Tomorrow, there are two games waiting to be played. Chelsea are going to play against Lille in Stamford Bridge. Chelsea are very highly the favourite side to win this game comfortably. I give zero probability for Lille to even draw with Chelsea here. We don't have the Lille in last season so their chance is very low in this matchup. Chelsea would finish the job by defeating Lille by at least two goals in the first leg already. And there is a Villarreal - Juventus game too. Bookmakers are favouring Villarreal by a slight difference. And I also think that they won't lose but the probability of a draw is quite high to me. I expect Juventus to have a good result before the second leg.

Expect an interesting game in Spain tomorrow - Villarreal vs Juventus! Bookmakers are giving very good odds for both teams to score - 2.0... I don't know who might be stronger in this match, but I think we will see an exchange of goals... Wink

I think this match is going to be really competitive and in my opinion Juventus might play a little aggressive in this match. So I would not be surprised if they score the first goal of the match. And looking at the defense of both the teams I think it's quite obvious that both teams might score in this match. But both teams will also certainly go for the win.

Real Madrid has nothing to prove, the have been the better team for a very long time now and have won it all. If PSG was to win them in the second leg and progress to the next stage;f the tournament, it won't be a surprise as that's what we all are expecting. Will Real Madrid put up a fight, yes of course but that doesn't mean they'll be able to stop PSG from progressing. This PSG team has it all to win the champions league. I'm even surprised they found it difficult to win the first leg convincingly.

Indeed if you look at the performances in the 1st leg Madrid were very bad they were not as usual. In contrast, PSG dominated. But you need to remember the second leg they will play at the Bernabeu, I think madrid will perform very differently from the first leg. They will certainly take advantage of the situation at home, Madrid still have a chance to qualify for the next round. They'll meet on March 10th and it's still quite a while. I hope Benzema can perform, Madrid really need him because no player can replace his current position in Madrid.

Even if that's the case, their opponents are far superior now, especially now that Chelsea were the UCL champions last season, of course they have quite strong ambitions this season as well.
Personally, I really want to have high hopes but if you look at Lille's current performance, I really feel pessimistic for them.
But this is football, it's possible for them to make a surprise like Sarzburg did against Bayern

I guess they are going to manage their next two CL games relatively solidly, but afterwards when they are going to face one of the heavy weights I won't be so optimistic for them anymore. Sure as we have seen in the league even Manchester City can drop a game at home against Tottenham, but in two games I would say that City almost always beats Chelsea considering their current performances.

Biggest game to watch will be Real vs PSG. As there is now no rule with goals scored away counting double, this is going to be a hell of a close game.
I think the same as you because indeed qualifying here is not a guarantee and in fact it will be even stronger because indeed they will be up against an even stronger team.
For the opponent Lille there may be no doubt but after that it is quite difficult to predict because we also have to see which opponent will be played next.

Even for Real v PSG, this is still a question mark, of course Madrid don't want to leave easily, especially with an aggregate of 1 goal, the opportunity is still wide open for them.
But if you look at the first leg I think they will still survive and struggle now even if they play at the Barnabeu.

Current odds for "who will qualify" are
Bayern 1.05
Salzburg 10.0

So this doesn't look encouraging for Salzburg. They are going to need 110% power plus a huge amount of luck to survive this. It looks like a relatively safe passage for Bayern. But there are still some games in between, let's see how Bayern will play those, they didn't look so good in their last games (except the 2nd half against Greuther Fuerth)

These odds are even less than those of the last opponent of Bayern, Greuther Furth. If I remember correctly their odds were 1.07. Of course, I understand that Bayern will win, but such a forecast looks unfair - why can't Salzburg, for example, win on a successful counter attack or wait until the penalty shootout and win there? I hope this attitude will add strength and sports anger to the players of Salzburg and we will see a good game of two strong opponents.

Although the possibility could happen, but Salzburg is not strong enough than Bayern Munich. The results often in the first leg I see it as a stroke of luck for Salzburg because Bayern Munich didn't play like they used to. In the second leg I'm sure Bayern Munich will not repeat what they did in the first leg.
I am very sure that Bayern Munich will win in the match in the second leg.

Salzburg 10.0 is a pretty tempting bet at the same time with a pretty interesting payoff for us to consider.

Leg 2 is still quite long, so it is likely that both clubs will further improve each other's style of play. What's more, Bayern have a better level of quality. Hopefully that can be the point where they lead the match in Leg 2 with a satisfying result.

There is a lot of people surely out there betting hundred thousands dollar on bayern munich to get through the next round with such low odds as they knew it's a guaranteed one despite a bad result in the first leg , i often seeing something like this crazy people with huge bankroll . Big stake on a very low odds .. that's not really my style.
I do the contrary , loving to bet on a super huge odds with super low stake , in this case ... betting on salzburg are really tempted me! With their performance i think the mission impossible could be done!

Well, I don't know,
really don't think that this will be the best use of your money.

Obviously, I and a lot of other people can be wrong, and maybe Bayern Munich might lose this match, but The chances are really low of this happening.

But, I think this is a clever move because if by any chance Bayern Munich loses a lot of people who will lose a lot of money, and if they win, people will win but not that much. And on the other hand, if Salzburg wins and the bet is low, it's a low-risk high reward situation. So, I think this could be really clever and illogical at the same time.

Unpopular opinion: Manchester United will win the champions League I can feel it, I know so many will criticize, but the feeling is strong, I know the team is not currently that fit to win the league as so many would thknk. But I believe in the team... Bruno Fernandes really needs that trophy!
I believe the UCL belongs to Manchester United this season....

I agree with you here because i just can not imagine that Bayern shows such a bad performance like the one in the first half of the first leg against Salzburg again in the second leg, because now they know if they are playing that way again the chances to be eliminated from the Champions League are very high, so i am pretty sure that they will be able to get a grip and show a solid performance.
Bayern are lucky to have an easy opponent in Champions League. With their strength, they will beat Salzburg in aggregated result. I know how bad they performed in the first leg but they still have a second leg to fix it. Anyway, result in the first leg is not too bad for Bayern but still disappointed for them and their fans.

Salzburg have good journey so far but I don't think they will be able to beat Bayern eventually. If they can, hmm it will be one of biggest shock this season in Champions League.

Quote
I think we can all agree that if both teams show their normal perfomance level then Bayern should be the team that will advance into the next round. I still think though that anything can happen in the second leg. Bayern was playing very badly again this weekend against the worst club of the Bundesliga and was even 0-1 behind in the half time break, so this can also happen again against Salzburg.
In the first leg, Salzburg performed well and Bayern performed worse than they usually do. Will they keep perform like this in the second leg. To win in final result, Salzburg will need to have both conditions which are probably hard to be seen.

But I still think that Salzburg is going to give them a good fight, but that might not be enough actually.

Salzburg will come into that game with high hope and that might give them some fighting chance. They will try to sit back and absorb all that Bayern will throw at them. If they can catch Bayern off guard with a counter and get the first goal then Bayern Munich are in for a game. Personally I don't want Bayern to leave the competition this early as I want a clash between them and PSG or Manchester City. Them leaving now will just make the competition less competitive.

I really don't think that Bayern Munich is going to be eliminated by Salzburg. And I don't think Salzburg is going to win the second leg.

If that happens then it will be a really amazing thing to witness. But, I believe Bayern Munich is going to be ready for them and we all can agree that even though their opponent gave a good fight to them, eventually they will lose to Bayern Munich. I mean even if I want to think that Bayern Munich is going to lose the second leg, I can't.

The draw that was obtained from RB Salzburg vs Bayern Munchen was just a mere luck, especially since Bayern Munich did not appear adamant in the first leg, because right now they are more focused on the second match which will be held at the Allianz arena in munchen, we are very confident in the second leg later the bavarians will not provide an opening for the Norwegian team, the Bayern Munich squad will definitely deny RB Salzburg at their own headquarters, although in the first match the RB Salzburg defense was quite convincing how to withstand the onslaught of the Bavarian team, but for the second leg itself they will definitely be beaten badly by Bayern Munich and we can be sure that they will definitely have a goal feast at their own home because Bayern Munich don't want to make mistakes like the first when hosted by RB Salzburg team

I think it will be a hard knot to crack for Salzburg to beat Bayern Munich in Germany moreover in the game of football anything is possible.
I see Bayern Munich winning with ease in this encounter I don't see Salzburg stopping them not even in their home ground ground in Germany.

They strong to defend in the first leg, Munichen dominance leaving them relying solely on counter-attacks. Fortunately, they got a first-leg draw.  For the next match, it looks like Munchen will also dominate even maybe they will win big. They are very superior at home opponents especially later in the Alianz arena. They seemed to draw enough and didn't concede to qualify for the next dase. And I firmly believe that Munchen is a strong candidate in the next round.

Salzburg in the first leg was a good defense even though it was a draw but Bayern Munich's dominance was quite large in the second leg I think Bayern didn't pass Salzburg this is a very tough fact Bayern are still trying to balance in the first leg

1,1 is odds a small chance but I am optimistic that Bayern Munich will win, if something unexpected happens, especially if Salzburg can win then it will be a surprise as I know Bayern are better in the UCL with their many goals.

Playing at Allianz is a great desire for its fans.

I agree, Bayern Munich will come into this game with a lot of caution in defense and more prepared than in the previous game, they will probably want to score a lot of goals early and then focus on containing the opponent so that they don't give them space to counterattack too much, this one it will be a very interesting game to watch because in case they lose without a doubt it will leave space
for City or even liverpool to be champions

Atletico Madrid - manchester united

this will be a game in which manchester united will win even if they play badly, Atletico Madrid is bad

I will also put Manchester United ahead in this match. Because their performance is a bit weak but their squad is very strong. And if the players can play well, they have the potential to score a lot of goals. Atletico Madrid, on the other hand, are worse off than Manchester United. However, if Suarez and Griezmann are in good form, they may win the match. But these two players are not playing well. The first match is most likely to be a draw.
I will like us to examine this match very well, I'm not seeing this match as an easy ride for Manchester United. These arw my reasons;
1. Both Atletico Madrid and Manchester United are in a bad form, the poor form of Atletico Madrid may be understandable because their top players are not doing well for now. But then, Manchester United players are playing well but they have team problem. Champions league is different from local leagues. You may be doing bad in your league and become wonderful in the Champions League. Besides, manchester united may be relaxed now and be believing they are back in form while ATM know they are bad in form and will put in their best.
