Newcastle's performance began to decline due to several of its players suffering injuries. I also no longer think the Magpies will be a dark horse in this year's edition of the tournament and realistically they are still very likely to be eliminated in the Europa League playoffs instead of falling to the bottom of the group standings. But even so, I still praise Eddy Howe's performance while managing that team.
This decline Newcastle is experiencing currently I doubt if they will be able to perform well I their next champions league fixture because they will have their morale down now due to the loss they did experience already in their premier league match today.

They will be facing a tougher team in the championship league so I don't know what their mechanism for coping would be because this match in the UCL will go a long way as a determinant as to if they will qualify for the next stage or will crash out to the Europa , so they need their best an nothing as they will only be at a slight advantage of they are able to get a draw which of course isn't a better option as win is the only guarantee they can get to qualify.

Lets see how Newcastle come back from this international break, they are a very good team, the issue they have this last times were they are short on players so they started to feel really tired, and this impact so much in their performance, with this break some players can rest so lets see if they can turn the tide.

Yes Newcastle have bounced back in top form, today is quite encouraging for their club fans tonight Newcastle got full points from Chelsea, On the 29th, Newcastle will face Psg, even though this match is quite tough for them, this match will be their final determination in the Champions League, they will face each other at home to their opponent, namely Psg.

I'm not really sure Newcastle will win the match later. Ac Milan still has a good chance of getting the next ticket if they beat the last 2 matches. Group F is like a group from hell. Of course Dortmund in their final match will be against Psg. If Dortmund loses to AC Milan, of course this will be the last match of life and death for Borussia Dortmund.

I would laugh like crazy if Barcelona failed to qualify for the third year in a row, but unfortunately the likelihood of this is low. But there is an equally interesting option: Porto beats Barcelona and takes first place, and Barcelona takes second place and ends up with Bayern in the 1/8 and we are seeing a classic beating confrontation  Grin

I will just say you’re big hater of Barcelona because this wishes are too much on them. Imagine having to have them finish group runner up and then the draw comes off as Barca against Bayern Munich, i would just advice Barca then to fogey about the next around after that. But nonetheless the Bayern Munich club are not close to perfection as we have them during Robben and Ribery era, so I doubt if it will be humiliating as before. But the encounter will always be thrilling.

To some extent, I’m a hater, yes, and not only because I support Real Madrid, there are many things for which I personally don’t like Barcelona  Wink But this is beside the point. Bayern has long lost its “gloss” but even last year without Kane, experiencing big problems both in attack and defense, beat Barcelona twice with a score of 3-0. Wasn't that epic? And those memes when the draw showed that Bayern and Barcelona would be in the same group and Kahn laughing in the hall?  Cheesy

Man i think this is nearly to immposible, but yes if Barcelona failed again for third time in a row to reach the round of 16 they really need to start lloking for a witch, because it seems like a Messi cursed. This year Uefa give thems the most easy group of the history.

However, Newcastle still has a chance to get back up in Group F because Newcastle is still not too weak even though several players are injured and today Newcastle has also gained new enthusiasm by winning its match in the Premier League. And I want to see them being able to beat PSG next week in the Champions League even though PSG itself is still quite strong when playing at home this season. However, I hope Newcastle can recover and beat their opponents in this league again.

There are only 2 clubs that until the 4th match they always win, there are Bayern Munich in group A and there are Real Madrid in group C. These two clubs are certain to be in the round of 16 because the points they have are completely safe and will no longer make them displaced to 3rd place in the standings. An advantage for them, because with the certainty they have passed it means that in the remaining matches there is no longer a burden, they are just waiting for their match in the knockout round later. They can use it to rotate players so that the players can be in shape when the knockout rounds later.

But still, because they have great prestige, they will also still target three points for the remaining matches. So ya, it seems very unlikely for Real Madrid and Bayern Munich to let go to get a losing result in the remaining match. Even though they have certainly qualified for the last 16, of course Real Madrid and Bayern Munich will still play with good performance and even though they don't win, but of course a draw can still happen at least to maintain their prestige in big tournaments like in this Champion League.
It is true that there is prestige at stake for Real Madrid and Bayern Munchen, but what is clear is that both of them are still reluctant to share points in the next two remaining matches. Madrid will not let Napoli qualify as group winners, and Bayern will not help Manchester United to qualify for the round of 16. I predict that both clubs will have the ambition to qualify with a perfect winning record, which will make other clubs afraid to face them. But here we must not forget Manchester City.

Real Sociedad and Inter Milan have also confirmed themselves to qualify for the round of 16, even though they did not record a perfect victory, the number of points they have has made them qualify and will not be overtaken by other clubs in their group. For the time being, the clubs that are guaranteed to qualify can shift their focus temporarily to their respective domestic leagues, so they have more freedom to rotate players.

Personally, I'm no longer rooting for them to move to the next round besides they have unsolved Injury cases and they won't be with the same force they had when they first faced Ac Milan and won that game against league 1 giants Paris Saint Germans. Newcastle will be knocked out, I'm certain and we'll have to wait until the very end to see who qualifies between AC Milan and Borrussia Dortmund.
AC Milan head coach knows what's at stake, he was dumped out of the Champions League last season and is following dame path, he may likely lose his job if he doesn't qualifies.

I feel like Paris Saint Germans would take the top and tue second place has to be between ( Ac Milan ans Borrussia Dortmund )

I have noticed that if newcastle and acmilan have the same problems. These clubs were losing lots of their players. There was a noticeable difference in the performance between Newcastle and AC Milan. These clubs have the smallest chance to qualify for the top 16.
Im wondering the line up that is going to be used by newcastle against PSG. PSG is very strong right now while newcastle must have played with available players at this moment. More than 11 players injured and that means 1 squad was out from newcastle's main team.
The fact that Newcastle has a large number of main players injured makes it highly likely that they will not qualify for the top 16, which is a common occurrence in such situations. Im doubting these clubs will able to win against dortmund and PSG.
I have picked PSG and dortmund to win the upcoming games. My prediction newcastle will out but im not sure about acmilan. Milan is still having a chance even though it was really small.

Manchester United moved from a Champions League team to a League team. Unfortunately, the Red Devils were blown away. For them, the exit from the group is closed and they can only wait for the next season and put in unrealistic efforts so that the next season does not turn out to be just as disastrous.
If Manchester United is unable to reach second place in the Champions League group standings this season, at least Manchester United must be able to place itself in third place in the Champions League group standings so that they have the opportunity to play in the European League apart from the Premier League this season. Because the opportunity for Manchester United to re-enter the Champions League next season is only through two things, namely winning the European League or by placing itself in the Champions League zone through the Premier League.
Yes, you're right, if they can't take second place, they should at least take third place. Before the Champions League started, they were actually one of the favorites to qualify from the group stage that they shared with Bayern Munich. Because previously Galatasaray and Copenhagen were considered they could beat. But in reality this is not the case, instead they have to lose to the 2 clubs I mentioned.
Their chances are still there, I always say that, but provided they have to maximize their last 2 matches, and also the two clubs that are their competitors do not get good results.

I really do not understand how Manchester United did not finish in the first two positions from this group to be honest. Manchester United should have been in the top two and above both Copenhagen and Galatasaray. But because of all the problems that Manchester United is facing, they are not in form right now. they are pretty inconsistent. That inconsistency has cost them a lot in the Champions League competition so far. I honestly do not think they will actually be able to finish in the third position, let alone finishing in the top 2. Hoping anything good from Manchester United is just a way of getting your dreams shattered right now.

What do you think about Lens? Can really make it to last 16? Because they still have a pretty high chance for achieving that success. They have the same points with PSV at the moment. Despite being behind them anyway there are still 2 more matches to be played. The problem is that Lens couldn't get advantageous results against PSV.

After a loss and a draw against them Lens are disadvantageous in head-to-heads in case there is equal points situation at the end of the group stage.

Lens' remaining matches are against Arsenal away and against Sevilla home. They had better collect 4 points at worst.
Lens still have any chances to qualified but indeed a bit hard for them because on 5th match they have to faced Arsenal and probably the outcome of this match will be determined their position on group A because if Lens lose from Arsenal then it's really hard for them to qualified because their contender PSV has facing easy schedule because PSV only fight against Sevilla and if PSV win but Lens lose then possibly second place will belongs to PSV which mean Lens chances will be closed to advances to round of 16 and for first meeting Lens surprisingly can able to beat Arsenal at their home ground but i don't think they can able to repeat that result again especially during this season Arsenal was quite strong while playing at Emirates stadium

They'll be knocked out, they'll be facing Arsenal on Wednesday at home and I'm rooting for Arsenal since they need that win to go top of the group to avoid tough Competition into the round of sixteen. They have no chance against Arsenal.
Against Sevilla, they'll have to fight to beat Sevilla. Lol. If Sevilla gather four points they will likely return to their best Competition! The Europa League Competition and they'll have the right mentality as always. That trophy has got to ne their birth right.

I don't know why Newcastle United are rushing Isak into the game, this is a player that just returned. In the long run he'll break down and they'll be at the wrong side. Eddie Howe ain't handling shit well this season.

Looking forward to the clash at the Parc de Princes between PSG and Newcastle.
The PSG fans will definitely be coming in with a lot of energy to spur the team to success and will have at the back of their mind the experience their team went through at the away fixture.

Both teams are playing tough matches this weekend, against Monaco and Chelsea and will have to commit energy to that before refocusing to the Champions league, PSG have the benefit of playing a day earlier, we will see if that plays a role in Tuesday's fixture.

- Jay -

PSG's probability is higher than Newcastle in the fifth matchday match. both based on betting odds, and as the home team. apart from that, if we refer to their performance in their respective domestic leagues. In the first meeting, for me it was purely Enrique's mistake when developing his tactics and strategy.
Currently, PSG is playing their match against Monaco and three points is the result they must get. plus, motivating when Paris Saint Germain hosts Newcastle in the fifth matchday meeting of the Champions League group phase.

In fact, this match will be a real challenge for Newcastle as the away team, they will try to go all out to get full points at the Parc des Princess. not an easy match, especially technically and tactically, I think PSG is much better. If Newcastle fails, it means they will be eliminated in this group phase. in the other match in the Group E phase, it will be no less exciting and interesting. Dortmund and AC Milan will both be fighting each other to win in order to determine their chances of progressing to the next phase.
Sincerely, Im still holding out hope for Newcastle in their upcoming game against PSG. Actually, the odds and the fact that PSG is playing at home do make things look better for them. They have a loaded lineup full of stars, and they've done well in local leagues. Not to mention Newcastle's surprising win in the first match, though. David vs. Goliath, but football is always surprising, right? With Newcastle's back against the wall, teams often do something surprising. That kind of pressure can turn into motivation because they're trying to stay in the Champions League. Their performance in this high-stakes game, especially against a technically better team like PSG, interests me.

There is a real possibility that United could be fully gone, they could finish the group fourth place as well. They are going to play against Galatasaray, who they lost to before at their home game, so it wouldn't be the most shocking thing in the world to lose to them at away game too, and they are going to play Bayern as well, which they could definitely lose too.

That is a possibility and could happen, Galatasaray will play both, and if they win United and tie Copenhagen, and Copenhagen loses to Bayern and ties Galatasaray, that means United will be fourth and gone. I am not saying this will happen, there is of course still a chance that they could go up, but that doesn't mean that they may not as well, there is a very real possibility that they could be fourth and gone, and that's not good for them at all.
United's Champions League display has made them prone to disqualification, they've not been able to meet their contest objectives and they've been lacking points too, their next game against Galatasaray looks threatening because at the moment, they're a less better team than Galatasaray and after which, they'd play Bayern Munich which is certainly going to be another loss for them.

It's so sad because now they won't even get the chance to switch to the Europa League and they'll be left to battle our their domestic league game, only if Manchester United as a team would work on themselves, and make efforts to righting the errors that they're faced with, only then will they stand a chance of even coming up a bit but its likely too late for them as it concerns their UCL contest, their corrections and work should be put in place ahead of their league game.

I'm expecting same two to three goals when Paris Saint Germans host the visitors Newcastle United. Newcastle cannot even win against Chelsea tommorow and they expect a win against PSG? Thats a very big joke!
Newcastle have got to be the very first team that will be knocked out of Group F. The group of hell now seems predictable as the group stage gets to an end.

Does this mean we have to eliminate Newcastle here? And the chances of qualifying for the next round are between Milan, Dortmound and PSG? I think it's too early to predict Newcastle will lose. Newcastle has much better goal statistics than Chelsea with 27 goals and 13 goals conceded. They still have a chance to qualify for the next round and although I admit it will be very difficult because of the equal strength in each club from group F.

I agree, I'm being neutral here, which means I don't support Barcelona nor do I hate them. They have a great chance of making it out of the group, in fact I'd say they're the most likely team to make it through compared to the other teams in the same group. Even if they can't win the group, then the runnerup position is also enough for them to ensure 1 ticket to go to the knockout stages of the Champions League this season.

I can't take Newcastle for granted, in the Premier League or the Champions League. Although they may be at the bottom of group F, they still have a chance to qualify even though their chances are quite small to do so, but still, chances are chances and we cannot say they have no chance at all. They don't have enough experience in the Champions League, which ultimately makes it difficult for them to compete, especially since they are in the most difficult group. But until match 4 they still have a chance, that means they can still provide resistance.

The international break of the UCL competition begins with a match between Lazio and Celtic.  Even though it's not as interesting as the matches in other groups imao Lazio who are currently not  playing optimally in the domestic league can still show their existence in the group because their opponents can still reach out with the strength they have.  As a dark horse club Lazio is not yet fully able to compete with other European clubs who choose to be  more advanced.  Celtic who couldn't do much could easily have given up their ticket to a  more appropriate club in Group E the potential for failure at the start was  already a risk they only  managed to collect 1 point from 4 matches in the UCL which is clearly a bad result.  So Lazio can take advantage of  this opportunity with a very wide point difference with Atletico Madrid only 1 point if they are successful in this match Lazio occupies the temporary standings in Group E.
Its not surprising that Lazio will be favored by bookmakers even though their domestic league performance is inconsistent, but I won't mix domestic performance with UCL because it will definitely be very different and all the teams in the UCL group will definitely prioritize the matches here to perform optimally in each match while Celtic are currently experiencing poor form in the UCL despite looking very strong in the domestic league but this all means nothing.
I mean, even though Celtic is performing very well in the domestic league, in terms of performance it seems like they are not ready to compete with other teams in the UCL and in fact from the early stages until now they have only had 1 point. so it is very likely that Lazio will beat Celtic a little easily even though the score is narrow and Lazio odds are quite good.
