Indeed, Manchester City is a strong team in the UCL as is Real Madrid and it looks like in the coming season Real Madrid will definitely be a difficult team to beat in the UCL as will Manchester City. and in the season of course we still remember how tight the competition was between Real Madrid and Manchester City and to be honest, I personally was very tense watching that match because of course Manchester City is the strongest team in the EPL while Real Madrid is also the strongest team in La Liga and finally in the UCL quarter-finals. the second leg had to end with a penalty shootout which was ultimately a lucky break for Real Madrid and finally Real Madrid advanced to the semifinals.

Of course, Manchester City was unable to advance to the semifinals. Of course, in the coming season, Manchester City will appear even better and of course Pep will have the potential to make Manchester City even better in the next season (2024-2025). In the coming season, all clubs will definitely try their best to become champions and of course sometimes there may be surprises such as those who are considered weak but in reality the team is strong and makes it difficult for teams that are considered strong.

The new format that is planned for next season seems to have the potential for us to see that strong teams will be able to compete more closely, especially since there will be additional teams and the number of matches played in the future, apart from Madrid and Manchester City, of course we cannot rule out other teams in champions league, because others teams will rise next season because most of the teams you mentioned are also starting to plan significant improvements by bringing in great coach and also good players nowaday.

What kind of improvement are you looking for? I remember they managed to go to the final under Klopp but failed after that. It's hard to figure out what happened behind the scenes unless they told us, so if we're going by result does this mean if they failed to reach the final again they regress? I think it's a bit unfair if that's the only standard we use to judge them. Not to mention the general image of the club as a stepping stone for youth to go to the bigger club will make it hard for them to retain players. I wonder if the owner and management will change that and win trophies. CMIIW.

It is still doubtful that Bayern will be able to provide competition in the hunt for trophies, they are in an unstable situation after the change of coach. Kompany is expected to be able to take Bayern Munich to a better path, but it is still very doubtful that he will be able to do it because of his limited experience.

It's really bad that all other teams that was making the champions league very competitive and interesting to watch have all dropped out in the competition and left it for Real Madrid as the club has always been in the limelight of the European competition for over a decade now and it is becoming worrisome because other teams also have nice and quality squad even have all the resources it will take to build a strong opposition against Real Madrid but instead the team keeps going higher and strengthening the squad year after year and they have got high quality players that always delivers for them.
            Kylian Mbappe is a great talented player and for the fact that he has joined Madrid now will even solidify the squad the more now tell me why everyone will not predict them to win the champions league with such squad of quality players even their substitutes is made up of great talented players. It was proven when Madrid won 2 times against Manchester City this season and in the last 2 seasons Madrid automatically won the Champions League and likewise before that where Madrid was destroyed by Manchester City at Etihad Stadium made Manchester City in the final and won.

Hopefully this season they meet again in the Champions League especially for now we already know that Mbappe is in Madrid and Haaland in Manchester City which will definitely add a spice to the competition later.

Next season, the only way realmadrid can make a significant impact the more using Mbappe is by doing all balls for goal to mbappe which means Mbappe will be their main goal machine just like halland in Mancity

You have already stated the fact, as is known to everyone, that Real Madrid and Manchester City are the two strongest teams as far as the Champions League is concerned. We might still think that this will still happen in this upcoming season, but to be sincere, Real Madrid are going to be super strong as far as this upcoming season will start because Real Madrid with mbappe is a new definition. So I know that Real Madrid will display a new performance that we will never expect, but it is also luck, as you mentioned. So even with the talented players that will be present at Real Madrid, they might still not get the victory of next season. 

It is just a matter of the knockout stage draws that will determine more if Real Madrid and Manchester City will be meeting in the Champions League finals. If they are on the same side during the draws, that means they’ll meet earlier than in the final just like what happened in the last season’s champions league. I also wish to see a final champions league match between Real Madrid and Manchester City because that will be one of the best finals to be played in this era.


You are right because we have seen a lot of that already but now we want to see a pure final match between the two of them where there will be no second leg matches and both teams will be at their best to give us the best they got in order to win the trophy. It is only in final matches that I test the best teams between two rivalry teams that each claims they’re the best. Let them bring them on to meet each other in the finals next season.

Currently it is only Manchester City and Real Madrid that is the strongest in UCL, and it is only Manchester city that is Real Madrid rival. Any club that is in its best form has the chance of winning UCL that season. This was what happened when Chelsea won UCL. However, luck is also part of succuss because if you are not lucky, you will not be able to overcome tough clubs like Real Madrid.

Next season will favor Real Madrid more only if City can stop them but I doubt this can happen because scoring goals would not be a problem for Real Madrid anymore now that they got Mbappe as their number 9 striker, he will be scoring very easy because he will have all the assist he needs.

Yeah of a truth, many people were expecting to see Real Madrid and Manchester City reach the final of the UEFA Champions League competition last season and I think they would've definitely reached the final if the knockout stages draw never made it impossible for the two teams to reach the final. The two teams were undoubtedly the best teams in the UEFA Champions League last season but in your other statement regarding Chelsea's second European Cup, I don't think they were lucky with the draw rather, Chelsea were just too good to stop in the 2020/21 season that they won the UEFA Champions League title.
Chelsea eliminated a big club like Real Madrid in the semi finals of the competition that very season before defeating a Pep Guardiola's Manchester City in the final. I don't think it was because of luck rather they actually deserved their win.
For next season, I think Real Madrid stands above any other team in terms of quality players in the teams and I strongly believe they'll be the favorites to win the UCL come next season

Just as many people were expecting Manchester City Vs Madrid in the UEFA Champions League final last season, and the draws changed the narrative, that might be how this season’s draw will be because draws are not predictable especially in the Champions League.

Draws used to favor some teams which is exactly the scenario you explain of Chelsea winning their second Champions League title, there were lucky and they used their opportunities well which they letter defeated Manchester City in the Champions league final.

In the next coming Champions League season, many teams need to be given attention because Madrid will hardly win the competition again next season, I am expecting Arsenal to do something on the next coming season.

I agree that a finals between them would be a dream for anyone who likes watching football. Their styles are so different, both the teams and also the managers as well. One of them tries to keep the possession as much as they can and keeps passing back and forth constantly and just try to find an "in" to score all game long and their press is otherworldly when they don't have the possession just so they can win it back quickly. Whereas, the other is just direct football, get the ball, give it to attack, and go towards the defense, try to pass them if you can and then shoot, if failed? Try again later.

To be fair to these two teams they have faced each other a lot, and most usually whenever one of them beats the other, the winner goes on to win the UCL title as well. Because these are the two best teams in the world, that means when they win against each other, whoever they face later on ends up being a team much worse and easier to defeat as well.

Over the last five seasons, I think Manchester City and Real Madrid have met more than two times.Despite it not being a final, the match was really tough and very interesting. So, I believe even if they both meet in the final, I don't think it will be that special because even last season, when they met in the quarter-final, the match was not easy for either Manchester City or Real Madrid. However, both teams showed their great performance, and it was the most interesting match I watched in last season's Champions League. But the truth is that whenever they meet it always be a great fight.

Whenever Real Madrid and Manchester City meet, the match is always tough and interesting because we know the two clubs are very strong and they will both do everything in their power to win the match, so just come to think about it that they are meeting in the final, it’s not really going to be an easy one for the two clubs. A match like this is always worthy of a final and nothing less, but since it's the draw that decides everything now, it's not a given that they'll get caught in the final.
