Manchester City's performance is very good, so in my opinion, I don’t think Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are going to be problems for Manchester City, although I obviously know that these two teams are very good and their performances are going well. But I think Manchester City is quite doing well when compared to these two teams, which are Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. However, Gaurdiola is a very good manager; he has different strategies for his squad when playing, and it always favours them. Therefore, I think Manchester City will be challenging for these teams.

Again, Manchester City winning last season doesn’t mean they won't be able to do better and win title again. We know that the reason why these teams have been shining since the beginning of the season is due to the absence of Manchester City key players. Now that they are back, everyone is saying that they will be the favourites because we know that if Halaand and Kelvin De Bryune are around, the Manchester City squad is good to go.

If we think about Bayern Munich and Real Madrid's performances so far it has been like this:

- Bayern Munich finished Group A with almost maximum amount of points. They won 5 matches and got a draw. But were they actually impressive in most of their matches? To be honest I don't think so. If you watched their matches for example they struggled quite much in some matches against Galatasaray and Copenhagen. But their quality was still enough to win. But if they maintain the same performance Manchester City can eliminate them.

- When it comes to Real Madrid they have had a really good run until this point. They won against Napoli in even both matches and completed Group C with 6 wins.  Smiley  I see them as the biggest threat to Manchester City at the moment. They are better this season with the help of Bellingham as well.

Im pretty sure that PSG will buy "star" players if they failed again this year (UCL).
PSG has offered a crazy contract 3 times bigger than Madrid bid to Mbappe, the club financial must be healthy.
This year might be not the year for PSG, but next year will be different.
Every year is always different, because this can be seen through every season played by all teams in any league and for PSG. It seems like they can only hope for trophies in their own local league, while the Champions League trophy is still very difficult because here there are still many obstacles that PSG must overcome. Apart from that, PSG has also had three stars for their attack line in previous seasons, but PSG has also never succeeded in the Champions League.

Talking about winning tradition in the champions league, PSG and Bayern Munich are yet to have a consecutive winning tradition in the champions league enough to to lay them side by side with Manchester city and Real Madrid who have set historic records with the number of the champions league they have won.

If Manchester city win the the champions league this season again it will be twice in a row which I'm sure PSG or Bayern Munich has not attempted in the history of the UCL , Bayern Munich and PSG back in their various domestic leagues do have a good record of their performance so far which is undeniably brilliant as they both have dominance in their domestic league just that this season Bayern Munich has got a good contender for their dominance in their domestic league, champions league has got a very different form of competitiveness all together so they definitely can't be performing in like manner as their domestic league.
Bayern Munich won the Champions League title several seasons ago, while PSG have never been able to win it even though they have played in the final. A winning mentality is something that PSG need to improve if they want to win the title, but squad depth is also very important.

After all, this is Luis Enrique's first season with PSG in the Champions League. I can think that Enrique has a chance to take PSG to the quarter-finals or maybe the semifinals, but I'm not completely sure that PSG will reach the final this season. They have to try, but everyone also admits that PSG really struggles every season.

if champion league still dificult can back to back manchester city this season.
There are still strong teams with many stars and winning traditions in the champion league. for example there are real madrid, bayern munchen. PSG, although it is not the first tier superior team, should also be aware of the many star players there including Mbappe. although PSG does not have a winning tradition in the champion league. but still need to be aware.

PSG only has Mbappe as a star player and the rest are only good players they managed to get last summer. But I also don't forget that at PSG there is one player who has lifted the champions league trophy 3 times in his previous team and that is Marco Asensio. He was an important player at that time at Real Madrid and his supersub abilities also had quite an important impact on Real Madrid's Champions League hat trick from 2016 to 2018.

But what is clear is that the rest of the PSG squad is filled with players who have little experience in the Champions League and I doubt that PSG can be a threat to the clubs that hold this tradition. PSG might be dangerous but that didn't come until the semifinals and I don't think all the teams considered whether they would get their first Champions League title.
And for that reason, psg is unwilling to let go of mbappe since he is currently at their best, knows what he needs to do as a player, and is genuinely making an effort. and it appears that other players are depending on him because of his talent, speed, and good scoring sense. The problem is that the entire PSG is now looking up to Mbappe, and when he returned from the World Cup, he was even better than before. However, if he had simply gone to Madrid, he would have had the opportunity to win the Champions League. Marco Asensio actual is also doing a good job but not as mbappe now who his on his way to becoming a legend. majority of psg players lack experience but the more they play the more they are getting experience.

But who are these players then after they bought Neymar, Messi and Mbappe? I think it can't get any better than that if we talk about star players that they could buy. I think there isn't much they can do from here. But let's assume that their goal would be to bring in a whole new set of star players, who are these players then?

PSG are said to have offered a huge contract to Mbappe which is worth 100 million euros. If this is true it is going to be a really huge improvement in case he accepts the offer.  Smiley  Because he makes 72 million euros per year on his current contract - which goes up to 132 million euros with bonuses.

But would he accept it? I still want to believe in Mbappe not to choose PSG over Real Madrid.

I think that Real Madrid is the best place for Mbappe to carry his career to next level. PSG chairman Nasır el-Halifi said that the best place for him is PSG but it is normal to hear such thing from him.  Grin  He is ready to spend whatever amount is needed to convince Mbappe. But another rich and more successful team can also give what Mbappe wants anyway.  Smiley

Not sure about other rich clubs or teams will be willing to pay as much for Mbappe like PSG did because after all, other rich teams for example like Real Madrid can also still be successful even without Mbappe . So ya, maybe with such considerations, Real Madrid will no longer have a strong interest in signing Mbappe this moment . Because ya, if PSG has offered a large salary increase for Mbappe then yes, I personally quite sure that Mbappe will accept . Because anyway, if Mbappe is aware of an achievement then of course Mbappe has left from the last transfer window too. But yes, what happens is Mbappe prefers to stay at PSG because he gets a lot of money at PSG and it looks like it will happen again in this transfer window.

Let's be honest, the only reason why City and Inter played the finals was because City and Madrid faced each other at semi finals, if it was city or Madrid that played against Inter during the semi finals, then it would be City vs Madrid finals. Which is exactly what I really want to see, it would be awesome to see them play against each other in the finals, that would really be awesome.

It would also be epic because it would be just one game, semi finals could be a bit different because there is a chance you can recover for the second game, but if it is the finals then it is just one game and you have to win that game. I believe it would be coming down to that, Real, who won the most UCL in the recent periods (and all together) and City, who arguably people say the best team in the recent years, all battling it out for one final game.
The ideal final is one that brings together two favorite teams, where we as fans will see equal strengths, fighting to win the most prestigious trophy in Europe. So far Manchester City, Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen are the teams most favored by most bettors, because for many factors these three teams have what it takes to win the trophy. Both in terms of squad depth, head coach and mentality, I think these three factors really influence the chances of realizing their dreams and ambitions, so in my opinion these three clubs really deserve to be superior to most of the other contestants. Of course, without underestimating other teams, the fact is that we can see that currently these three clubs are performing consistently, both here and in their respective domestic leagues.

The competition to be the best in this season Champions League will resume in mid February, with many things expected to happen before the round of 16 begins. There is an opportunity for other teams to improve their performance, because we know the transfer window is still open, and they can look for instant solutions there. The most frequent challenge is injury to key players, it could be that the three favorite clubs will be eliminated early, If their key players are absent, I think the luck of their efforts to win trophies lies in that. So the ideal final that we hope for cannot happen, and there is a possibility that a team that is not the favorite could advance to the final.

Last season, Man City maybe was able to beat both of them. Because last season Ral Madrid and Bayern were not in good enough condition. But this season I think something is different. Because Real Madrid and Bayern this season really look more solid than last season. Meanwhile, Man City has had many problems this season. De Bruyne has also just recovered and has returned to playing and indeed he can immediately return to his best performance. But Haaland hasn't returned yet, but I haven't heard any news about when Haaland will return. Even though there are lots of rumors circulating that Haaland might be able to return at the end of January, I'm still not sure whether he will immediately return to his best performance or not.

De Bruyne can immediately return to his best performance but we still don't know about Haaland. So this season the UCL will probably be fiercer than last season. Unless Haaland returns and remains in good form then Man City's chance of winning the UCL title again could indeed happen again.

Inter Milan is also something to be reckoned with. Because this season Inter Milan also looks stronger than last season. And Serie A clubs are sometimes difficult to predict. And can always make other strong teams overwhelmed when facing them.
By February the knock out stage for the UCL will kick off and for some teams, it'll be an easy slide through regardless of the notion of the strongest teams being the ones able to scale into this stage. City and Copenhagen would go against each other and it's very much clear that City would be the survivors.
Their key men are back and set to run and definitely that's enough charge to weigh down Copenhagen.

Yes, in their home ground, they may try to put up a battle but I'm certain that City will be capable to overturn them. They're way ahead of them in capacity and ability too. As always, the round of 16 will have as much fun as there can be in it and it's greatly anticipated. Preparations and games would definitely be intense too. That's why there's the winter window, for clubs to strengthen their squad depth ahead of competition like this, cause it going to get tougher and the wicker teams would definitely get kicked out.

Manchester City should be able to get very deep in the Champions League competition. Manchester City is a good team. And I believe Manchester City should be able to beat the competition that they have till the semi-finals at least. Now Manchester City definitely has the capability.

The question is, are they going to be able to be consistent enough to do that? I think they should. But they have definitely been a little inconsistent in this season. So it might be possible that they do not reach the semi-finals. But I highly believe that Manchester City should not get knocked out before that.  If anything that is definitely going to make the competition a lot more uninteresting.

Back-to-back title is quite possible for Manchester City when we think about it on paper. Because technically they have one of the best squads in Europe now. And they are playing according to Guardiola's really solid system as well. However this task is still going to be quite difficult for them at the same time.

The reason why is that they have really challenging opponents such as Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. Manchester City won the title for the first time in their history previously. It would be really challenging to retain the title against these more experienced teams.  Smiley  De Bruyne and Haaland are needed as a duo for Manchester City from now on to increase their chance.
Manchester City winning the Champions League trophy back-to-back this season is possible because Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are the real threats to Manchester City. Manchester City beat Real Madrid and Bayern Munich last season to reach the UEFA Champions League final, and Manchester City can still beat Real Madrid and Bayern Munich this season.
Never say never. Manchester city was among the strongest clubs in the UCL. We shall we feel worry about this. As long as city will not be facing or bayern munich and it will be possible for city to get the UCL again this season. The chance is pretty big since de bruyne was coming back again.
This is a good news for manchester city and yeah we shall not forget that if haaland will be back again next month. The chance for manchester city to take UCL this season becomes even bigger than before. Im quite happy by seeing fuardiola said this on his latest interview.

Im feeling very good to say manchester city will be winning UCL this season. There will be no club can prevent haaland and de bruyne once they will be playing together. Halaand was just winning his first UCL on the first season he played for manchester city.
There will be a lot of surprises to come soon. This is gonna be very interesting competition to watch. City was always lucky in getting easy team as its opponent. Copenhagen was nothing for manchester city. '

Im not doubting the chance of city to get UCL this season. The club is performing far better than before and i can't even wait haaland to comeback again soon. He was a disaster for the whole clubs in UCL.
Don't forget that the defending king of the Champions League is Real Madrid. He may have lost against Man City in the final last season. But they always learn from past mistakes. Of course they won't want to lose if they enter the final against Man City again.
Real Madrid's mentality is certainly superior, especially now that Real Madrid is in top performance even though it is without several core players who are suffering from injuries such as Alaba, Curtois, Militao.
But I still respect Man City, which also has the best duo in Europe at the moment, namely KDB and Haaland.

Manchester cit was in the same level as real madrid. No doubt city has big chance like madrid to get back-to-back UCL again this season. Im doubting other club like munich and PSG. These clubs are still performing so poorly and they have no good performance in UCL.
Bayern was always failed and PSG was even worst than it caused by this club never got UCL before. Im thinking that the scenario will always be the same, real madrid/manchester city will be winning the competition.

I don't even see worthy competitor for city and madrid. These clubs are performing crazily in any league. City with its consistency and madrid with its best club in the world. I hope i can see that the match between real madrid vs manchester city in the future.
Mbappe will leave soon caused by PSG will be also failed. There is no need to worry about him.

UEFA champion league will be owning by real madrid or manchester city. These clubs are the most capable club to go to the final compared with anyother clubs participated in the UCL.

Every season we have fierce competition for the title in Champions League with there is nothing new but this time we have few teams which are at the same level and also having enough quality to give tough fight to Manchester City which is defending champions with Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are toughest and Inter Milan and few others are also doing good preparation before start of the knock-out rounds.

Right now, any prediction is not possible because things are not favourable for any with any team can bring surprise specially while we have few which are playing as dark horse even these clubs are not in hot favourite list but still things can go into their favour after winning this round matches.
few but more than last year, last year only Inter and Real Madrid were up to Manchester City
This year, however, I think there are more teams that are up to Pep Guardiola's team, so I think it's a much more interesting season than the previous one.

or better i hope because i love fight on football Cheesy

Last season real Madrid and Bayern Munich aren't the same bro, changes is bound to happen and this time around the table might turn. If you were saying this thing like a month ago I would have argued with you vividly because the Manchester city that was playing was really shaky to even play with the might of real Madrid and harry Kane Bayern Munich but seeing that the magnificent Belgium has resumed game time and I would not that Manchester city will defeat Bayern and also real Madrid because the presence of Kevin changes alot of things.
City were just as dangerous without De Bruyne, and I'm not sure it would have helped Real much, much less Bayern, who clearly have defensive problems. But it is impossible to evaluate teams a month ago, or several months before the match, because a lot can happen, one of the players can get injured, someone can return to the game, this will also affect the team. And which of these teams will be stronger is difficult to answer, I think it will be either Real or City.
If we compare Manchester City's performance with last season, this season they look more shaky not as promising as last season. Real Madrid on the other hand, they have been able to improve their game and look better this season, so their chances are greater when compared to last season.
Will they face each other again this season? I hope so, and I hope it's in the final. The previous 2 seasons, Manchester City had to recognize the superiority of Real Madrid and more painfully they were defeated when victory was in sight. Last season they were able to get their revenge on Real Madrid. I hope they meet again this season and present an interesting game, Real Madrid will definitely want to avenge their revenge they received last season.

Manchester City last season were absolutely unstoppable and looked like a perfect team that wasn't lacking in any position on the pitch while their biggest rivalries in Europe like Bayern Munich and Real Madrid weren't actually in their best and that was why they were able to easily eliminate the two European giants when they meet in the knockout stages of the UEFA champions league competition.

This season, I don't think the case is still the same because unlike last season, Real Madrid are now more formidable while Bayern Munich have added a sharp striker in Harry Kane to their squad. Manchester City also are still performing well but should they for any reason meet any of those two teams, they'll definitely not find it easy against them

I see that Manchester City seems to still be able to run without Haaland, just look at the quarter-finals, UCL semi-finals, even last season's final, he didn't seem to be a serious threat to his opponent, Haaland could barely move because he was guarded very tightly and couldn't be a goal machine while he was there. in the big round, I think KDB's return is much more awaited by Manchester city supporters and I am happy that he has recovered from injury so he can appear in the UCL round of 16 with Manchester City against Copenhage.

Inter Milan is also something to be reckoned with. Because this season Inter Milan also looks stronger than last season. And Serie A clubs are sometimes difficult to predict. And can always make other strong teams overwhelmed when facing them.
I'm not sure that Inter Milan will go smoothly again to the final this season, because their journey was very smooth last season, they didn't meet strong clubs like Munich and Madrid, so their path was relatively smooth, but even so, I want to see how strong they are this season even though It can be said that their strength has changed compared to last season, I will definitely see their game in the round of 16 against Atletico Madrid, where I think their strength is just as good.

I'm sure Atletico Madrid will be able to overthrow Inter Milan before they reach the UCL final this season, I don't mean to underestimate their strength. Currently, there are still many clubs that are more favored than Inter Milan and they are in the last 16 as well.  Grin
