I think it is too early to conclude that Liverpool is not strong enough to compete in the next Champions League. It may be difficult for the new coach to continue with the level of Klopp but Liverpool can perform at the top level again. Mbappe will easily adapt to the club since he will have enough time to play. Mbappe will probably be the top scorer in La Liga next season because Vinicius and Rodrygo will make things easier for him.

The point is that Mbappe has come to the right place where he can win the Champions League title and maybe he can do it again and again while at Real Madrid. Moreover, the Real Madrid squad is currently in its prime so it is quite easy for them to dominate the Champions League during the season.

Even without Mbappe, Real Madrid always passes convincingly by passing every preliminary round and with Mbappe they are like flowing water without any blockages that could make it difficult for them to use all their abilities. So even if they face strong teams like Manchester City, Bayern Munich, Liverpool or others, they will have no problems at all next season.

I agree with you that Bayern Leverkusen is more than such rating in the champions league. Aston Villa used to be a very serious team then, from what I have read but they have been struggling to remain in the premiership until lately when they became better and even qualified for the conference league season before last followed by their qualification for the champions league this season. They are doing well but I will not be confident playing them or expecting them to make any serious impact in the champions league next season.

I wonder what their target for the Champions League is. Based on the news I've read, they still want to play in their home stadium, even though it is very small and will make them lose attendance revenue if they can't expand it further[1]. I'm not sure if there's any update to this, but judging from how strong their attachment to their home stadium shows that they want to go as far as possible in the Champions League. Qualifying past the group stage is probably the minimum target, or they might be the underdog and go as far as QF or Semis.

Despite all this their big name and good squad,if they do not stay humble and work in unity and corporation,they will still be eliminated.To me,the main reason why they won the Champions league this season is because they had this team spirit within themselves,they worked together,knowing fully well that there are teams that are better than them,but this winning mentality and team spirit they had made them stick together through tough moments in the different games they play,till they will get the results they want.That is what even made them win Dortmund in the final of that champions league game,else, Dortmund played them,created more chances than them,but could not score them.

Well that's the most popular opinion about it and I actually understand why everyone is of this opinion, I mean the likes of Liverpool, arsenal, Bayern Munich, PSG and so many who would have actually challenge these clubs have fall out of the hands of actually trying their very best although let's see what the future holds this season maybe some new team can shock the competition since we already have the likes of the wonder team present @xabi Alonso

The stance of Real Madrid still remains stronger and the best amongst all the teams that will be competing in the champions league next season. When you look at their squad they used to win the champions league, no doubt they’re are still the best in the competition and can win it again. Then, there comes another great footballer, Mbappe signed from PSG, who is also very ruthless in goals, I will call him a goal machine. With this addition into this squad, they still stand a good chance to win the champions league next season. As you’ve said, only Manchester City can stand them with this current squad and since from the day they eliminated Manchester City from the league, it was obvious that they’re going to win the champions league at the end of the day which they did. They are so strong that no team could stop them after they’ve removed their biggest rival Manchester City.
