Maybe I have a biased perception, since I support Real Madrid, but such quotes suggest that the bookmakers are wrong. It is probably worth betting that Real Madrid will not lose - 2.65 is a very good odds.

I really don't bank on odds. Odds doesn’t matter. Although, these odds are made after a lot of permutations and statistics reading but it is worthy to note that football is played on the pitch not on paper. These bookmakers can be so wrong and this why bet companies are able to make their money off betters. It is no fluke why Manchester City is the favorite, they are at home so there have the advantage.

You are right, it is very difficult to determine who will win the game in this first leg, Real Madrid and Manchester City have their respective advantages which we do not know whether the opposing team will be able to reduce it or not. This match can be predicted at least after we see the gameplay of the two teams, who is more dominant and impressive they have a greater chance of winning.

It's hard to predict the winner in today's game... I guess City is the favorite, they dominate in the possession of the ball, and they have a great attack, but Real has shown how dangerous it can be against such opponents! They also said the same thing when Real Madrid played PSG and Chelsea, but luck was still on Real Madrid's side. @bering while that’s City’s weakness but it’s also their strength because Real Madrid will now have no idea who’ll turn up to score, and City has shown time and time again this season that they can do well without a striker. Furthermore Pep wants to win the champions league badly with City, and I feel that this season is his best shot at winning it with City plus I would also love to see City vs Liverpool in the finals.

It's going to be a big game against Real Madrid. We can tell how tough the match is. But, we can be more stronger than this. We now got the experience of getting into the finals, all be it that Real has experience in actually winning it, however their talisman in those wins is no longer there, namely Ronaldo. Lastly City just have to contain Benzema. I think that Dias and Laporte will handle that admirably. I just think City has that sort of calmness and savvyness this season ,to get through tough matches.

We have a much more interesting semifinal game today - and although the bookies put City as a favorite, I think this is as close of a 50-50 game as we can get.

City is technically a better team but Real has a huge CL experience and has a way of getting great results even when they aren't at their best. They also have Benzema in attack who needs only a half-chance to score, while City are missing a natural killer and will probably need to create more concrete opportunities.

They played against each other in 2019/20 season - with City winning both games 2-1 against Zidane's Real.

Since City is playing the 1st leg at home, I still feel that they will win today.
