I just thought that goes too far when he said that. Dortmund in the final just hit the post, not the goal. They dominated the first half. No one cares about the salary to be given to players if they can be winning the trophies for you seaosn after season, the bonuses that come will that will weigh off the salaries you must have paid out to them already by end of the season. You invest money into what is worthwhile and not something that is not conceivable. Real Madrid still remain one of the favourites because of their great addition to the team which has increased their squad depth. They now harbour most of the talented young players that are long time prospects of every team and they did that within the span of less than a decade. No one does it better and they’ll enjoy this for another decade to come. Everybody knows Real Madrid's about one thing: winning. Not just winning, but winning the biggest prize out there: the Champions League. They avoid messing about with second place. Year after year they assemble their team for that trophy. They bring in the best players: Mbappe, you think thats cheap? But winning aint cheap, and for a reason they have more UCL crowns than anybody else.

Though they won not every little cup, they are the top dogs in the Champions League. They have discovered the recipe, and it is not only about flitting money about. Its about wise investments, strategic planning, and a lot of ambition overall. That is the Real Madrid approach; none else does it better.
