History doesn't have a direct reflection on the club's performance it will only give the experience on the pitch, but both real Madrid and Liverpool have multiple records of champions league winning so I will not concentrate much on history but rather on the clubs' performances.
If you look at the historical record of winning the Champions League, it is certain that Real Madrid is the club that has won the most Champions Leagues, and even Liverpool themselves will not be able to compete with them even though Liverpool have also won the Champions League in the past.
But if you look at the club's performances, I think Liverpool are still the best among many clubs this season, and maybe next season will be even better than this season.

It's sad if Ronaldo can't play in the Champions League next season, so many rumors circulating that Ronaldo will return to Real Madrid.
Although I doubt Real Madrid will need Ronaldo again, considering they already have Benzema and Vinicius Junior. It is true that Ronaldo
can be placed in the right winger position, but that was when Ronaldo was still young. With the age of almost 40 years, it seems ineffective
to force Ronaldo to play on the right winger. Therefore, since at Juventus Ronaldo has been given a position as a striker, as well as when Ronaldo
played for Man United. Although Ronaldo's fitness is quite good, the age problem can no longer be tolerated. After all Ronaldo will most likely
respect his contract with Man United, so Ronaldo is likely to still play at Man United for next season.

players see not only money but career as well
if Ronaldo can't play the Champions League, well I see it badly for the team that owns him

I expect him to want to leave, he is no longer a boy
he want more than money

Real Madrid is a team you always have to keep in mind in the Champions League. They can occasionally have a lesser period, that team individually has so much quality that a match is completely turned around in a few minutes. We have seen that several times. Especially against Real Madrid it was almost unreal how they did that. If Benzema hadn't been on this team, they wouldn't have become champions. He has been very important. I hope for Real that he stays at Madrid.
Actually when it comes to Champions league, no Team in the whole world can compete with Real Madrid because of their vast experience in Champions league competition. They are the only team that have more than 10 Champions league titles, so when it's come to Champions league irrespective of their performance, they always show their vast experience in the Competition.

It's true it's just a record that becomes more motivation for the players to see their record in the past. But for performances it depends on their current form (when they play the game). But sometimes history affects the mentality of players which ultimately affects the final result. For example, team a is very difficult to beat team b, at the same time that difficulty is also difficult for them to break.
indirectly indeed records do not really affect the players in playing, but there are times when records give a team pride to continue to be able to maintain that record and coaches will usually make past records as motivation for players to continue to be able to achieve victory, and true as stated said by @maju69, sometimes the guts of a team will shrink because they really think if the other team is better than them and that will make their mentality down.

Yes, Real Madrid really performed wonders to achieved champion league title this season, because many people didn't believe that Real Madrid can defeated Manchester city and mighty Liverpool to embraced the title. Real Madrid strikers and defenders really helped the team to preformed well because Liverpool strikers tried their possible best to score goal in the first half to achieve the victory but Real Madrid defenders never allow such thing to happen in the champion league final than to defeated Liverpool 1-0 to achieved the title.

Real Madrid's success in winning their 14th in the European Champions League did make many people feel amazed by the performance shown by Carlo Ancelotti's men because since the start of the season they were not favorites at all to win the big ear title but this was proven by Ancelotti at where they managed to get rid of the three English giants in the quarter-finals to the final with the limited material they had after being left behind by many stars last season, but real Madrid showed their capacity as one of the strongest teams on the blue continent.

It is when matches are concluded that people begin to understand how football works. That is why so many of us lose bets in soccer. Football is not a rocket science and people that understands it have rest of mind.
Football is nothing without history, undermine history at your own peril when it comes to football. Everyone knows the history of Real Madrid and Champions league finals and yet we chose to ignore it. We saw how Benzema was eliminating great contenders like PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City with hatrick and brace, yet we chose to overlook it. It was after the finals we began to realise ourselves
I would call it a fitting for a fait accompli, when some experts find the reason for the victory is the victorious rich history of the club Wink History does not matter if one team is a head stronger and wins the match, but once a strong team loses, all sorts of otherworldly forces immediately begin to remember. I do not dispute that this has a certain impact on the final result, but the fact that the opposing team does not have such a large number of titles and therefore has a much greater desire to tip the scales in its favor can have exactly the same effect. Therefore, the main factor is the real strength of the team and only then other factors such as history and desire to win the title.
History doesn't have a direct reflection on the club's performance it will only give the experience on the pitch, but both real Madrid and Liverpool have multiple records of champions league winning so I will not concentrate much on history but rather on the clubs' performances.
But regarding yesterday's final, history is very important and it really happened, if you in yesterday's final bet on history then you get a big profit. Because if you remember, Liverpool were the favorite team in yesterday's final and that was reflected in their odds like Liverpool 1.95, Draw 3.75, Real Madrid 3.60. In this case the bookie and most people will probably bet with the majority, but if you bet based on facts and history then of course you will still choose Real Madrid in the bets you make. So, from this experience at least football is difficult to predict because sometimes history can make you win in betting but can make you lose. Considering their results and processes at the same time remains the most important thing, because history can not always be used as a benchmark.

Real Madrid needs to get new players because to build and strong team to compete. I read in a speculation that Real Madrid has allocated 400 million dollars budget for the transfer. I read today in a speculation that Cristiano Ronaldo was on Real Madrid's agenda.

There was some rumours regarding Cristiano Ronaldo to join Real Madrid in this transfer window but it was gone already in a short time. If this time is for real then I'm very excited about it already now. Cristiano Ronaldo has had his best years with Real Madrid so far surely. Therefore it sounds great to have him back there. But on the other hand this can be a problematic thing for Benzema. Because he is playing as a centre-forward now and he might have to play as a second striker or something like that when Ronaldo comes.
Cristiano Ronaldo can't participants on champion league next season if try staying with Manchester United after failed finish on champion league spot standing. But move to Real Madrid is not good option because Ronaldo can't get regular poaition actually on left side have settle by Vinicius Jr and Karim Benzema as central forward. Not agree if Real Madrid wabt to get back Cristiano Ronaldo because he can't on top performance again right now.
At this point, I'm thinking the same as you truthfully. Vinicius Junior and Benzema made an incredible duo in the past season and their places in the starting eleven are like guaranteed now. Cristiano Ronaldo is a legend and Real Madrid show a big respect to him as well. Still this might not be quite enough for him to be a regular in the starting eleven. Maybe he can be given the right winger position in the team. I checked his all-time stats and saw that he played as a right winger in 140 games before and he got 79 goals, 39 assists.

It's sad if Ronaldo can't play in the Champions League next season, so many rumors circulating that Ronaldo will return to Real Madrid.

If you're talking history, do not forget that Liverpool have have won this tournament 6 times, so they are also a team that have a history of winning the champions league multiple times, i know Real Madrid have won far more times than them, but in a final anything is possible. History do not play football, it was 22 quality players (from both sides) that did on that night, Liverpool put up the best performance they could and Madrid being the top team that they are, also gave their best, and in the end came Madrid came out on top in a good game of football, i do not see what history had to do with that.
We saw how Benzema was eliminating great contenders like PSG, Chelsea and Manchester City with hatrick and brace, yet we chose to overlook it.
Let us be honest, Madrid was very lucky to escape all three teams, they were on the brink of defeat against each of these teams, and across the 6 games (home and away) against these teams, Madrid wasn't the better team, especially against City, Madrid were lucky not to concede above 5 goals in the first leg at the Etihad, City were their own undoing. If there is something i would praise about Madrid's CL success, it is the mentality in the team and never say die attitude, after they miraculously escaped City, that was when i knew it was more or less written in the skies that they would be champions.

Almost every Champions League season we always see this team competing even during the Champions League season in the fight for the title Real Madrid has always been a subscriber to 17 finals won by winning 14 trophies to date and became the most teams to win the Champions League when they beat Liverpool in that match and the Final match Benzema played so beautifully that he was able to win this title.

Real Madrid have made a really good signing by adding Tchouameni into the team indeed. Real Madrid are getting stronger every year and they know how to invest in their future in a good way. This can mean that Real Madrid are going to be one of the biggest contenders for the Champions League title again for many more years. By the way they won this title four times in the past seven seasons. This has been a really big dominance of them and I'm curious about if they will maintain a good record in the future too.

It's very difficult for any team to break Real Madrid's record. Real Madrid are truly a very extraordinary team, this is probably the result of Perez's ambition in running real Madrid. After losing star players like Ronaldo and Ramos, it turns out that Real Madrid are still able to show their opponents that they are the best in the world today.

Because it wasn't the main players on the team that made them win. If it can still be said that Ronaldo was one of the most important players who made them strong, then there were several other players in defence who were just as strong in addition to Ramos. They have a great squad, so they win everything they see

maybe we deserve to mention that real Madrid is the best team in the world, let alone real Madrid is the only team that has 14 Champions League trophies even though they often lose star players but this has no effect on los Blancos in navigating the competition where they are currently this is also not very active in the transfer market where no star players have landed at the Santiago Bernabeu but they have an extraordinary sound mentality that they have shown in the champions league a few weeks ago where los blangko managed to get rid of three teams the English giants this shows that real Madrid doesn't just depend on its star players

Real Madrid didn't lose Ronaldo, he left of his will because he felt he was no longer appealing in the eyes of management. (who knows he felt tormented by Messi career). Grin

He was right leaving, but the club he went to was the wrong decision. Assuming he came back then to the premier league (to Manchester City)  probably the story today would had been different. Lots of speculation surrounded Ronaldo departure including rumors of Real Madrid wanting to buy Neymar after rejecting Ronaldo salary increase bid. Also Zinedine Zidane has just departed from the club (the first time) and he (Ronaldo) has basically won it all and broken records at Madrid so what was the need of his stay if  the clubs wasn't giving him his respect.

A player just contributed massively to your club lifting of three straight champions league trophy (record that might never be broken anytime soon) and you can increase his salary as a show of appreciation. Then there was rumors of you wanting to pay big for signing of Neymar, if I was in his shoes I'll also feel disrespected.

They are a great team and I think everyone knows about that. The dominance of the current Champions League title is Real Madrid, no other team has won 14 titles so far apart from just them.

They will still be title contenders next season, but I don't think they can defend the title especially because the senior players will be getting older next season. Benzema, Modric, Kross and several other players have been unreliable throughout the season mainly because of their busy schedules. So there is hope that other teams including Liverpool will use it to win the Champions League title next season.
Real Madrid has made an unbreakable record so far in the championship history after making the 14th winning this is huge for the club even though Liverpool tried so much to win this year, but with the exit of players like Benzema real Madrid needs a new tactical formation.
