I believe PSG owners will give Mbappe a lucrative contract that will make him remain at PSG for some years. PSG has spent so much money on players to win the UEFA Champions League, but they have failed to do that. But I believe if PSG owners sign Zinedine Zidane, he will guide them to Uefa Champions League glory.
provides benefits in financial terms, but in terms of Mbappe career future, PSG owners are unable to provide guarantees that Mbappe will be able to have a prestigious career and get a title at UCL.
and everything you say has actually been answered yourself, that even if you keep Mbappe or spend a lot of money to buy star players, it still won't change PSG future to be more beautiful unless PSG management is committed to retaining the coach for several seasons and not always changing the coach quickly.
so the problem is not just who the PSG coach is, but the real problem is that PSG management often does not give the coach a chance when they fail to win the UCL title, whereas a coach has to take a long time to manage the players to become more prepared and stronger to face strong opponents in the UCL but unfortunately PSG management doesn't have this kind of thinking so it's a waste of appointing Zidane as coach if he ends up being fired without being given a second or third chance.

previously, PSG had made an offer to Zidane, but the coach rejected the offer because he realized that building a very strong team takes a long time, not just one season, and if he failed, he would definitely be fired and his reputation would suffer because he was deemed to have failed to make a contribution to PSG.

This Manchester City we saw so far in this season was far from the good form they had in the past and they were getting bad results. Manchester City is a team they are very much dependent on its players and it seems without some players like Kevin De Bruyne they will have a bad performance and you saw in the last games we saw from Manchester City while they had De Bruyne they got much better results and that's why I think this team is not in the good firm this time and they are far from the good days they had in the past.
I'm quite curious about what will happen to Manchester City if Kevin De Bruyne leaves and it will probably be their worst period of the season. We know that Kevin De Bruyne is no longer young and it is likely that he will stay at Manchester City for at least another two seasons. If Pep Guardiola was still the coach of Manchester City during that period, he should have looked for another player to replace Kevin De Bruyne because this season alone they are having a hard time winning in the domestic league without his presence, who is injured.

In the Champions League everything will be much more difficult than in the domestic league and therefore Manchester City must be able to take advantage of Kevin De Bruyne's comeback to support good results and at the same time strengthen their steps to the next round. However, something undesirable, such as experiencing another injury for Kevin De Bruyne, will definitely make it difficult for Manchester City to defend its title again.

That's exactly the point. Kevin De Bruyne is a key player in Manchester City and currently, he is even more than just a key player in this team because Kevin De Bruyne's performance in Manchester City makes this team win or lose a match and if they lose Kevin De Bruyne, they can't have good performance anymore. you just saw in the games when they didn't have Kevin De Bruyne because he got injured, Manchester City had a bad situation in the Premier League and I think if they don't have Kevin De Bruyne, Manchester City will easily fail the Champions League.

Manchester City last season can’t be compared to this season after what they’ve faced in this season that caused the a setback in the league. Most of their talented players that will move the team to the next level are out on injury for a very long time and it affected their games very well. Now that they’re back, I anticipate that they’ll be having a smooth season henceforth and improving their rankings on the standing ahead to finish in a better position.

But I don't think City will be able to back to back Champions this season. Injuries to key players will greatly affect their performance even though they have recovered from injury. City is currently not as strong as last season. I think Real Madrid will get the treble winner this season. They have already won the Supercoppa Espana, then they are huge favorites to win La Liga. And they are the best team and have a big chance to become champions in my opinion. They appeared very solid and had a winning mentality even though there was a lot of pressure on them after Benzema left.
It is always difficult to predict who will be able to win the Champions League every season, defending chmpions Manchester City have also shown a setback, yes even though it is not a very far decline, but still their superiority is no longer visible this season. On the other hand, many teams are starting to improve, Real Madrid is not like last season, they have made many improvements this season and it is a real threat to any team when Real Madrid is in a very good state.
I wouldn't rule out Manchester City defending the title, but to be honest it's very difficult to do. It's not as easy as you might think.

Nothing really changed with Manchester city except that they did had a few injured players which were actually their key player even still they haven't had really bad results, they have won a few and also lost a few games too so it's not really rational to think they changed that much, there's a norm with every team when it has to do with players dependency, player dependency is actually inevitable in any team and that doesn't mean without such a player the team will not be able to still perform well but when such players are around there's always a difference in their performance and that was what Manchester city experienced in the past weeks with their form and performance, all along without bruyne Manchester city had won games and still performed well him been in the team is an added advantage for better performance.

The only time Manchester city's form worsen was when doku and haland also got injured that was enough players to affect the team, bruyne's injury alone didn't affect the team that much because they were able to win tough games in his absence, Manchester city isn't a one player dependent team.

We are getting close to last 16 phase as there is less than a month left for the first matches to be underway.  Smiley

In this phase honestly the most competitive matchups that I can see are Inter vs Atletico Madrid and Napoli vs Barcelona.

About the Inter vs Atletico Madrid one I see Inter one step ahead. Bookmakers have given the same odds for these teams when it comes to playing in the finale - 10.00. It is surely going to be a close one but if Inter manage to defeat them at Giuseppe Meazza I don't think they would lose this round to them. Especially players such as Lautaro Martinez, Hakan Calhanoglu and Barella are key players to help them this season.  Smiley

About the Napoli vs Barcelona one I see Napoli ahead even though bookmakers have given 6.50 odds for Barcelona while giving 17.00 odds for Napoli when it comes to playing in the finale. They see Barcelona too powerful against Napoli which is I don't agree with. You must have seen Barcelona's last condition. I don't think they would be able to get past Napoli obstacle that easy.  Sad

Paris Saint-German has tried to win the UEFA Champions League trophy since they signed Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but they failed to win it, and that also made them sign Messi, and they still failed to win the UEFA Champions League trophy. PSG should try to build a team and leave buying star players who will not even help them win the UEFA Champions League trophy.
Whatelse are PSG looking for? They're the ones that persuaded the big names and escorted out of the Parc des Princes stadium and why are they're all complaining. They're always winning top spot and becoming a more vigilant club. The club's winning the UCL title are important but it will take more time, definitely not with the current squad because there are quite significant factors that would hinder PSG from climbing the top. The trophy season is here but its not considered the major titles. This season, Paris Saint-Germain have become vulnerable, mere facing Newcastle United, they lost heavily in your hands.
Yes, however they try, it is an effort they make to be able to continue to compete at a league level that is higher than the domestic league that they can win continuously every season, and yes maybe that is also one of the only benefits they get when recruiting star players to join them, in addition to increasing the team's performance also increases the popularity of PSG itself.

But yes they are quite difficult to compete in the UCL even though every year they have star players in their squad, because basically even star players will not be strong enough to bring a team to win matches if they do not have teammates who have good chemistry and ability to pursue how the star players play heroic on the field.

In my opinion, PSG is just wasting their money to buy first-class players, but the results of winning the European League have never happened, but only the League Champion is always achieved without strong competitors from the French League, here it is very clear that PSG  only raises the Club's name by purchasing expensive players and does not focus on building the club, so it is not surprising that PSG always fails in winning European Cups such as the Champions League or other prestigious trophies, even though they have a president who is very generous in purchasing players, the results they achieve  just in vain.
Every team has a different way of building their team and indeed PSG chose the wrong path because they didn't want to go through the process and rely on the power of money they have to buy star players and hope they will achieve achievements on the European stage, that's the wrong thing and Even Mancheter City used to be like that before they finally went through such a long process that it was only last season that they managed to become CUL champions.
Likewise with PSG at the moment, especially because in the French League there are no fierce competitors so PSG cannot measure its strength.

Even though PSG has not won the UEFA Champions League trophy, they are a team to be afraid of when playing against in the UEFA Champions League. In the modern-day UEFA Champions League, it is only Real Madrid that has won the UEFA Champions League back-to-back, so it will be a little bit hard for Manchester City to follow Real Madrid's full steps.
Who scared with PSG lol, it just the fans that think they're strong because they can dominate in Ligue 1. PSG isn't a strong club, yeah they can beat Aston Villa, Dortmund, Roma, or any other mediocre clubs in top domestic leagues, but it's not enough to beat Bayern Munich, Inter, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

Imagine if Mbappe leaving PSG, I think people will stop favoring PSG in International league.
It is very likely that this will happen and not only that, but Ligue 1 will also very likely lose a lot of viewers broadcast internationally because one of its attractions is no longer in the league and PSG will also lose a lot of income from merchandise sales because PSG became even more famous when Kylian Mbappe played there.

In the Champions League, we can be sure that PSG will always get a spot every season because in the league they will still be the strongest, but their presence in the Champions League will be counted as an average team which might cause surprises but will not always get a place as the favorite team.

With the financial power that the club has, it is still possible for PSG to turn this team into a stronger one in europe competitions even without Mbappe's presence, but that will take a long time because no success can be achieved instantly.

But who are these players then after they bought Neymar, Messi and Mbappe? I think it can't get any better than that if we talk about star players that they could buy. I think there isn't much they can do from here. But let's assume that their goal would be to bring in a whole new set of star players, who are these players then?
Sometimes the problem may not lay within the players but with the club but the management may fail to understand this and because they are financially capable they keep buying more and more players who will come receive pay check and go without achieving that which the team did bought them for .

If PSG keeps buying new sets of players more like a continuous overhauling, how then can they build a team that can be formidable enough to stand the teat of times. The basics of a good and strong team isn't in buy new players every season but building these players just like Dortmund does only that Dortmund is in a contentious habit of selling them off if not with their building skill they would have had one of the best team across Europe, rather than scouting for new players to buy for the team, PSG should focus on building the ones they have already and in few years to come they will be ready to lift the champions league.

Despite everything that is going on, we will still win this trophy. Even though some injuries affected our performance last season, we did perform much better than we did this season. One thing I love about the city is that we always find a way to make up for our mistakes and are able to adapt to any kind of situation. Now that De Bruyne is back, performance will improve. You are aware that he is capable of both scoring goals and providing assists, which sets him apart from other players. And we still have other talented players in our roster besides De Bruyne.

Embarrassed
I'm quite curious about what will happen to Manchester City if Kevin De Bruyne leaves and it will probably be their worst period of the season. We know that Kevin De Bruyne is no longer young and it is likely that he will stay at Manchester City for at least another two seasons. I am aware that Kevin De Bruyne is doing well, but if he does leave, there will likely be a replacement who may even be better than him. Pep is astute and will have anticipated what would happen in De Bruyne's absence, so he will begin making plans to acquire a player who is far superior to De Bruyne because we cannot continue to rely too heavily on De Bruyne; otherwise, things will not work out. therefore the sooner the better for us. is returning at this time will genuinely provide outcomes. and champions league am waiting for us bag both the two trophies that is talking about the premier leagues and the champions league.

If you look at it from a financial and player perspective, PSG doesn't have any problems because this club has what it needs, but perhaps because of the lack of training and strategy, PSG finds it difficult to build performance playing in bigger competitions such as the Champions League, while their performance is only strong in the domestic league. and always win titles easily in own league. Even having star players like Messi and Naymar not that meaningful much because PSG's performance is still the same in the Champions League.

Sometimes a club thinks that if they have quality players they can improve the performance of the players and that is what is in PSG's mind, namely always changing players by buying good players but not trying to improve the performance of all the players and only relying on the star players to be able to bring PSG to the title what is expected, but if you only rely on star players, PSG will never be able to get it if all the players cannot help the star players. So PSG must start learning not to continue wasting money buying players PSG must be able to improve all players while as long as you still have Mbappe at the club.

Let's be honest, the only reason why City and Inter played the finals was because City and Madrid faced each other at semi finals, if it was city or Madrid that played against Inter during the semi finals, then it would be City vs Madrid finals. Which is exactly what I really want to see, it would be awesome to see them play against each other in the finals, that would really be awesome.

It would also be epic because it would be just one game, semi finals could be a bit different because there is a chance you can recover for the second game, but if it is the finals then it is just one game and you have to win that game. I believe it would be coming down to that, Real, who won the most UCL in the recent periods (and all together) and City, who arguably people say the best team in the recent years, all battling it out for one final game.

True, I haven't forgotten what you're saying.
It's no coincidence that last year, last season, I said that the real final was Real Madrid vs Manchester City
if you look at the history of my messages I affirm it, but this year I generally see everyone more aggressive and prepared, which is why I say that there is more competition for Pep Guardiola.
You'll see, it will reflect on the beauty of the matches

Now PSG might even be abandoned by Mbappe after his contract expires at the end of this season. Unless PSG is able to convince Mbappe to renew his contract there. But it is a shame that PSG have never won the UCL title even with the star players they have had in past seasons. Neymar then Messi and Mbappe. even the three of them worked together on the front lines but they still failed. Maybe PSG should start making other approaches to improve their performance and be better in the future. It seems that being a strong club is not only possible with good players. But other things are also needed. Man City successfully won its first UCL title last season. And I hope PSG will also get it in the future. But I don't think that's for this season. Because this season PSG still seems to be having difficulties, they even had quite a hard time in the group stage. Even though they eventually escaped.

They are a big club who will have it hard winning the champions league before and this present season.  They have some difficulties keeping  their best player around as he has his sight set elsewhere.
Fighting and winning the League already too much now they have to sacrifice one for another. The Champions league comes first up this season and the coach is doing his very best to make sure they go far at this level.
They did not start the season well and at that point in the season,  Newcastle was in a good and better position to win.

even thought I also like Man City, I dont expect this team to win the title in the UCL, but I rather hope that Real Madrid can get the title because if Man City gets another title it will be boring on the one hand I am one of the people who really Like Real Madrid in depth, the performance of these two teams is very balanced, but we have to remember that Real Madrid is one of the most experienced teams in the UCL and I am sure that Madrid can win another title this season.
It is funny that you don't want Man City to win the UCL title although you are the fan of Man City.  Grin
Real Madrid looks strong enough to win UCL title this season, but Man City also has the chance to win it. Man City still has quality squad, they are very capable to defeat any team in UCL. Moreover, the injury players of Man City have recovered, only Haaland who is still injured. So, why you must exclude Man City from the candidate of UCL winner this season?

If we consider the squad depth, Man City also has good squad depth. They also have experienced players and coach. There is no different with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich. So I still believe that Man City also still has the chance to be the champion.
He just hopes Mancity doesn't win so the tournament won't be too boring Smiley) . I also hope so even though Mancity is the team with the highest championship percentage. With the recovery of its force, Mancity is returning to its track both in the Premier League and UCL. So, in theory, eliminating Mancity as a candidate for the championship is flawed, but in my heart, I hope another team will take the throne.
If chosen, I hope Arsenal will make a difference this season. Bayer is also a formidable opponent that few people bet on their ability to win. Their squad is quite balanced with a stable playing style and the extremely high form of the duo Kane and Musiala can defeat all opponents at the present time

Mancity are back and they will be up competing again for the premier league tittle, they have Debruyne back again, and I believe the presence of Debruyne has a lot to do with the entire team. They are back to get some games played without losing or drawing. The last game they played against Newcastle,I thought they were going to lose, but they showed that they are back to their best, they came from behind,to win that game 2:3 away. As it stands, they are now the favourite for that tittle again,Arsenal cannot win the premier league this season again because they are five points behind the league leaders Liverpool.

Last season Real Madrid and Bayern Munich won most of their matches in the UEFA Champions League, and Bayern Munich even knocked out PSG, but when Bayern Munich and Real Madrid played Manchester City they couldn't perform well.
It's not that Bayern Munich and Real Madrid couldn't perform well when facing Manchester City, but because last season Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were not as good as Manchester City until Manchester City managed to get their first trophy in the Champions League last season. Meanwhile, PSG still hasn't experienced the beauty of winning the Champions League and the sweetness of a trophy in the Champions League, but this season I'm still not sure that Manchester City can repeat the same thing.
