I dont think PSG will be relying or targeting on a draw only as it can be something really bad.
If they want to go further, they should try their best to beat Real Madrid again.
The goal difference is not safe enough to make them try to get a draw only as Real Madrid will do everything they can to win the game.
To be honest I don't think PSG is one of the teams with the best defense so far. In the league they have conceded 24 goals from 27 matches which means they are almost conceding 1 goal per game. A draw and focusing on defense may not be the best option for them today vs Real Madrid. PSG have to perform better than the first leg and they have to have good finishing stats compared to the first leg.
I don't want Pochettino to adopt a defensive strategy against Real Madrid because if he does then I'm sure Real Madrid will score and qualify for the quarter-finals. PSG must fight hard to score away goals to reduce Real Madrid's chances because Real Madrid will definitely be eyeing a quick goal today.
fortunately this season there is no longer a home and away goal advantage, all are calculated from the total goals scored. Real Madrid are only 1 goal behind and if they can lead by 1 goal then this match will be continued in extra time and in my opinion a 1 goal advantage is not an excessive advantage for PSG, in fact now they are under pressure because they are playing at home to Real Madrid.
the possibility of both teams both playing openly and attacking each other with the composition of the players of these two teams I think there will be many goals created in this match when they both play attacking.
in UCL matches, the tension in the match is much higher than playing in the domestic league and when both teams are inhabited by star players, here I see who will qualify for the next round not only by using the star players in their respective teams but the mentality of the team is very influential to win this match.
This is a very difficult match because the chances of both teams are still 50-50.
