PSG will not go down because they’ve sold their most valuable player. They have a lot on them to be able to buy new players that will keep them on the top fight in the league, so I don’t think they’re going down just like that. If they were to be a team without much financial capacity, they would have been thinking on how they can maintain that top position in Ligue 1 and also be a competitive team in Europe. But since they’re not, they’ll still be the best in their league.
There is no doubt that even though PSG loses its flagship player, League 1 will still be dominated by this club and the reason is clear, that good finances can always provide good results.
I also admit that PSG is still a consistent club but in the champions league I would really doubt the club because without Mbappe, PSG would only have difficulty scoring more than their opponents and the proof is that PSG's biggest scorer is only Mbappe who is the mainstay and just imagine how it would be PSG's performance without their mainstay players would definitely be very bad.

So far I only believe that everything will be fine, but I also believe that if a club is used to relying on just a few players in big competitions, one day it will definitely experience bad times in a few seasons and this will definitely be experienced by PSG who must be patient in building the club does not rely on star players but relies on cooperation between all players.

It is the management that I so much envy for their effort on keeping the club to standard for a very long time. The management have always make sure that there is a professional coach to coach the players and do always recruit new top class players to strengthen the team ahead of next season.

Ancelotti is one of the coaches that has really committed himself to Real Madrid with his outstanding skills and experience in the coaching job which has made him to know how to convert players playing as midfield to attackers and vice versa. The club is in a strong form and no club has always kept to their quality for a very long time compared to Real Madrid.

You are right that Real Madrid management looks for an experienced coach before adding star players to the squad. It is possible to produce star players, or Madrid have enough money to buy star players. But if the coach is not experienced then the players will not perform consistently well no matter how talented and experienced they are. And this the Madrid management knows very well. This is why Madrid always put experienced coaches in charge of their squads. And this team performs consistently well.

I don't know how Madrid will be if Ancelotti leaves Madrid. However, Ancelotti has already managed to build a strong squad. Madrid's squad is pretty stable right now. And that's why it won't be too difficult for the new coach to work with the Madrid squad.

In essence, Real Madrid still has many young players in every line and as such, of course Real Madrid will still be fine even though Kroos has retired and Modric has left. Of course, it doesn't make it difficult for Ancelotti to maintain good performance for Real Madrid, because Real Madrid is also still very good at carrying out regeneration, so there is no doubt for Real Madrid for next season.

But indeed, because Real Madrid has many young players who have at least the same position in the attack line, this will result in them being placed in other positions in order to strengthen Real Madrid's attack line. I think it won't be a problem, because at least these young players will still get good playing minutes and won't just be on the bench.
Real Madrid which is having one of the best system with their development system and academies which are producing one of the best players for the soccer having good things and their investment is also giving them good return of this all because recently we are having too many youngsters which give their best and also capable of going through for the big stage.

Real Madrid legend Raul is also doing impressive job and having spot for Real Madrid B coach for the years which is also helping these youngsters to develop their skills and also having good development of their talent which helps them for having all things well under control Ancelotti extended his contract until 2026 which is also good for the team and all players which are doing their best under him because with this all we will have good depth between players, and they will be able to give their best during this time.

Real Madrid has an experienced management, an experienced coach like Ancelotti. And this is why they have been able to form a stable and strong squad. Both Ancelotti and the Madrid management are visionaries. They have built this squad for a long time. And there is strong bonding between the players in the squad. But this is possible due to experienced coaches and management. At the same time, Madrid has a lot of money. They are also able to pay high wages to the players. Madrid have everything a club needs to thrive. This is why we see Real Madrid's dominance in the Champions League every year.
That's the thing about Real Madrid, they are becoming very scary because they are doing everything absolutely perfect. They have a great president, they have a great management, they have a great staff team, they have great players, hell they even made a great stadium.

Considering all of this, there is a potential that they could do the treble for five years in a row and wouldn't even be shocking, not saying they will but the fact is that they could and would be realistic is the scary part. Who could beat Real in this period? I mean look at them, they are better than every team and they could keep on winning, and while they do spend a good chunk of money on all of this, they are making it back with the new stadium and all the reward prizes.

For the winners of the champion's league trophy, Madrid will continue to be on the top choice list going by their strength and knowing the depth of the team, currently in the champions league, it looks like there's almost no team who can be about to completely stand shoulder on with them, they are really in their best of form, Manchester city appears to be another team that's in their good form too and can be able to probably get in the way for Madrid, before now city has been the top choice for this but not anymore they are likend to normal competitors.

This is going to be a very hard narrative to believe because everyone sees Manchester City as the best contender for the champions league title together with Real Madrid. This is going to be a very hard one to predict because the champions league is full of many great surprise and many cannot tell what the next outcome of a game will be if they don’t play it yet. As of now still, Manchester City still happens to be the only team that has the team quality that can stand Real Madrid. So I can’t believe them to just be a normal competitor to them.

So far we have seen how big teams lost their star players, but I don't see any team actually going down afterwards, so far football is a sport that relies on teamwork so it is difficult for us to say if a team will be destroyed just because it lost its star player, I think that when a team has strong finances, they certainly won't have difficulty bringing in other players and sometimes it will even make the club even stronger in the next season.

PSG will not go down because they’ve sold their most valuable player. What can Paris Saint Germain do in the Champions League next season after they lost several important players? The reason is that they are always the topic of conversation in the Champions League, not a good topic of conversation, but they are criticized a lot because they can't show anything promising that could lead them to win the title for the first time.
Their very hot topic now is after losing Mbappe to Real Madrid. Many say that after losing Mbappe their performance will decline because this player is a mainstay on Paris Saint Germain's front line. Yes, I agree with that that Mbappe is a mainstay player, but will that necessarily make Paris Saint Germain's game drop drastically? I do not think so. If they drop drastically after Mbappe's departure, then they have failed as a team because they only depend on one player.
Previously PSG had proven that relying on star players was not enough for them to win the Champions League, so what happens when they no longer have these star players like they do now?
I think the question above is currently a question that many of us here are asking, but on the other hand we should still think positively about what PSG will do next season because after all Enrique is an experienced coach and he knows what he has to do to make PSG can still compete in the Champions League next season, many of us think negatively about PSG after they lost Mbappe now, but I personally see that PSG will probably be even stronger if they rely on teamwork in the future.

If opinion polls are drawn now about who the likely winner of the UCL this season, Real Madrid will still top the chart. They seams to have put everything in place to make that happen and Mbappe coming into the team is definitely a factor. If they are able to win it this season, maybe we will just abandon the title for them because there would be no point competing against them. It is becoming very difficult imagining another team that will challenge them now. Man City used to be the team that will come to mind but their poor performance last season dispelled the fear people have about them.

They might have lost many good players but that doesn’t mean they can’t buy new ones to replace them. Their performance in the champions league is of course very impressive every season and they don’t always have to make it to the finals and win the trophy. I don’t think they’ll either now because when they has Messi, Neymar and Mbappe in the team, they couldn’t even make it that far, and where eliminated earlier than expected.

They will always find their way to the champions league competition because they are the best in their league and they have that money to buy those quality players to help them retain their position in the top flight of the league and always secure their spot in the champions league among other elite teams. PSG performing well next season is certain but how far they can make it in the PSG will depend of the strength of their teams.

In the UCL thread we will continue to find Madrid, in the EPL thread we will find Man City, in the bundesliga we will find Leverkusen and Munich, in league 1 we will find PSG. That's how football fans always brag about big teams that are successful and will forget about other teams that are failing.
Sometimes I also feel bored even though I am a Madrid fan but I don't really like it if this team is overrated. This is all because football always has surprises that we cannot predict, even though Madrid is a team that looks stronger after Mbappe arrival, but Munich has Kane and Man City has Haaland who is as reliable as Mbappe.
You have pointed out good thing with I am also having same trouble mostly while I am checking here we are having just Real Madrid but with this all one thing is sure after having amazing success now they deserve to have most talked, but we also need to talk about few other teams which are doing good work and having fair chance of overtaking them which is difficult but possible because few teams are trying to have best squads before next season, and they are trying to bring their required players which can bring good strength to their squad.

We have few clubs which are having star players which are mostly talked, and we are having many teams which are doing things without big names which are also amazing stuff, and surely they also needed to be talked like we have Bayer Leverkusen in Germany, Bologna in Italy, and Girona in Spain hopefully things will be competitive in coming season for all teams.
Yes, there are many other teams to look at, such as Leverkusen, where they were a pretty good and strong team last season after winning the title in the Bundesliga without losing, this is a good achievement and perhaps other teams, including Madrid and Manchester City, apart from that, Atalanta will also get a UCL ticket next season, where this team also needs to be watched out for, this team can beat Liverpool, a strong team with a landslide score, while we know that Manchester City is having a little difficulty facing Liverpool under Klopp's guidance, but they are in the same class. This team was defeated by Atalanta in UEL last season.

I believe that many teams will give surprises in the UCL later, but I will not choose which team is the best, but I believe that there are teams that are truly unseeded but can reach the important round, at least the UCL final next season, as we look at the actual teams. not seeded to reach the final but they managed to reach the final. This will always be a surprise, I hope that Leverkusen under the guidance of Xabi Alonso will be a team that makes things difficult for all the teams in the UCL later.  Grin

I fully agree with you, he is one of the most complete and successful coaches of all time, he is truly the number one capable of creating a cohesive group of players like Real Madrid, all young and so successful, to think that when he was at Napoli he was criticized, I am truly shameful and he was right to leave
Ancelotti is known as a coach who has no tactics but he has always been successful at any club. I think no other coach can match his success and in the modern era of football it is very difficult to find a coach like him. Pep Guardiola as one of the coaches with the best abilities has not been able to match what Ancelotti has achieved, let alone if we talk about the current coaches whose abilities are still below him.
Next season will be a step for how Ancelotti can defend the Champions League title and now the support of the players he has is very supportive. Mbappe is expected to be one of the players who can help Real Madrid defend the Champions League title next season.
I don't think there's any doubt to the fact that Carlo Ancelotti is actually one of the best coaches in the world at the moment and also one of the best in the history of the beautiful game of football because his achievements actually backs that claim. Last season, he was able to win the UEFA Champions League trophy with Real Madrid which happens to be his fifth European Cup trophy, a record that's only enjoyed by him alone. For all the times he's won the competition, he's never won it consecutively but I strongly believe that he'll achieve that feat this season.
Real Madrid recently added few more world class players to an already intimidating squad which have significantly increased their chances of retaining the UEFA Champions League title next season which Kylian Mbappe happens to be the most notable addition. With the presence of the France national team captain, I think Real Madrid will win the UCL come next season

There is no doubt that Ancelotti is a fantastic coach. He is a very experienced coach. And that's why Real Madrid won the Champions League and La Liga titles last season. If Ancelotti was not the coach of Madrid, winning these two titles would have been a very difficult task for Madrid.

Ancelotti is gradually developing the experience of Vini and Rodrygo, two of Madrid's attacking players. The phenomenal improvement in Vini's performance we saw last season. Bellingham is also performing well with Madrid. If Mbappe can fit in well with the Madrid squad next season, Madrid will be considered the most favorites for the Champions League title.

So in this case we only need to see whether the loss of Nacho and Kroos in their defense and midfield and the arrival of Mbappe in attack can make Madrid more stable or not for next season.

Madrid's attack line will definitely get additional ammunition because after all, until now Mbappe is one of the strikers who is very deadly even that has been recognized by many clubs because he has always been the backbone at PSG so that with the arrival of Mbappe it is certain to make their attack line dangerous.
It is undeniable that in the end Kroos became a very extraordinary specter when losing but the season must continue where it is impossible for them to also continue to expect Kroos because after all there must be regeneration in the team.
Although we are certainly aware that no one will be able to replace the role of Kroos especially for the supply of the ball which is very extraordinary but in the end Ancelotti can still maximize players with their superior skills next season because there is still Modric who can definitely be a good option in midfield besides that there are still Valverde and Camavinga where these 2 players can attack and defend so that Madrid's midfield will still remain luxurious even though there is a gap where the supply of indulgent passes must be slightly reduced.

Many fans huge expected with Real Madrid keep the top performance for next season in UEFA Champion League after success become the winner in this season by beating Dortmund,
I think Madrid keep become the favorite team as the winner although leave by Toni Kroos next season but arriving Kylian Mbappe will make Madrid attacking line more aggressive with Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Jude Bellingham will be good partner for Mbappe.

I don't think huge problem for Real Madrid and their tactician Carlo Ancelotti after leaving by Toni Kroos, they have many top qualities midfielder will back up Toni Kroos position with Camavinga or Carlo Ancelotti moving down Valverde become holding midfielder. I believe Carlo Ancelotti manage well with his smart tactician moving some players from their original position such as did with Rodrygo as winger moving him as false nine or central forward.

Now Ancelotti even leads as the coach with the most Champions League titles, it proves that he is indeed a very good coach as proven by his success in the Champions League. Even though many say he is poor in strategy, this is not supported by the statistics he has recorded. The achievements he can achieve say that he is a good coach. Indeed, in the game he doesn't apply many complicated strategies like controlling the ball a lot or things like that. However, when attacking, he can make his attackers very effective in taking advantage of opportunities to score goals.

The way he prepares the team for the long term is also very good, we can see that at Real Madrid. Some of the players he managed to bring in were young and could perform well, so that was a big asset for the team he was managing for the future. Even though he won't be at Real Madrid forever, he left something behind that makes Real Madrid ready for the future.

Every day I come to the thread and Madrid is at the center of discussion and tournament hasn't even started yet. I would love to hear all of you flip your opinions when Madrid doesn't get to win the trophy for the 2024/2025 season. I'm well aware that Madrid has been on fire in the UCL in recent years (yes, they took two trophies from Liverpool in that same time period), but there's still abig possibility that they won't be winning the trophy for the next year. They only managed to win it last time because City, Bayern and even Dortmund came very close but they just missed all their chances otherwise, it would've been a different story.

Keep options open guys.

I totally agree. I also see the same discussions whenever I check what's going on here. 79 pages already while even only the qualification phase is active. Real Madrid is the main topic on most of them.

I can't find many things to discuss about right now truthfully. Because even transfers are newly starting to be made by big teams. While we don't have any idea about the last condition of the squads and haven't watched their matches yet, it is hard to express an opinion. I can only agree on one thing here, Real Madrid are getting much stronger with Mbappe and more transfers to come for especially the defense area.  Smiley

Why Real Madrid is widely discussed including many of them say Real Madrid will win the UCL this season again, this fact is due to the factor of Mbappe coming to Madrid even though Toni Kross has retired Real Madrid has never lacked in anything regardless of several players may be brought in again.

So naturally Real Madrid will remain the favorite to become the 2024/25 UCL champion even though the season has not started we already know the ability of Real Madrid now.

We don't know how much other challengers will compete later? From some of the other big teams, some have changed players, some have not, meaning that other teams can still beat Real Madrid in any way, I am not here to favor Real Madrid so fanatically, I have to see other teams how to do it in the UCL.
Yes, Mbappe joining the group makes them seem like a goddamn powerhouse. Before one ball is kicked, pundits already present the Champions League trophy. It seems as though everyone is forgetting that football isn't scripted. Recall Man City's choking during previous season? Shits occur. This fresh UCL arrangement? More games and much more anarchy. We might see some underdogs upsetting things. Indeed, Real Madrid seems unbeatable, but keep in mind that element of surprise counts. This is why this sport is so nasty exciting

Real Madrid has always been a strong team known throughout the world in football. Among them, one of the most powerful and paid teams in the Champions League, they always put in great performances to push the team forward. I think they fight the most to win the UCL title because it is the biggest trophy Champions League where every team dreams to win the trophy here. Ancelotti is an experienced coach, he is very forward and has shown enough good experience for the team for Real Madrid and has taken the team up a lot. They have won the most trophies in the Champions League and are arguably the most successful team in European football. And we can expect him to perform well in the Champions League this season and try hard to win the trophy.
Real Madrid is a team that can be said to support each other. They have quality players, good coaches and good management too, that is very valuable capital for a team to achieve great success. As a team they should have that, because it will be difficult if their players are quality but the coach cannot utilize it well, conversely it will also be difficult when they have an experienced coach but the squad they have is mediocre, likewise if the management cannot manage well.
All of these cannot be separated from each other, because they play as a team so they have to have continuity with each other or as I said above they have to support each other and so far Real Madrid is a team that has all of that.

I fully agree with you, he is one of the most complete and successful coaches of all time, he is truly the number one capable of creating a cohesive group of players like Real Madrid, all young and so successful, to think that when he was at Napoli he was criticized, I am truly shameful and he was right to leave
