Even though copenhagen was only collecting 1 point but it's still better than manchester united with nil point at this moment. I would pick galatasaray/copenhagen to be on the second place rather than manchester united.
Galatasaray was able to beating manchester united at old trafford which was showing how strong galatasaray is compared with manchester united. Despite having a big name, United's performance at this moment is still not on par with Galatasaray.

Due to the significant name and reputation associated with Manchester United, people are opting for this option, although the actual situation may not align with their expectations. That's what i have learned from football.

I learnt about city being interested in signing Kroos. I don't know if it was a joke or there's some truth to it, but it is evidently clear that Kevin D bruye is the powerhouse midfielder that inspires his team to win and Haaland to score more.
His passes is almost as clinical as that of Kroos and if there were a midfielder of such class in the city team now, I would be in support that they can defend their ucl title ad even win it just like real Madrid did.

Manchester City may be interested in Toni Kross. He is a great midfielder. However, Manchester City's midfield is already much stronger now. So I don't think it would be very profitable to add Kross, who is almost 34 years old, to the team. Talented midfielders like De Bruyne, Silva and Phillips are already in the City squad. If City want to plan long term then they should add a young talented midfielder to the squad. The addition of Toni Kroos to the squad may have strengthened City's performance. But I doubt if he can give service to the team for more than 2/3 years.

It's a very true comment, I absolutely agree with you. Everyone makes the same comment about Kevin de Bruyne. Last season Haaland got all the praise for his performance. But this season we see that without Kevin de Bruyne Manchester City lose a lot of power. He is 32 years old. He can continue his top level football for a few more seasons, but after a few more seasons he can't play at the top level anymore. Manchester City need to find a good replacement for him now.

Talking about luck and mentality, of course these are two different things. Luck is possible for all teams and there are many unexpected things throughout the competition. But in terms of mentality, I think it still belongs to Real Madrid. We know that the king of the Champions League often makes the impossible come true and we have certainly seen it since then when Real Madrid were able to win the UCL title against Atletico in 2014. Since then their mentality has continued to grow and the results are up to now they can still surprise people with results that should not happen. This mentality continues to inherit the current generation of Real Madrid and it will be an important strength that other teams rarely have.

Apart from all that, Manchester City is still the favorite because they have better depth than all the teams. Bayern Munich and Real Madrid will always try to win their title back and for Barcelona they are the longest team after last winning this competition in 2015 and of course they will also be aiming for the same thing.

Their last two defeats in the premier league is not enough to want to say or think they are slow or becoming weak. It's normal with big teams almost I'm every league, there are times when they will be at their peak with brilliant and excellent performance and there are also times they will also slow down a bit and later be better but what matters is the cumulative result of their performance by the end of the season.

Manchester city is just going through a normal experience almost every big team gets once in awhile so let's still hope they pick up fast enough and put up better performance after this international break. I'm not very sure but seems there was a recent case of injury with one of their player probably midfield or striker but then that could possibly contribute to their slow performance recently, especially the game with Arsenal it was not played with their complete squad but yet they played well and only had a bad day.

If City could win the Champions League again this season it would be a great achievement and I'm sure Guardiola would really like to achieve this goal.
