Well, I don't know how, but that second half felt incredibly easy after we scored. I can't believe we actually turned that around if you solely base it on how we were playing in the first half. I'd love to be a fly on the wall in that dressing room at half time, because time, and time again Klopp seems to just turn it around. Diaz coming on definitely changed how we played, and what a player to have who is still relatively young for a football player.
I'm hoping for a Madrid vs Liverpool final, as I do believe that's our best chance. The thing is with City, and Liverpool its either a deadlock, a Liverpool mauling or City just manage to perform better than us on the day. So, while I don't think Madrid is a easy game by any stretch of the imagination, I do think it'll be the easier of the two. Not by much mind you, I just find Madrid are more prone to lapse of concentration, just look at the first half of the game against City, as an example.
Unpredictable final score. Liverpool finally escaped with a fairly high aggregate. 5 - 2 second half which was totally unexpected by me. Btw, Moh Salah playing without a goal is quite surprising. Almost many opportunities did not make a single goal scored. When Liverpool bounced back in the second half, I was quite impressed to see Diaz's contribution, who finally got the chance to score.
Congratulations to Liverpool for qualifying for the final, we are looking forward to an equally exciting match between Real Madrid vs Manchester City.
Liverpool in second half was really crazy and they managed to make an incredible comeback by creating 3 goals, I don't know what happened to Villareal in the second half so they didn't play as well as in the first half, a aggregate
5-2 victory made Liverpool have now set foot in the final and waiting for a commensurate opponent between madrid or manchester city, with liverpool successfully qualifying for the final and the aggregate advantage that manchester city has in the first leg, it is likely that we will see two english teams face each other later in the final.
