Serie A isn't a difficult league, but the strength of many clubs in Serie A are almost equal, this is the reason why the winner in Serie A is very unpredictable. If Inter is play in either La Liga or Premier League, I don't think they have a chance to become a champion.

Yeah, Inter was lucky in the last season, we don't know how lucky they're in this season. But facing Atletico Madrid for their first match in knockout stage is a bad luck lol.

The domestic league is different from the Champions League so you can see the maturity of a club when competing in the Champions League not only from the players in it. Inter Milan were runners-up last season and they played in the final against Manchester City, which Manchester City won in that match and emerged as champions. This season, Inter Milan's strength is much stronger than last season, but this was only proven in the domestic league because in the Champions League they had just entered the round of 16 and in the preliminary round, Inter also experienced a little interference from their challengers

This season it might be much more difficult and it depends on how they will face which team in the knock-out round and if the team they face is much stronger then Inter Milan's chances of advancing to the final round will be quite difficult?

Despite Serie A, Im apprehensive about Inter Milan's UCL chances. Their domestic record is solid, but that Benfica game showed their weaknesses. Three goals in one half are a major issue for their defense. A red flag indicates that this isnt just a terrible day. Unlike Serie A, the UCL has a different level of competition, and better teams will exploit your flaws.

Still, Im optimistic. The season's performance gives me optimism for Inter. They've demonstrated they can perform well, and if they make defensive improvements, who knows? They could beat last season's results. Big if. They must focus on such weaknesses to advance in the UCL.

If you called that serie a way not a good indicator, then how about last season? Intermilan became runner-up after it has beaten by manchester city and i think that this can also become a very good indicator to think that intermilan is even stronger compared to the last season.
Intermilan has achieved more than last season like it has been winning supercoppa and more trophies to come soon. I must say intermilan becomes the most favorite to wint he match against benfica. Intermilan can also push itself to play beyond its limit.

I agree with you that serie A is more difficult than premier league because of the competition, I believe the reason why is like that is because almost all the club on the serie A has the same performance as others which makes it very difficult for all the team on the league and in a case like that it will be very difficult for a club to be consistent because they can easily be brought down from there position.

I think it will be Manchester City. I thought so at the beginning of the season but Liverpool have become a little better so the fight for the title will be very tense.

I'm not really sure if the UEFA Champions League Final between Manchester City vs Real Madrid will be won by Manchester City. If you look at its history, Real Madrid always wins when playing in the UEFA Champions League Final. Although it is true that Manchester City's strength this season is very strong, especially as many of their main players have returned from injury, it does not guarantee that Manchester City will win again, especially if they have to face Real Madrid. Even when Manchester United returned to the Final in the 2009 season after previously winning in the 2008 season, in the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final, Manchester United lost to Barcelona in the Final.

Serie A is difficult to compare with the Premier League or La Liga, where the competition and level of teams is higher, but in the last Champions League, Inter proved that they are capable of reaching the final, maybe there was some luck in this, let's see how they repeat it this season.

The champions league will be back by next month,and the different teams that qualified from the group stage will face each other again.It is a period when we get agitated about the clubs that will win,and the clubs that will lose,but there is one team i'm tipping to lift this tittle,either Manchester City,or Real Madrid.But if those two teams should go to the finals,then Mancity will win the league again making it two in a row.
They have their best players back from injury now,which are  Debruyne and Doku,these two players are really important to City at the moment,and their presence in a match final will give them an edge over their opponent.

Who did he want actually? I read he wants Halland, Pogba, etc in the past[1]. If that is true I think that's really too demanding considering their financial situation. He should give a list of alternatives if he really wants to play with a system that needs them. He seems to know about this though, which is why he probably uses young players or agrees on free transfers so that the club can fix their situation first[2]. Other reports suggest he is looking for a "10" or more defenders hence why they signed another defender on free transfer[3]. Looking at this situation, I think the management can't do much until a few years later after their financial situation stabilizes and the fans need to be more patient. I'd say another proper season is probably the last gamble they can take with Xavi as long as they can get quality players.

They managed to score only 2 goals in their last 2 matches[4]. I don't watch most of their game but some pundits that I follow stated that Bayern doesn't play as well as last season. Would you agree with that assessment? Their title race with Leverkusen is definitely a good motivation to get back into form and play their best in the Champions League just in case they fail to win the league. That sounds really weird to say, but I'd argue their fans would be more than happy to win the UCL if it means losing the Bundesliga.

I believe that Inter will still advance even to the semifinals and it seems that comparing the performance of each team in each different domestic league will make it increasingly difficult to determine the fate of each team in advancing to the higher rounds. Maybe it's true that we can't measure the strength of a team because every team that competes in the Champions League is a difficult game to predict and the team that is the favorite will always have a greater chance of qualifying.

I don't think the Serie A is a good indicator of Inter Milan strength although it shows something.I think the fact that Inter conceded 3 goals in a single half when playing against Benfica showed quite some big vulnerabilities in their defense which they need to fix or at least greatly improved or it will be very difficult for them.I think they will qualify for the next round but from there on I am not sure if they will be capable of moving forward like they did last year when they reached the final.

There is an opportunity for Real Madrid to get treble treble-winner this season, they have already won one title and for the Laliga champions it is only a matter of time before they replace Girona in top standings, what's more, they still have one match postponed against the Getafe team which can be said to be not as good as Real Madrid, so they won 3 points it's not a difficult thing for Real Madrid, and one more title that they are very likely to win is the Champions League.
The Champions League will be the most prestigious title for Real Madrid and it will be their 15th title in the Champions League.

Just like you rightly pointed out, none of the teams which are considered as the favorites to win the UEFA Champions League competition this season is currently leading the league standings in their respective leagues and that's to tell you how competitive the current campaign have been to top clubs in Europe. Manchester City will face a strong resistance from Liverpool as they continue to fight for the English Premier League title, Bayern Munich also faces strong battle from a very in-form Bayer Leverkusen, Real Madrid will have to deal with a very consistent Girona and Inter Milan will battle it out with a significantly improved Juventus.

Maybe the LaLiga title is very important but the Champions League title will be a priority for Real Madrid so it is very likely that in the LaLiga match Real Madrid will still experience a little instability because they will prepare themselves for the CL match which will start soon.
So it is not surprising that Real Madrid extended their contract with Ancelotti because they really want to reclaim the CL title.
The only big problem for Real Madrid is that they don't have a pure striker, while their toughest opponent is only Manchester City, which has a reliable striker.

It's quite strange to see bookies rarely mentioning intermilan as one of strongest candidate to get UCL this season. It was going to the final last season but bookies have been favoring arsenal which was failed in europa league last year as one of favorite club to win UCL this season.
There's something wrong happened with bookies. I would like to see that intermilan to go to the final. It's caused by many parties were underestimating intermilan at this moment.

People were rarely mentioning the name of intermilan as favorite club to win UCL this season. Im seeing this one has big potential to win UCL after it was losing against manchester city last season.

Inter Milan has appeared impressive and consistent so far in Serie A because they have won 16 matches, 3 draws and 1 loss in 20 matches so Inter Milan is still the favorite to compete for the title. In Serie A, Inter Milan only has 1 big competitor, namely Juventus, but in terms of productivity, Inter Milan is superior to Juventus, even though currently Juventus is in first place, it does not rule out the possibility that Inter Milan can take over that position in the 21st match week.
