Ake, Rodri, De Bruyne, Foden, Bernardo, Haaland, Grealish. Copenhagen's starting XI against Manchester City : Grabara, Diks, Vavro, Claesson, Mattsson, Diogo, El Younoussi, Jelert, McKenna, Achouri, Falk.

RB Leipzig's starting XI against Real Madrid: Gulacsi, Simakan, Orban, Olmo, Klostermann, Openda, Xavi, Raum, Schlager, Sesko, Henrichs. Real Madrid's starting XI against RB Leipzig : Lunin, Carvajal, Tchouameni, Nacho, Mendy, Valverde, Kroos, Camavinga, Rodyrgo, Brahim Diaz, Vini Jr.

If Real Madrid wants to win, of course they cannot underestimate Leipzig, especially with the absence of important players Bellingham and the absence of a central defender which will certainly have a bad impact on Real Madrid. In this match, it looks like Ancelotti will play center back Nacho who is partnered with Tchouameni and Bellingham will be replaced by Brahim.

Apart from that, Leipzig during the group phase was quite productive, even managing to score 13 goals in six matches. And if you look at the meeting between the two teams, they met in the Champions League group stage last season. At that time, both teams beat each other at their respective home grounds. So my prediction is that this match will be intense and full of surprises, I will bet Over 3 on total goals.

Ancelotti is a very experienced coach. He knows the capabilities of his opponents well. And even if I think Leipzig are a very weak team, Ancelotti will not underestimate this team at all. Because he knows very well that the opposition can become dangerous at home at any moment.

Real Madrid are very strong and experienced but their main weakness in this match is not with Bellingham squad. Madrid will not have three experienced players like Bellingham, Rudiger and Alaba with the squad for this match. Even so Vini and Rodrygo are on good terms. Hope Madrid win this match.

why is real madrid's super star and temporary top score for real madrid not included in the list of players sent down by jude bellingham. is it due to card accumulation or injury so it is not included in the list of players.
Maybe there is a reason why one of the players was not included in the list because the Real Madrid coach really understands how to field players to keep the team's stamina strong. Because Real Madrid does not have as many strikers or reserve wings as in previous seasons, the Real Madrid coach must be able to devise a unique strategy when competing in the Champions League, which has enormous prestige. Because if the opponent is Leipzig, you shouldn't have any doubts about Real Madrid.
Even without Bellingham, I think Madrid will still be a team that is too strong for Leipzig. No matter what possible opportunities Leipzig has, Madrid will still be the favorites.
Madrid will be one of the favorite teams for the final match. Maybe it's too soon to talk about the final, but Madrid will have a chance to qualify for the next round. especially if Leipzig is unable to beat Madrid in the first leg.

Yes, Leipzig are not performing well in the Bundesliga, although they often score goals... Real, on the contrary, shows great results in La Liga and is now in first place in the standings... I think that Leipzig can not win today, but I do not exclude that this match can be a draw...
If assumed we are talking about another club and Leipzig I will say probably win will be difficult for them, but it's real Madrid, with the current performance of real Madrid now even with the absent of Jude Bellingham I still have hope of winning for Madrid, Real Madrid are very good in playing champions league with that I don't have any shocking for them, they are top in Laliga table and they have good record in away matches than home matches like wise for Leipzig too having good record for home game than away game and today Leipzig are the one hosting real Madrid, this match will be tough because both teams are very good.

When it comes to the champoins league knockout stages there are teams who knows how to go about it. Real Madrid are well experienced in this competition and they are going to use that experience and knockout Leipzig. Yes Leipzig will show some resilience but in the end it will be real Madrid who will progress to the next stage. I tipping real Madrid to win tonight game. Madrid are currently inform and I don't see them jeopardizing this game.
