The chance for Manchester City to pass this stage is pretty much high and there is nearly zero chance to say Pep Guardiola and his players fail this group but the problem with Manchester City is they were not in the good form like the last season and you could see that when they were playing against Arsenal in Premier League, I think the best Manchester City can do is to start finding a weakness to be the favorite for this Champions League again.

Manchester City lost a match against Arsenal in the Premier League so it is not correct to say that Manchester City has weakened a lot in terms of performance. Sometimes bigger teams lose against smaller teams and this is not unusual. Manchester City's performance this season is a little less than last season, maybe because some important players of Manchester City are injured and they could not play any matches for Manchester City this season, but the reserve footballers that Manchester City have are definitely good player. While Manchester City's performance in the Premier League has been a bit slow, their performance in the Champions League has been normal and they will do well in this Champions League season if they improve their performance gradually.

Every team still has a chance to secure a ticket to the round of 16. But I think Milan will not participate in this competition. They are fully focused on Serie A at the moment. Their main target is the Serie A title this season. Despite poor performances in the Champions League, the team has continued to perform well in Serie A.

Predictions about Dortmund and Newcastle are difficult. The Dortmund team is strong. However, their performance is quite erratic. I am sure PSG will secure the round of 16 from the top of the table. Now, although the Newcastle team can perform well enough, this team is not very experienced in the Champions League. Whether they will be able to do well in the upcoming matches of the Champions League cannot be said for sure. So Dortmund team seems more likely to finish second in the table.
Dortmund, PSG and Milan are teams that have experience in the Champions League compared to Newcastle. Their mentality is good even though they always have difficulty qualifying for the final, but I really think that Newcastle are the underdogs in this group.

If the points obtained are a reference for analyzing who will qualify, then Milan will certainly lose to the other 3 teams. But if experience is the benchmark, then Milan has a good chance of coming back and winning several of the next 3 matches. Milan is not completely focused on Serie A because basically they also want to reach the highest point in the Champions League. I don't agree with that assumption because they are still in the group stage. The opportunity is there, it just depends on how they take advantage of it.

There's no club that can be equal to the barcelona on its group. It will be so dumb if xavi will not be able to maximizing the chance owned by barcelona. Barcelona has been farming full points from the first match day. There's no competitor who can play even better than barcelona in the group. Barcelona will be qualified easily without even facing a tough game against its opponent. No doubt that if xavi will make it but the real match will come once barcelona will enter into the knock out stage.
There may probability for barcelona to face bayern munchen. I would like to see this match again. im really enjoying so many moments when barcelona lose against bayern.

Bayern was in the middle tier group. We will see bayern in action again soon. I hope that there will be the match between bayern vs barcelona. That will be bringing back us to the old memories when barcelona lost 8 goals against bayern.
The maximum effort that Porto, Shakhtar and Antwerp can make is to hold Barcelona to a draw in the remaining three group phase matches, the rest or let's say beating Barcelona seems quite difficult for these three clubs. I think it is very clear now that Xavi squad is guaranteed to qualify as group H winners, and I predict that in the next three matches they will again be able to secure full points.

It is clear that Barcelona meeting with Bayern Munchen is one of the most awaited ones, and is an ideal match because both are considered the favorite clubs to win the UCL trophy this season. Although it's too early to say, I predict one of the two clubs will enter the final. I also understand that many surprises could happen in the future, especially if you see that many important Barcelona players are currently suffering from injuries.

Two points achievement in last three matches make Milan hasn't much choose for qualifying to the next round indeed have two home matches and one away match against Newcastle United. Bad started for Milan in Champion League without winning one match until playing three matches, next opponent is PSG and not sure for Milan will get three pounts or give opportunity for Dortmund or Newcastle United for qualifying to the next round.
Looking current standing teams, two points gap its not huge problem and Milan chance still open for qualidying to next round as 2nd standing position, but in three matches left they win two or three matches and looking for Dortmund and Newcastle have loss their points.
Considering that there are still 3 matches each team will play, the opportunity to qualify for the round of 16 is still open. It's just that Milan is starting to be doubted about qualifying after 3 bad results, but we never know for sure who will get that ticket even though it seems like PSG and Dortmund have a good chance between Newcastle and Milan.

I still believe Milan or Newcastle can win at least 6 points in the group stage in the next 3 matches, that means they have to beat each other regardless of whether Milan wins against Newcastle, PSG and Dortmund or vice versa. PSG have a big chance and I'm not sure they will fail to qualify this season.

I just see Haaland as a small game player, never scoring in big games because he's usually locked by the defense. I still maintain that he's a flop no one is talking about. Imagine not being supplied passes by the wingers, midfielders and fellow attackers, you will find Haaland getting exhausted and easily dribbled. To be frank, nominating him for the ballon d'or is not something he merits, he should rather focus more on not allowing everything be centered around him. I think if he had not being nominated to taking spot kicks and De bruyne hadn't been feeding him those passes, his goals will not have amounted to the 36 he netted last season and even though he has 8 goals in 8 games for now, we are still seeing if the second season syndrome will grip him.

A small game player, seriously mate?  Cheesy  Above all else Haaland is playing in the most prominent league of Europe which is the Premier League. We all saw how incredible his scoring effort in the previous season was as well. When it comes to big matches I remember many examples of them in which Haaland scored goals and became even the man of the match. As a result I don't agree with you about his being a "small game player". It is true that sometimes he can't score against big teams but it is totally normal.

In the end not every star player is able to score goals in such matches every single time. Plus despite De Bruyne's absence Haaland has still been continuing to make a great contribution to his team.
What I mean by "small game player" in this sense is he hasn't scored against any big clubs this season. Granted, the season is still fresh and we are yet to see more of him but like I mentioned, he could be going through the second season syndrome and if care's not taken, he may soon be started from the bench because when you have the likes of Alvarez, Foden and to an extent, Rodri, we don't see any need for the Norwegian giant because in terms of clinical finishes, these guys are also deadly.
It's a big thing to play in the Premier League and excel, I'm not disputing that but also know that eyes will be on you especially if you were signed with a huge amount. Haaland did that for us in the first season, wowed the fans and was the golden boy, but this season it's looking like he's losing his touch. And I'm here wondering if it's because those who fed him the passes in the first season are now more invested in getting the goals for themselves or what?

When it comes to Barcelona's current UCL play, I have to agree with you. Looking at their group rounds, it looks like they had a nice time! Yes, they're ahead in their group, but they're still playing teams that arent very well known. In the previous season, they played big teams like Bayern Munich and Inter Milan. That was really hard! When it comes to Real Madrid, I dont think Barcelona's present team can compete with them now that they have a new look and players like Vini are back. Does Barcelona not have a strong striker? Its impossible! After all, they do need someone like Lewandowski. I wont bet a dime that they can beat Madrid until they make such big changes
Barcelona is ahead of everything compared to the other three teams in Group H, they will clearly have fun and can dominate the standings easily. However, the relatively weak resistance from their opponents meant that Barcelona had to be more alert in the knockout round.
Barcelona must be able to improve its performance in preparation for facing stronger teams, the fewer teams remaining in the UCL, the greater the challenge they will face. Barcelona must be ready to welcome all the challenges in front of them if they are able to survive further in the UCL.

There's no club that can be equal to the barcelona on its group. It will be so dumb if xavi will not be able to maximizing the chance owned by barcelona. Haaland 2 goals from him yesterday makes Manchester City can able to beat Young Boys. They have won all the matches in the three matches so far Group G in the UEFA Champions League. Manchester City are top of Group G in the UEFA Champions League. We know they won the Champions League last season that the biggest candidate to win this season.
Group G is no challenge for the Citizens, watching them winning all three games is no big deal for the club because they're aiming for more challenging game this season. Pep Guardiola is among the working instrument that have elevated the team's performance standard stage. The players are forever ready to take on tougher opponents, this time they don't just easily get defeated, rather they're in good shape and enjoy thrashing their oppositions. Erling Haaland have been really helpful for Manchester City glorious path followed by his incredible teammates.
Yes this group is not a difficult group for them to qualify easily, now they have collected 9 points from 3 matches that means they will certainly qualify if they can win 3 points in the next match. This is beneficial for them, because if they are confirmed to qualify until match 4, it means they have plenty of time to rotate players and prepare players to be fitter in the knockout round which will be very decisive later.
They are also very motivated, especially since they are the defending champions and certainly want to defend the title they got last season.

Milan did well, infact they have good attacking players, Raphael, Pulisic, Chukwueze and Olivier Giroud. They created chances they should have scored but German side defense did everything to hold them down. Newcastle had a chance to score but the effort ended with the goalkeeper serving as a blockage to that ball.

Milan has good players, indeed, AC Milan line should be able to match the teams in Group F. However, Pioli strategy can already be predicted by the opponents. That is the problem and the reason why I am not confident about AC Milan potential in UCL this season. Pioli also often forces players to maintain their strategy, but often forgets that players also need rest and rotation to have balance in the 90 minutes. well, hopefully there is still a chance for AC Milan to qualify to the next round, or at least down to UEL.

Pioli needs to do something new. ACmilan caon't only rely upon the old strategy like that. The chance owned by milan becomes even smaller than before. This is a disaster for the club. Acmilan got only a few points and this team never won the game against its opponents.
Im feeling very disappointed. The performance from acmilan dropped even so hard after the match against newcastle. I have seen aggressivity on milan against newcastle but i dunno why the club was playing so average.

It was losing its identity in the attacking line. I think that milan was reliable enough but the club is performing so badly during the match agains PSG and dortmund.
Acmilan may not able to pass the group stage if it will keep perform like shit.

I hope that milan will not be out from the group this fast.

One more win and it's sealed for Barcelona, they should get a lesser club for themselves when they go on to the knock out round.
If they finish top of their group, then their chaces of meeting a giant club is slim because they cannot meet teams that would also finish first, neither can they meet teams from the same country as them. Having said that, there is no small team in the CL, any team that makes it to the RO16 is strong and they will compete with anyone, it is possible that a giant club could finish second in some groups. Barcelona do not have any chance of winning the CL this season, i think they will be very content if they can make it to the QF, and if they do, i think that is as far as they can go.

Playing against teams from the same country and league is possible here, and in fact matches like that often happen. But regarding Barcelona, of course they will be the group winners this moment but even so, it looks like Barcelona still won't be able to advance further in the knockout rounds . Also maybe Barcelona can only reach the quarter-finals, because it looks like reaching the semifinals will still be difficult for Barcelona. But yes, we don't know either, but what is certain is that Barcelona no chance of making it to the final match . Because yes, it seems that only by Barcelona qualifying for the round of 16, it seems to be an improvement if we compare it with the results that Barcelona had in the previous two seasons, which only finished in third place.

City are favorites to top that group and also favorites to retain their CL trophy. I always believed all that was needed was for City to win their first CL trophy, and then they would go on to dominate Europe for quite a long time, we'd see about that starting from this season, but just by looking at the other contenders, i don't think any of them is as strong as Manchester City.

Real Madrid are the biggest contenders that are very much capable of stopping City, Bayern are good, but i don't think they are convincing enough to win the CL this season. Pep is a serial winner and now that he has tasted CL triumph with this team, i expect that there would be many more.

Group G is no rough opponent for Manchester City. There is no rough opponent for Manchester City that till graduate to the other stage. Unfortunately, even teams like Real Madrid and Bayern Munich are not as strong as Manchester City. Manchester City are favorites to retain their CL trophy. As you said, I also think they will dominate  UEFA Champions League for a long time.

It is enough to be sure that Barcelona will get the first position at the top of the group and come out as the top of the group, if you see all of its opponents I think it has become a high possibility for Barcelona, the next match against Shaktar I think Barcelona is able to get victory easily.
I don't know why you doubted Barcelona at UCL this time, what made you doubt that Barcelona could not take UCL this season, sir? I am quite curious about your analysis of Barcelona and a team that has more potential to win UCL this season. Smiley

I was confident that they would get through this group without any trouble, and sure enough they are now top of the table with perfect points from their three matches. Erling Haaland also scored again in this match after he had struggled to score in several matches. Yes, in terms of strength, the team that is their opponent in this match is quite a big difference, so this victory has been predicted before.
With the points they are currently collecting, 1 more win will ensure they qualify from the group stage, and I'm sure they will.
There are no strong opponents in Group G so it is clear that Manchester City does not have any obstacles to qualify from this group. And it has been proven that so far no team has been able to beat Manchester City, after all they are the favorites to win the UCL so I think it is very natural.

Erling Haaland so far is still the same as last season, he is still the spearhead who is always relied on by Manchester City's front line, but if he hasn't met a tough opponent I can't say that Manchester City have proven themselves, we'll just have to wait in the know out round. Later, to what extent Manchester City can maintain its performance.

And it can be confirmed that with this situation or condition, Manchester City will definitely qualify for the group G stage, yes it is true and on the other hand Guardiola's squad is favored to become UCL or Premier League champions, as happened last season when they won the Trebble Winners achievement. With their very good and consistent performance, I think there is no reason for me to doubt their next performance, because on the other hand they have provided enough concrete evidence in several previous competitions that they are extraordinary and they are capable.

Haaland has no doubt in terms of its quality so it is very natural that many people have made it a favorite player in recent seasons. Guardiola has a very good strategy in midfield with some ball possession that always dominates and as a final solution they can always take advantage of that opportunity on the front lines with a very ferocious scoring machine like Haaland. I have nothing but hope and fingers crossed that Manchester City can maintain this form to dominate the league at the end of the season.

I think Barcelona will be able to win the next three group phase matches, so that Xavi squad can qualify for the round of 16 with the status of group winners and with a perfect points record. Porto has the opportunity to finish as group runner-up, Barcelona is lucky enough to be in H because they don't face any significant difficulties. Of course the knockout round will be more difficult, especially if you meet the favorite team from another group winner, but I think this will still be a long time coming and currently Xavi is facing a series of injuries to his core players.

On the other hand, I think Barcelona is quite ready to face any challenges this season, their unbeaten record in La Liga and in the UCL is proof of their performance this season. Of course sometimes they also have difficulty winning, Xavi really understands this, and I think when Xavi finds his squad is complete, it will be quite easy to improve the team performance.

Milan have a slim chance to qualify considering that they are in a very tough and competitive group I don't think any of these team will at this time be willing to loose enough to give Milan a qualifying chance except by luck and neither Newcastle or Dortmund will be giving room to such mistake that will aid Milan an opportunity to qualify for the next round of the UCL,

PSG is already six points ahead keeping them at the top leading the group followed by Dortmund who has four points already, so it's between Newcastle and Milan been the most likely to crash out at the group stage because I'm very optimistic Dortmund been in their current form will definitely win their next match against Milan which will solidify their second position in the group and make their qualifying chances even higher but with Milan and Newcastle I see them drawing in their next meeting in the UCL. Although Dortmund and Milan share equal points at the moment, their goal difference keeps them apart, let wait for day for and see what happens next.

Their condition with the lack of consistency on every line, the high level of ego of the players such as Bruno or Rashford and internal problems, especially the injury of these players, clearly makes it difficult to predict for Manchester United but seeing the current condition they should have realized with a few matches that have been lost and should be able to fix it. Indeed, for now apart from Bayern for the second position in group A it is still difficult to predict who will qualify but this is actually a good thing for Manchester United because with this indirectly they still have the opportunity to compete in the Champions League.
Agreed about this all situation is not good for the Manchester United to hold second spot in this group because their performance is not consistent, and they are also having no depth in players they need to settle internal politics if they want to have positive results from them few players are surely creating mess up which is never been suitable for any team which is looking for the better results now next month they are going to visit Copenhagen which could be big test for them if they want to go through then surely they need to win this and have much better performance.

Ten Hag policies and strategy surely not ideal to handle current situation with this we can't expect anything good specially having good spot into Premier League which is now having the toughest teams at the top and these are not going to have anything relaxed for the Manchester United.
Fortunately in the last few games players like Maguire, MacTominay and Onana who are often the subject of ridicule played very well because if they don't play well it will be very difficult for Manchester United to get points but indeed for the competition now I think it is still very open for them in the Champions League.

Some internal problems are difficult for them to overcome especially now the problem of Sancho and Ten Hag who did not find a middle point and there seems to be no peace for them, besides that Antony's problem will also make the club troublesome because even if the problem starts to quieten but Antony will definitely not be available even until the end of this season which makes Manchester United will definitely have problems on the wings.

Damnit! Lol. I just can't believe what I'm reading. Erling Haaland might not be scoring goals now but he is a very bright player. He is no small game player.  Erling Haaland is not a flop for God sake. De Brunye has been absent and Bernado Silva too but has still found ways to show up. Over the weekend during the Premier League is was outside the penalty box. He scored a fantastic goal. You have just watch him play.

I don't get it, how do you even watch Manchester City when they play? Haaland is never a big game player and you know it, even the smaller teams he can't perform. He has lost that touch of scoring and this season has shown that he can't contribute more if the ball isn't given to him.
He's just a player that doesn't struggle to get the ball and get that positioning just like Harry Kane does. And you would agree with me that he can't be compared to Harry Kane and if he's playing for Spurs nobody would hear his name believe me on that.
You know with KDB on the mix Haaland has been outstanding in terms of performance but ever since KDB got that injury Erling Haaland performance drop drastically, in some game you hardly find him rather is Alvarez that's making things happen, I don't know how you want to see it but know this, Haaland is just a player that can't show or make any impact in any big game.

You don't know football to say he doesn't merit being nominated for the Ballon d'or. You must watch too much of volleyball game.

He can be nominated but I assure you that he's not winning it, sometimes leave all these things you're saying because from how I see it is like you need to be glued to the TV SCREEN when you're watching any Manchester City game to know that Haaland isn't just over hyped, and if you're judging by performance don't even go to the world cup, and I believe if he had played longer in the world cup injury would have caught up with him that was why he was withdrawn.

He was signed up to score goals not to provide assist, at least Erling Haaland is being useful in his own side.

If you're a coach I know you won't make it to your third month of your contract, how can you say you only sign a player to score goals and not assist? Why is he a striker if he can't score or assist? My goodness, what if he plays 30 games without goals are you telling me that you'd be happy to still start him in every game? Good thing you're not a coach, as far as I'm concern Haaland is signed to score goals assist and make his team win games to avoid defeat.
