Barcelona seem to be very lucky been grouped with Porto, Sharkhtar and Antwerp because clearly they are dominating in the group winning all three first legs and leading with nine points with Porto following behind with 6 points. It doesn’t look like Barcelona will lose even a game in this group, their future in the UCL this season looks very promising.
I believe that you made this statement before the Barcelona vs Real Madrid in the weekend where their we're defeated by a goal difference,  although the overall performance of Barcelona in the Champions League has been very impressive bit in the other leagues such as the La Liga,  the club is already gradually falling behind in the number of won games.

But if it is the UEFA then we can bank on the Barcelona squad to do something very impressive and much respected by the fans and even the other football spectators who may be interested in seeing the club win.

Every team has several weaknesses. Barcelona's performance is erratic. In La Liga, they could not occupy the top spot in the table. Real Madrid is playing very well it is true. However, the attacking side of this team is quite weak. Real Madrid are reliant on their midfielders. Manchester City's squad looks very strong but the City's midfield is quite weak without De Bruyne. And because of this, City's performance is also a bit slow compared to the previous season. All teams have some weaknesses. This is why it is difficult to predict which team will win the Champions League title this season. Despite Barcelona's erratic performance, this team will also be considered favorites for the Champions League title. Because they have an excellent squad.
I don't think that Barcelona are favorites in the UCL this season, I think it's quite impossible after seeing Barcelona's performance which is not that good and they are even experiencing a lot of problems, in La Liga alone the Barcelona team is having a really hard time, especially in the UCL but luckily because Barcelona joined the team The team is weaker in the group phase, but in the know-out round, I don't think there is a big possibility for Barcelona when facing a stronger top European team.

Then just wait bacelona to face a strong team. I think that he was also right about that. Barcelona was only being so lucky placed in the easy group. You may be seeing this team struggle when it was getting in the gorup F together with so many strong clubs like AC milan, PSG, newcastle or even dortmund. We must also admit that if barcelona's opponents in UCL was nothing compared with real madrid. I think that he was not making something wrong from his post.
Barcelona is proven being lucky enough in the UCL by getting a easy group. The different story when it was not getting easy group. Barcelona may struggle and repeat the same result as last season when it was being kicked out by intermilan.

You can expect barcelona to face some clubs like bayern, or even real madrid. it will be a disaster for barcelona to face bayern as barcelona was always losing with a lot of goals against bayern.
THe story may be even more different when it comes to the match against a strong team caused by the capability of barcelona will be measured in that match.

I think his post is nothing to do with the match between Barcelona vs Real Madrid. It is true that Barcelona is dominating group H, they always win every match and be the leader of group H now. It is very obvious that Barcelona performance in UCL looks impressive so far. However, it is still in group phase, we don't know how Barcelona can maintain the good form when the group phase is over (knockout phase).

I don't want to conclude how far Barcelona to compete in UCL based on the result on La Liga. Sometimes, the performance in UCL and local competition can be different or contradictory (opposite). Although Barcelona looks dropping their performance in La Liga, how knows if they can play better in UCL.

Even if they lose I don't think it will change anything in general, they can relax in some of the difficult periods and not really care about the group stage match. That doesn't sound like a good idea, but I don't know what will happen by then. The other question is what stage can they get to? Maybe they will fall out already in 1/8, what then?

To be honest, Barcelona does not have a strong enough squad to win the Champions League title. But the players in their squad are hardworking. Their coach Xavi is quite experienced. And Xavi's match strategy is also quite good. This is why the team has been able to maintain consistency in the Champions League. Moreover, the other teams in Barcelona's group are quite weak compared to Barcelona.

Barcelona will secure the round of 16 from the top of the table. And I don't think Barcelona will have too much trouble securing the quarter-finals. However, it will be very difficult for Barcelona to qualify for the semi-finals. Because every team that qualified for the quarter finals will be very strong. Barcelona are the most likely to be eliminated from the quarter-finals.
Xavi Hernandez since he took over the managerial position at Barcelona has significantly improved the general performance of the team and with what he's achieved so far with the Barcelona squad, I think they're strong enough to challenge for major titles but I think they still need more improvement to be able to challenge for the UEFA Champions League trophy.
They played against their long term rivals Real Madrid today in the Spanish league and were beaten at home by the Real Madrid. Though their defeat today doesn't necessarily mean that they're a weak team but I think they aren't good enough to challenge against European giants like Bayern Munich, Manchester City, Paris Saint Germaine and Real Madrid.

We can't judge Barcelona like this, we know Xavi is a great coach but we can't forget that Barcelona has many financial issues and this team couldn't buy the players Xavi needs to have. In fact, even if Xavi is the best coach in the world still he needs better players, I think that's why they lost the El Classico game recently against Real Madrid in La Liga.

He's the tight manager for Barcelona cause he's coaching them with same experience he had as a player for the team, if only the team was very financially stable to strengthen the squad depth to the standard Xavi would want, however he's managed the squad he has and even became successful with them last season by winning the Laliga trophy, well last season Barcelona was not very impressive in the UCL competition, they focused all their attention in the League games and that's why they won it.

However this season Xavi has recruited some new players to help him in both the UCL and domestic league game, although his team needs more strengthing like a good younger finisher that would replace Lewandowski and last them long term and some defenders also, however they still look tough and capable of challenging in any competition.

The rest are nothing, they are big clubs but a complete and in formed Barcelona would do them damage.

Xavi Hernandez sure knows what it's like to win the Champions League for he has won with Pep Guardiola and also with Luis Enrique.
He has the experience he can pass down to his players. That aside they have a competent squad capable of facing whatever challenges that comes them way!
I observed the El Classico today and I must say that this ain't the Barca I used to know back then.
They played well but lacked team finish. It is just luck that in the champions league,
they are in the group where they have an upper hand. I agree with you also on the chances of Barca making it past the round of 16. They need a second Messi or Lewandowsky double to win and finish top.

I think both Lazio and Atletico Madrid will win their games without any problems at all when they will be playing at home the return games. While I also don't think there will be surprise results for the above mentioned big teams in their games I cannot stop thinking how lucky was Bayern to get the win in Istanbul as Galatasaray dominated that game completely,it was only experience that gave Bayern the win as the goal scoring opportunities or scoring opportunities were 14-3 in favor of Galatasaray, nevertheless in Germany I doubt they can cause a surprise.

I don't know what the problem was with Galatasaray because they played very well. Maybe they just didn't have enough luck. But with their performance they can definitely at least keep second place and advance to the knockout phase.

There is no guarantee that Barcelona will always be able to win every match in the group stage even though on paper the depth of their squad is better than the 3 competing teams. Barcelona lost many important players at this time and several players who recovered were not yet fully able to give their best performance. Raphinha, Lewandowski have played today for the El Clasico match, but their performance is still not satisfactory.

The only thing I am sure about Barcelona in the Champions League this season is, they will qualify for the last 16. Of course, that's because they have won 3 of 6 matches, which means they have secured 9 points. It only takes 1 win to ensure they qualify, so it's not too heavy a burden for them.

Oh, it's very clear why, because the group phase matches aren't really over yet. In football, every possibility can happen. Even though in their three matches, Barcelona won full points and has collected 9 points. and this also applies to every team that still has matches in the Champions League group phase. So, not only for Barcelona.
Currently, two Barcelona players have returned to play in the El Clasico match. although I can't guarantee whether they will really recover from their injuries. Perdri and De Jong will follow soon. So it is very likely that on the fourth matchday, Barcelona's core players will recover. Moreover, of the teams that were their opponents in the H group phase, only Porto was able to provide fierce resistance to Barcelona.

But when these two teams meet later, the injured Barcelona players have recovered from their injuries. They just need to improve their fitness again, in order to play with their best performance in match after match and including in this competition. and I am sure, Barcelona will win group H and ensure they qualify for the next round. There is a big possibility that Porto will accompany him to the round of 16.

The following is a list of the top scorers of all time in the Champions League and with the addition of 2 goals in the previous match from Erling Haaland, making his name among the top 20 champions league scorers of all time with 37 goals. Erling Haaland is currently 23 years old and his career is still very long for this competition. Maybe in the next 4 to 5 years I think he will be at 100 goals if he continues to be consistent in scoring goals. Will Erling Haaland break the record currently held by Cristiano Ronaldo with 140 goals? If that happens, of course he will beat the achievements of one of the GOATs and also make his name even more famous throughout the world.
I would guess that for Haaland to keep being in that list and keep growing he has to be in good teams at all times. He has reached that level with a big help from moving to City, and not like he would be terrible at Dortmund neither but he can play a lot more games with City, that was one of the benefits Ronaldo and Messi had, they were amazing players but if they played at teams that didn't made it to finals ever, or even had trouble going to UCL, do you think they would be able to score that much?

Look at the games played for that whole list, nobody played as much as Ronaldo and Messi played, obviously they were good but playing a lot of games helps too. This is what Haaland or Mbappe needs, if they can stay at teams that would be playing more and more UCL games the nits possible. Plus the whole UCL system is changing, teams will play more than 6 games I think and that means it will definitely be easier for Haaland to have a lot more goals as well.

I agree with you, barcelona is lucky because they are in group H which is a little easier, and I was sure from the start that they could qualify for the last 16 even though they had to finish as runners-up, but now they are doing better. What is clear is that there are still 3 matches left, and we don't know for sure who barcelona will face in the round of 16, so we'll see how the group phase matches end first.

Xavi squad has suffered too many injuries, although several key players are back available, I see they are not yet fully fit. De jong and pedri are likely to be available again in the near future, this is good news for Xavi, even though on the other hand they have just lost to madrid in el clasico.

Barcelona is very sure to make it pass the group stage with their current points and performance, they could be really considered lucky because they happened to be in a group where they have a better form when compared with their group mates, they happen to have the best dept, form and tactics, I can even say they have the most experience aswell amongst others in the group.

Antwerp appears to have the least of champions league experience amongst them all in that group, most likely porto may qualify after Barcelona and Antwerp and sharktar may have to try again next season as port have the highest of point after Barcelona, while Antwerp has the least and they are not sure of bean able to beat sharktar or Porto to gain more points in their remaining three games before the group stage is over.

Yeah, i have my doubts when he choose Manchester City over other places, but seems like he was correct and he make a step ahead in his carreer, brought the goals that Manchester City needed and he doesnt lose he style of playing, that was one thing that worrid me, i have fear of see him playing like all the city and losing his mark.
You don't need to worry about the players in the Manchester City team this season, because Manchester City still has coaches who are very skilled in their field so that each player will continue to be trained well which is accompanied by a good strategy for the whole team this season. Manchester City will still be counted on by their opponents in the Champions League and also in their own domestic league this season, so you don't need to put your worries on one player or anyone else.

There was no doubt for me when Haaland played at Manchester City because anyway, at the time of Haaland arrival at Manchester City at least Manchester City remained on the winning track. Moreover, basically Manchester City also still has great management with Pep Guardiola as head coach . Therefore, then of course players like Haaland will be able to succeed in developing also at Manchester City. Until finally, Haaland managed to get the title and or the Champion League trophy in his first season with Manchester City, of course it was a great achievement as a successful young player for Haaland.
