Manchester United have been in a terrible state this season. People initially thought they will perform very well this season because they have one of the most toughest squad in the EPL with talented players. But, it turned out that they usually find it extremely hard to win consistently in their matches. However, they are currently 6 points behind Arsenal who are presently occupying the 4th position. Although, If they probably improve their performance, and avoid dropping points. They might succeed in ending the EPL in the top 4, and also secure a space in the Champion League next season.

But they do not have to do without Benzema? Am I missing something, I checked everywhere and he is neither injured nor booked for the game, which means that he should be able to play right? I mean the sentence "they can't do without benzema" sounds like he won't be playing but he will be playing and they can with him on the roster as we all have seen before. On paper Liverpool are indeed much better than Villareal, but it seems unreasonable to underestimate Villareal who managed to beat Bayern Munich to reach the semifinals. I think Liverpool can certainly be expected to win the game against Villareal more easily, but there is always the potential for defeat if Unai Emery's men play well during the match. I don't think Liverpool will have a hard time winning that match, but they need to anticipate the worst because Villareal are also targeting a win and qualifying for the final.

Yes indeed in terms of team strength and overall game, Liverpool deserves to be favorites for this semi-final. Did you watch the first match between Bayern and Villareal?
