Everyone knows that Real Madrid is the king of Europe. It is very difficult for any club to match their performance, especially now that Real Madrid has a French star player who will make Real Madrid stronger than before, so I think other clubs will have even more difficulty thwarting that club's efforts to win the title again.
Even Man City and Bayern Munich will definitely have difficulty beating these main rivals, but yes, I also want to see a club that can surprise so that the competition looks exciting and can prove that a club studded with star players can still be beaten.
Indeed. All people around the world knows Real Madrid is very superior in UCL. They are the club that won the UCL trophy many times, they won 15 UCL trophies. For the next season, the chance of Real Madrid to win the 16th UCL trophy is very open because Mbappe already joins Rea Madrid. Mabppe is one of the best strikers in the world, he surely strengthen Real Madrid attacking power.

You're right. In theory, Man City and Bayern Munich will be more difficult to beat Real Madrid. But it is not impossible that Man City and Bayern Munich can beat Real Madrid. Sometimes when a team feels that they are stronger, they become lazy to evaluate their weakness. So if Real Madrid is too focus on attacking, their defense can be so fragile and the opponents can beat them.

It is quite fascinating how Real Madrid has been at the helms of Champions League trophies right from old times and they are still in good form to contend for this in the next few decades. This is an epitome of consistency. I do not only applaud the coaches that brought this glory and the players but also the management for consistency over the years. Real Madrid is indeed a club that opponents fear. It is a dream club of every player and I jealous them for that.

In the other hand, Liverpool and Bayern Munich are still been keeping up the fire for the recent seasons. I now see the reason of the rivalry between Real Madrid and Liverpool when Ronaldo and Mohamed Salah was their key player respectively. I do really wish that Manchester city will be in this contention level for a long time.

Interestingly in the Champions League there are no teams that can always dominate. Except Real Madrid is only able to maintain three times in a row and of course it will be very difficult to materialize again.

After Madrid was able to do but we no longer saw any dominance by a team in the Champions League so far, the competition is competitive and full of the best teams in Europe, making the Champions League very difficult for one team to dominate, especially after in several in the last season, many teams started to have quality and also capable squads, so with the increase that occurred in European clubs, competition in the Champions League also became more difficult, even Madrid, which this season managed to win the Champions League and to maintain it next season will certainly be very difficult although they have improved the quality of the squad by bringing in mbappe and other players.

It is not easy to dominate the Champions League and become champions in a row, and when Real Madrid managed to win the title 3 times in a row, they got it in a way that was not easy at all. Real Madrid's advantage when they did that was that their players had a very good winning mentality, so they were able to do something that had long been considered the "curse" of the Champions League.
At that time, Real Madrid had a luxurious squad and almost all of the mainstay players were players who had captain status in their respective countries. That is another advantage they have so that they achieve enormous success.
Next season they are also believed to be able to defend the title, but this is the Champions League and everything will be more difficult to achieve.

The Champions League atmosphere is truly amazing and the tournament has been running for a long time so that each team is always very ambitious to be able to get the trophy.

Yes, I also thought that at that time PSG would be able to win the competition, because the presence of Lionel Messi and several other top players, but again the mystery of the Champions League was difficult to realize. But for next season I also believe that Real Madrid will be able to again defend his title Mbappe will also make a big influence and make the Ancelotti squad stronger. But in any football can happen and no one is able to guess the results of the match in detail.
The difference in atmosphere that occurs in the league and the Champions League often means that a club has to continue to add depth to their squad even though they are very strong in the domestic league, what has happened to PSG so far is an example of the difficulty of competition in the Champions League so far, PSG continues to have the ambition to win the Champions League trophy by bringing in lots of stars, but they forget that there are many factors that really influence a team to be able to win the Champions League trophy so far.

The UCL League is very interesting and very difficult for any team except Real Madrid to contribute. Even though it was said that it would be difficult to do it again, with the squad that Real Madrid currently has, it is not impossible that Real Madrid will do it again. We know that this season Real Madrid without their mainstay striker can win the UCL title, especially next season with very good strikers like Mbappe and Endrik.

The atmosphere of the UCL league is very different from European leagues, let alone domestic leagues. The reason is that the team will give their best in this competition and there will always be surprises. Moreover, there are very impressive teams that will appear in the UCL league next season, such as Aston Villa, Bologna, Brest, Girona and Stutgrat. Of course, it will be very interesting to see which team advances the furthest in these five teams.

It is very easy to identify that PSG failed to win a trophy even though the squad was filled with top players, because the team did not have the mentality and did not have a coach who was able to utilize the skills of the players.

There was a time not long ago that Paris Saint German (PSG) had K. Mbappe, Lionel Messi, and Neymar in their team that we all thought they were going to do wonders and capture the champions league like never before but nothing of such as expected of such squad materialized. Am not saying Madrid is not a threat with the inclusion of Mbappe in their squad towards next season but that doesn't make them unbreakable, neither does it give assurance about their winning the UCL trophy next season. They could be unlucky and with various lapses because having the team crowded with star players doesn't omit them from some possible lapses to which their opponents can drill through.

I have no expectations from any team yet till the start of the season with teams transitioning from the group stage to the next round. All I look for is enjoying the games and be well entertained with good football. And should Real Madrid continue in their expedition of winning the UCL over and over again the competition will eventually start looking boring for football fans, this is why we need other teams to intercept their serial flow.

The Champions League is not just for top teams.
Yes, there have been only 9 clubs winning the title in the last 20 years,
but I don't think winning the trophy is the only aspect of the competition.

Upsets happen every year, there are always surprises of small teams beating bigger teams.
The way Manchester United couldn’t survive a group with Copenhagen and Galatasaray shows enough reasoning why I say that.
Man United is definitely the bigger club among those, but surely didn’t do justice to the "top club" definition. Maybe one of the top teams will take the title again, but the competition will always be fierce Smiley.

I understand were you are driving at, and of course those things also needs to be considered because that a league is very interesting is actually as a result of seeing new things such as serious competitions and more surprising things, because just like you said it becomes more interesting when we are seeing smaller clubs beating the higher clubs on there match because that was actually one of the reasons why Spanish La Liga this season was very interesting because in as much as they have a number of clubs that always have the best chances of wining the league but the improvement of most of the smaller clubs makes it more interesting because we could recall that sometime ago most of them were not performing well but seeing a club like Girona wining the kind of matches they were wining makes the league more interesting, so is also applicable to the champions League because it will surely make it more interesting if we are seeing some smaller clubs wining the bigger ones.

If you're being truthful to yourself you should have known that Real Madrid hasn't won a single Champions League on a platter of gold. It's always through a whole lot of pushing, hard work, and a mixture of luck that has made them win in the Champions League. You can't write off other teams' performance and assume that coming into this season they will still win it. From the play at the Euros and Copa America, notice that most of the real Madrid Star players are playing below their standard and if you look at the most resourceful players in each of the teams in the different continents, it's more from other clubs and less for the Real Madrid side.

Vini jnr, Rodrygo and Jude Bellingham who stood strong as the strong men in the real Madrid squared are still struggling at both the Euros and the Copa America and Mbape who's even coming in to support their attack isn't doing quite well for France.  We can't make any conclusions yet as to Real Madrid's ability to win another Champions League with this squad until the next season starts and I'm seeing this season favoring more of Manchester City even more than Real Madrid cause of the kind of play Doku and KDB are putting up, if they bring it back to the Manchester City team and Phil Foden maintain the kind of play he puts forward in the last season, it's going to be difficult for another team to win Manchester City.

I actually think that Real Madrid is such a good team when it comes to the Champions League competition that they make it look easy sometimes. Whenever they are playing a Champions League match, it is expected that they will perform incredibly well against any team. Nobody should actually think that the Champions League competition is easy for Real Madrid. After all the Champions League competition is the biggest competition in the world of football right after the World Cup in my opinion. And definitely the biggest club competition in the whole world.

I actually do not think Manchester City is going to be better than Real Madrid in this season's Champions League competition. Because Real Madrid will have Mbappé. And the attacking positions, specifically the striker position is the biggest problem that they had. I think Mbappé will fix that problem. Even though he is a left-winger, they will probably play him as a striker and Vini jr is going to be on the left wing.

I, on the other hand, think that from this year there will finally be the change of teams that we have been waiting for, Real Madrid and Manchester City are strong, it's true but it doesn't mean that they will keep up with the new clubs that are resurgent, I'm aiming a lot at Juventus who are is prepared for a war setup they have made an impeccable transfer and they can really have their say this year and then with so many Italian teams competing the possibility is high

I think that is an obligation that other teams have to do and maybe it requires strategy to a decent squad depth to be able to do it. If any team makes it to the final round and faces Real Madrid then it is clear that they will not be able to win the title and Real Madrid will be the champions. Therefore, before reaching the final round, Real Madrid must be knocked out in the quarters or semifinals because otherwise they will continue to dominate the Champions League.
Like last season where Manchester City eliminated Madrid before the UCL final and finally Manchester City became UCL champions for the first time stopping Madrid's dominance in the UCL by beating Intermilan in the final, but unfortunately last season Manchester City failed to eliminate Madrid. There was a clear opportunity for Madrid to chase the trophy. The UCL went smoothly and beat Dortmund in the UCL final, but in the new season there will be many surprises and I also hope that not only Manchester City but there are other teams that can beat Madrid but no one has been able to beat them except strong teams like Manchester City or Munich. Moreover, Madrid has the new strength of Mbappe, it is clear that it will also make it difficult for other teams to break their dominance in the UCL next season.
Exactly, that's the real picture and maybe that will continue to happen as long as no team can overthrow Real Madrid before the final match. Maybe there is a little hope for other teams to win against Real Madrid in the final round but it feels very difficult considering that the last time Real Madrid was runner up was in 1981 and that is still the longest record for a team competing in the champions league.

I think that even though there are always strong competitors as you have mentioned, it will still be very difficult if the team cannot beat the winning mentality that the Whites squad has. Just imagine, when Real Madrid concedes, they can always equalize or reverse the situation and if there is a team that can make Real Madrid feel frustrated then that will be an extraordinary thing and maybe Real Madrid will not be as strong as before.

They made it to the champions league doesn't mean that it's guaranteed they would have a good experience there and besides no team would take them for granted anymore as they are fully aware of their capability and know exactly they are can do. The champions league this season is no joke and another team everyone would be looking to stop would be Madrid as it would be a complete joke to allow them win again in the champions league.
All over Europe the strength that Madrid posses has been a center of attention such that it has become something most teams especially in the champions league would want to contend and possibly denied them of the title but then one thing has been sure and that is in the fact that Madrid still have the strength they have built and any team ready to contend them is definitely not going to find it any funny, it's definitely going to be a tough game for any of these teams.

But I believe Real Madrid and Manchester City will rule the roost, even though Manchester City went to Manchester City in the first season and finished at the bottom of the points table. But this season Real Madrid will surely stop Manchester City, because Real Madrid have added star players to the team. But they have performed without stars in the past and they have performed quite well. But we will be able to enjoy the toughest competition matches between these two teams and the betting will also be the highest pleasure.

let's always remember that from this year there will be a new champions league formula which will certainly give the possibility of having many more teams competing for the competition, there will be many more matches, the thing I don't understand is why before everyone was against the super league but then they invented something like this, distorting the competition and making it ridiculous. I personally don't like it but it will certainly be an advantage for the small clubs

Until the single match is played we cannot say for sure which team is stronger according to the team score.  Although the Manchester team from the east is strong and occupies the first place in the points table. But Mbappe alone should not be relied upon, he can never win a team alone. For this, it will be possible to predict the result of the match between these two teams, Real Madrid and Manchester Smriti.

Real Madrid will have a new captain next season as Luka Modric will take over the armband from Nacho Fernandez, whose departure from the club was announced earlier this week.
I believe that Luka Modric is an iconic captain only because he will not have too many appearances next season as one of eleven chosen players for Real Madrid debut squad. It will barely be possible for Modric to appear in their debut squad and he will play mainly as a substitution next season.

The main choice for Real Madrid's captain armband will belong to Dani Carvajal who still has good position and importance in the club.

Quote
The 38-year-old veteran midfielder has been at Real Madrid for 12 years now and has etched his name in the storied history of the club.

In his time at the Santiago Bernabeu, Modric has achieved great things and is already a legend of the club. Despite that, the hunger for success and the burning desire to scale greater heights remains intact.
Luka Modric did his smart decision because by staying at Real Madrid, he will have opportunities to win one or two more Champions League titles. With Mbappe next season, Real Madrid will continue to be one of strongest and most competitive teams in Champions League and might win it again. Playing 5, 10 or 15 matches as a substitution, it's not matter if at the end, he will lift Champions League trophy again.

Luka will help young midfielders in Real Madrid through training and valuable advice too.

Luka Modric is still part of the squad and will remain at the club for another season so I expect him to help nurture the younger players in the club with his experience.

It is imperative that things happen like this, a veteran like Luka Modric has to prepare the next players with his experience and skill, and I am sure he will do so, because he is a very human player, and it is clear that he loves Madrid, so having players with as much heart as him and a coach like Ancelotti, he will basically do things well. It cannot be denied that Mbappé is a very good player and that he will contribute a lot, but care must be taken because I have insisted on something, a midfielder of the quality of Kross or Modric is needed, I think that for Madrid everything starts from that point.

Four key goals Luka Modric wants to achieve as Real Madrid captain in 2024/25

Over the past 20 years, not a single Champions League title has gone to a small or even medium-sized club. Only the top teams took part in the division: only 9 clubs received 20 titles. If we take away Real, the situation would look more diversified, but still, the last time a small club took the title was 21 years ago and it was Porto. Therefore, if you look at the situation objectively, in each season it is easy to assume that one of the top will take the title, and given the fact that some clubs are in crisis, for example Barcelona, the choice becomes even smaller.
I do not know what you mean by top teams because the top teams in each of the leagues keeps changing with just few teams like Real Madrid, Bayern Munic, Barcelona and PSG being regularly at top four. Before, Man Utd and Chelsea were top teams and champions league regulars and even winners of the same league but you will agree with me that we are seeing something different lately. Next season champions league will see some of the supposed top teams absent in the tournament, in this case it becomes an incomplete statement to conclude that champions league is only for the top teams because defining what a top team should be is something very difficult to do.

By the way, there were rumors that Rabiot could continue his career in Real Madrid, but I see that he postponed the decision on this issue after the end of the Euro. He could very well replace Kroos, who retired. And Mbappe, Vinicius and Bellingham will play up front in any case, they are attacking players and it seems to me that there is no point in trying to place any of them in the midfield line.
No way!!!! It's very clear kroos's position already replaced by valverde, and real madrid is also having tchouameni. But, I can't deny that Madrid needs a new midfielder. It's to fill an empty spot after Valverde took kroos's position. And, there's no backup for Valverde.

About bellingham, do you forget this?. Bellingham played as attacking and central mid.

I think Bellingham won't play upfront. But, he will play behind Mbappe, who plays central striker. Then, Vini as left winger and, lastly, Rodygo as right winger.

Although Bellingham is nominally considered a midfielder, he still plays primarily in attack, and in this case Ancelotti will not be able to count on him in the midfield.
Ancelotti could really see that Bellingham had quite a high goal-scoring instinct, so he plotted Bellingham to move forward as a number 10 player to cover the central striker crisis that they had so far, What Ancelotti did turned out to be quite effective and was able to make Bellingham being one of the top scorers in last season, currently Mbappe arrival to Madrid has of course forced Ancelotti to re-think strategy and also appropriate positioning for Bellingham next season, as far as we know, Bellingham has his original position as a midfielder but I think He won't play as a midfielder if Ancelotti wants a really dangerous attack line next season.

Currently, Madrid is reportedly continuing to approach several new players to replace the retired Kroos, but it doesn't seem like Rabiot is Madrid's current target, Ancelotti is more interested in bringing in Bruno Guimaraes and Florian Wirtz as another solution for their midfield next season, but I think the need for midfielders is not the most urgent thing for Madrid now, because they still have a lot of young midfielders in their current squad.
With the current composition of players, Ancelotti can more freely apply any strategy, there is no doubt that his experiment has been running smoothly. Ancelotti has several lineup options for his front line, but what he might choose is to play Vinicius, Mbappe, Rodrygo with Bellingham behind them.

At first glance Madrid would have a too attacking team with these four players in one lineup, but I think we will actually see Ancelotti fielding them together next season, that would be a very good experiment. Apart from that, with the many competitions in which Madrid participates, it is possible for Ancelotti to rotate them according to needs.

On the other hand, regarding potential replacements for Kroos, it looks like Madrid will try to recruit Florian Wirtz from Leverkusen, although that will not happen in this transfer window. For next season, although several rumors are developing, Florian Wirtz is a more suitable player for Madrid, he could be the successor to another German player in Madrid.

Real Madrid rules the Champions League. They dominate finals like pros. Why? Its about their winning mindset, not simply the players. They keep going when they're losing. They can fix it. This makes them hard to beat.

How does this affect next season? It means everyone else has challenges. Mbappé will make them more hazardous. He's speedy, accurate, and will improve their offense. They may become unstoppable.

Manchester City must stop them before the final. They must beat them early before Real Madrid magic takes over. They're the team to beat in the final, according to history.

Although Bellingham is nominally considered a midfielder, he still plays primarily in attack, and in this case Ancelotti will not be able to count on him in the midfield.

Although Jude Bellingham plays as a midfielder for Real Madrid, he plays as a striker for the England national team. Real Madrid have recruited quality players to their club and by far the most talked about players are those who play for Real Madrid. Mbappe joins Real Madrid again If Mbappe doesn't mix well with all the other stars, it could lead to a bad situation in the dressing room as we saw at PSG. Mbappé is an arrogant player he didn't care much about other players when he was at PSG but if he wants to do the same at Real Madrid he won't care because Madrid has a good bond between all the other players. If the manager of Real Madrid can build a good relationship with each player, then the performance on the field will be much better.
