Leverkusen have been showing some impressive results this season. I didn't even expect that from this team. I feel uneasy about the players showing such skill. I don't believe that Liverpool can fall. So what? It's a natural development, considering that Leverkusen have beaten many strong teams. Wow, what a game we're about to see. It's going to be a really exciting match.
The match could have ended in a draw, although on paper Liverpool has the advantage but Leverkusen is a team that is difficult to predict with Xabi ability to conduct various strategy experiments so that Arne Slot needs many options to overcome Xabi ingenuity. Both coaches have the same high capacity regarding the game system so that this match is thick with tactical battles. The biggest challenge for Xabi Alonso is that he will be playing at Anfield, and he knows very well that the atmosphere at that stadium will bring the young Leverkusen players to a different level.

From here we can see that many say Arsenal has a greater chance of winning the match against Leverkusen later. I'm just neutral when comparing Liverpool and Leverkusen, they are not equal since the start of the season. Liverpool have played very well, the game statistics applied are also very convincing so they are at the top of the standings at the moment.

In this match, Liverpool will not easily beat Laverkusen even though they are playing at home because Laverkusen has prepared themselves before the match starts. The Laverkusen players will try hard to win the Champions League this season.
There is always no easy match in the Champions League even though it involves a much weaker team because the tension of the match here is very different. Liverpool has a chance to win the match but they have to work hard and not let Leverkusen play more openly. If you look at the analysis of the previous five matches, Liverpool is still quite strong and playing at home also gives them an advantage.

Before facing Liverpool, there are two matches that Leverkusen must go through and I think both matches are much more important to prepare first. I see Liverpool's chances in this match as very big because they are in a fairly consistent condition now.

The way Bayern lost the game didn't have that much to do with the coach. You could argue that their positioning was bad and that they were extremely susceptible to deep passes, but I doubt that Kompany told his players to take positions where they are literally out of sight of the Barcelona strikers. The goals were scored too easily. Raphinha made a great move technically when he forwarded the ball with the chest, but that pass should not happen like that and if it does, the defenders of Bayern should be fast enough to be able to intervene, but they looked very slow against Raphinha. If you want to win the Champions League, you need some high speed defenders and strikers. Barcelona has both, Bayern doesn't.
The defense was somehow weak a little but I still think  the game was a  pure logic one, you do know that the game could be totally different  if the Harry kane goal wasn't disqualified because of offside  and they eventually had their 2 - 1 lead, we should have seen a total different game with  that imo, at the same time both team manager  have their logic way of playing... to me I think Bayern manager was aiming for last minute goal rush( with his subs)  but it didn't go as planned, Barcelona looked for the perfect chances especially when the opponent team defence is relaxed & aiming for goal, that's it ! the perfect time to strike and put more pressure to win more goals... not blaming the coach for his logic but experience matters sometimes Smiley

You are talking as if offside is an unjustified part of the game and that everyone could hypothesize about the if, if only the goals were to count that are scored from offside. This makes no sense man, sorry. Offside is there for a reason and top teams integrate this as a feature up to the point where centimeters decide about right or wrong. These teams play on the edge of course, otherwise they wouldn't be Barcelona and Bayern. Therefore, offside is a real thing and Kane's goal rightfully didn't count.

Barcelona controlled the game from almost the first to the last minute. I know that to some people it didn't look like it, but in reality Barcelona was the team to decide whether Bayern wins or loses. It wasn't Bayern themselves. We all know the result and Barcelona did the same with Real Madrid. That was no coincidence. Barcelona is in impressive shape and they convert their momentum into goals. If they can keep up this combination of momentum and conversion, I think they are hard to beat. Maybe Manchester City can do it.

Not only is the Liverepool and Leverkusen match interesting, but we also have the Madrid versus Milan match that is not to be missed. But in terms of excitement, Imao Liverpool and Leverkusen have a plus considering both teams have fast paced games that can be entertaining. Whereas Madrid vs Milan is fairly slow and can be boring. So for Liverpool vs Leverkusen it will be a must watch.

Actually, both teams are also aware of their strengths and weaknesses so that they will continue to be exploited in the upcoming match. However, because Liverpool will be the host, of course Liverpool has more energy to be able to win in front of their own fans, especially since this is the Champions League where Liverpool generally has more experience than Leverkusen. Although Leverkusen will also make a bigger evaluation before the match starts so as not to lose badly at Liverpool's home.

Yes Leverkusen next match against Liverpool at Anfield will be tough. Liverpool knows Leverkusen has improved this season and will be ready. Leverkusen recent tie with Werder Bremen weaker team.is concerning. They could not win despite leading. This shows Leverkusen is vulnerable. Liverpool has home advantage making them more likely to win. Leverkusen struggles against weaker teams do not give them much hope against a strong team like Liverpool.

Bayern Leverkusen this season is totally different from the one of last season so I have reduced my expectations from them.  They have spoilt my bet twice now with their unnecessary draws one of which they were leading by two goals even in their home. So I have the strong feeling that Liverpool will subdue them in that match because Liverpool is more experienced in champions league and they are in a better form than them.
You all be expecting so much from this Bayer Leverkusen side as a result of their unbeaten streaks performance of last season and that's why it appears as though they ain't doing fine this season because you all want them to repeat exactly what they did previously. But it's not done anywhere. For a team of their level, they're doing the very best they can,  and, I think measuring them to teams like Bayern Munich, Liverpool,  PSG, Real Madrid and Barcelona in the champions league is just too much and unfair but still they haven't lost any game in the champions league and are sitting even in the top four.

Liverpool has a broader experience and looks better in form than Bayer Leverkusen in this meeting on the 5th of Nov. but it doesn't undermine Leverkusen in causing an upset in that game. They are a resilient side both in the bundlesliga and UCL which is why I think otherwise about Liverpool subduing this Alonso side (if that's even possible) without going through thorns.

The last 2 matches against Brest and Wender Bremen can be a reference that Leverkusen's performance is not as strong as last season, this club was only able to get a draw, so in the next match Liverpool can take advantage of that weakness to beat Leverkusen but the possibility of a draw can still happen, usually Leverkusen always tries not to lose and when they have difficulties they try hard to equalize, in this match I am also very curious about Xabi Alonso's strategy when facing his former club and of course the match between these two clubs will be very fierce.
The match between Liverpool and Leverkusen will be one of the matches that promises high intensity in the game, because indeed the two teams so far has a performance and mentality that I don't think is too different, although at the moment maybe Leverkusen has a slight drop in performance as seen in the match against Brest, but I think they are still a team that has the potential to surprise us again this season, of course  Alonso will definitely use his knowledge of Liverpool to design a strategy that can surprise his former the club, and we also can't deny that so far the squad owned by Leverkusen is no different from last season which has an attitude of never giving up, cohesiveness and also a strong mentality in a match, Leverkusen expertise in making a comeback make me very angree with you if it is likely that the match will be later will end in a draw.

There are so many big matches in the 4th round of the Champions League this season, one of which is the meeting between Liverpool vs Leverkusen. Last season we had hoped that they would meet in the final round of the Europa League, but that did not happen because Liverpool had to be eliminated from the Europa Lea\
Bayern Leverkusen will surely give Liverpool a serious fight during that game even though the game will be played in Anfield, so  for me Liverpool is not the favourite to win that game, i am seeing it from a neutral angle that Buyern Leverkusen with there defensive and attacking attitude, they will hold Liverpool to standstill.

Looking at the way Arsenal played Liverpool last night,  it can easily be deduced that when you have a solid central and defensive midfield, you can hold Liverpool to standstill, the unfortunate thing with Leverkusen this period is the fact that, one of the foremost strikers Victor Boniface is out injured, but nevertheless it will surely be a tough game.

But I still count on Leverkusen and I think they will be at the top of the table competing for the title until the very last game day. Talking about Leverkusen not being as good as last season, I wonder what the reference points are. People seem to be forgetting that instead of the Europa League, Bayer Leverkusen is now playing in the Champions League with 7/9 points in 3 games and they have beaten AC Milan. To me this doesn't look much worse than last season Wink
The difference may only be in the focus of the coach, namely Xabi Alonso. Where last season the coach's focus was on winning the Bundesliga title and winning the European League title. Meanwhile, for this season, I think Leverkusen's focus is more on the Champions League. If we look at Leverkusen's current performance in the Bundesliga, we can see there has been a slight decline there. But if we look at Leverkusen who played quite well in the Champions League then we can't say this team is worse this season. But I prefer to rate Leverkusen in the UCL when this team faces a really strong team. Like in the 4th match against Liverpool. because in the first to third matches we haven't seen Leverkusen really face a team that is in its best condition. AC Milan is indeed a strong team from Serie A. But we can see that their current condition in Serie A doesn't seem to be in really good condition. They are still not consistent so far with their new coach.

They are not totally different, it is just that what they have achieved last season was literally impossible to repeat. This reminds me of Lionel Messi when he scored 50 goals in La Liga in one season and the next season people said he is not living up to expectations because he only scored 40 goals. I think that is ridiculous. A more realistic view on things is required here as everyone with an idea about football knows that going unbeaten for two consecutive seasons is twice as impossible as it is to go one season unbeaten.
There is no difference Leverkusen is still the same as last season, for the current performance may be said to be a little down because of many disappointing results including a draw in two matches.

Especially now dealing with Liverpool, of course it is a difficult opponent so it is also difficult to beat.
Whatever the result can happen or surprises will come at any time, in terms of seeing which opportunity wins I determine Liverpool.

I agree that this is more of a result issue than a game quality issue. But this could be seen last season already. They had a lot of last minute wins or draws when I thought that it could have gone wrong just as as likely. That's what's happening this season, the shot in the last minute that hit the back of the net last season only touches the cross bar or is defended by the goalkeeper this season. These are the little things that can let a perfect last season look more like average this season.

But I still count on Leverkusen and I think they will be at the top of the table competing for the title until the very last game day. I also have a feeling that Leverkusen will struggle more when facing Liverpool at Anfield and Liverpool themselves are also very aware that Leverkusen are a little different from last season so Liverpool will try to beat Leverkusen when they visit Anfield in their next game next week. Also I see that Leverkusen's draw in the domestic league has really given Leverkusen a very different assessment for this season because Leverkusen drew with Werder Bremen who generally have not been so strong this season and Leverkusen even took the lead in that game.

Liverpool must be aware of the tactics of Leverkusen coach, Xabi Alonso. I think he is indeed an extraordinary coach with good tactics in every match. Last season they were stronger, and now many coaches have studied how Xabi moves his team to defeat opponents.
Liverpool must play effectively to be able to win the match against Leverkusen. They have a frightening attack strategy but when they defend they can also be very strong. But all strategies can be broken, Liverpool can see how Leverkusen also struggled to win when facing Brest, Bremen, and even Holstein Kiel who are currently at the bottom of the Bundesliga standings. Liverpool must have good confidence to win.
This is football, and you don't expect constant winnings from these clubs. There's presence of defeats and winning, it just depends on the team's strategy. The game pattern of these teams are quite different, watching the promising performance of these clubs, it's enjoyable and entertaining. Liverpool facing Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League, this fixture is important for the developing stats and also for gamblers. Necessary odds are up for grab and the English side would do everything within their reach to trigger the big winnings. Arne Slot vs Xabi Alonso, who's grabbing 3 significant points?

We can’t tell until it’s played but both teams looks very promising to be able to win this match. One is doing great in the premier league while the other is also doing well in the German Bundesliga. It is without doubt I see a very big challenge we will be witnessing in this match when they play next in the champions league. Bayern Leverkusen are trying to make a significant impact in the champions league even when they don’t have any experience like their opponent. Both players and coaches don’t look like they have any experience of the competition, but I expect them to still give the experienced Liverpool a tough time even if they had to win the match in this encounter.

Liverpool is a team with better squad depth than Leverkusen, so it's natural that Liverpool are the favorites to win. After all Liverpool were playing at home and it would be unreasonable to assume they would play worse. This match might be great if Leverkusen puts up the best fight, but Leverkusen's defeat is very possible. But first, you are right that this is a different season for Leverkusen.
Bayer Leverkusen of this season is quite different from the Leverkusen of last season in terms of performance. This Leverkusen of this season is not tough enough to even compete for the Bundesliga this season not to even talk of the Champions League, I have removed them from any title hope because they are not playing like they really want to win something this season.
Liverpool this season under Arne Slot is in good form, the team is now second in the EPL table and are doing very great overall in all competition; they can defeat any team in the world as it stands now because they have good squad and good defenders that concede less goals among top teams in the EPL and across Europe this season. However, they are my favorite in this match because Leverkusen can’t stop them from winning them because Liverpool is in good form and will their best to win the game.

No matter how good you are when it comes to football their are days that you will not be favoured and not every time you can be consistent every time so that is just how games are you have to be ready always to accept those defeat as a lesson to improve them self and the issue now is that when you are in a competition you should already know that you are going to meet a lot of challenges, because the same way you are prepared the same way that you are prepared.

Liverpool against Leverkusen is another win for Liverpool because Leverkusen is not yet prepared to win Liverpool because they look new to the the system, and this are the reason why it will be very difficult. It's a good opportunity to win your self some money because games like this are very easy to predict. Champions league even  looks boring. I don't know why but have not feel that feeling I use to have during the champions league.

Leverkusen had one good year last season, and that's it, nothing more, which is why I am not expecting the whole world from them, doesn't make sense. I believe the best thing right now for them would be figuring out what they could do for the long term because Xabi will leave, Wirtz will eventually leave too, so they need to figure out what they can do after they are gone, not just focus on this season.

Bayern Leverkusen don’t look like they’re weak this season or can’t perform well this season. They’re already playing a great football this seaosn and that should be a sign that they’ll also outshine their other opponents and fight for the league title also. Xabi is doing great and even though he won’t be their forever with them, he’ll definitely leave a legacy the next manager will work on, and won’t want to perform lesser than he has done already. Bayern Leverkusen are one of my top favourite for the league title and I also see them going to do well in the champions league too.

Quote
Obviously Leverkusen isn't as good as people think they are, and that will be soon apparent to everyone but until then people will have vote of confidence on what they can do. If you ask me, this should be an easy game for Liverpool, they are looking like they are having a whole new level of success these days and I can see them win this one too.

Liverpool is doing well so far this season but haven’t seen such performance from them to make me think that they can win this game easily. Bayern Leverkusen is not a mediocre team when compared to teams like Liverpool. I see a very tough challenge in this match and any team that gets to win this match, they will definitely have to feel it not easy for them to achieve that victory. Bayern Leverkusen are doing very well this season likewise Liverpool are also doing great too, so they definitely not going to have them both easy in this encounter.

This is very different from Liverpool this season they are very different from last season, Liverpool's game has changed a little their way of playing is not as wild as Jurgen Klopp but under the guidance of Arne Slot Liverpool is the most effective in their way of playing and this can be proven by them getting perfect points in the Champions League so far apart from Aston Villa. So with the results that Liverpool have achieved so far, this will be a good capital to face Leverkusen, especially since this match is played at home of course Leverkusen will most likely lose points in this match.
Currently Slot has priorities so he doesn't really make the ambitions of some players forced but that actually ends up with good things like when Slot doesn't give more opportunities to Nunez who sometimes fails more than the presentation of his success at striker but it makes conditions better at least for now.

Now Liverpool are with a new spirit and although maybe for the start of the season their target slot will not be too ambitious in the trophy but the achievements made so far and the performance that is still very good of course it makes Liverpool still very awake with a series of positive results owned. Now it's just a matter of seeing whether Slot will still be able to maintain this until the end or not especially usually mid-season sometimes there are always changes that are not very good for some big clubs and Slot must try to keep that so that last season's decline for Klopp does not happen in Liverpool's new era now.
