You may be right because I also think that Liverpool were more convincing at home than at Inter yesterday. Liverpool will have no trouble winning games at home, but Inter should not be allowed to try more shots on goal either.

In the second leg Martinez and several other Inter players had the opportunity to change things for the better by winning the game by more than 2 goals. It's still possible although I firmly believe Liverpool won't lose. What is certain is that Inter should not be underestimated because they are also very ambitious to qualify for the next round.
When you play against Liverpool, being ambitious is not enough. Liverpool are superior to Inter in so many ways, they are faster and more technical. It should also be taken into account, that at the playoff stage in the Champions League, the team receive very solid payouts for the victory, so the players will be motivated not only to play a draw, because this is enough, they will want to win, especially in front of their fans.

Now Inter has nothing to lose, therefore the second match will be more interesting and we may three or more goals. On the other hand I think Liverpool will use their advantages (0-2) and even try to score more and more goals instead of choose locked game.
Nothing to lose how? they are 2 goals down and have the burden to catch up. While Liverpool they have provisions for the second leg so that they can add points so this will certainly not be ignored by Klopp who is always nimble in strengthening his backline. If you pay attention to yesterday's match, Liverpool always attacks from the 60th minute to the 90th minute.

In football everything can change even if it looks impossible. Before the final whistle there will still be a chance. Looking at last night's game Inter were not without chances, but they could not take advantage of the chances that had been created. It looks like Inter and Liverpol's capacities are different, Liverpool are a little bit better. Talking about the chances in the 2nd leg was like an impossible mission. Maybe Liverpool will be much better because they play in England.
Inter had more chances than Liverpool to score throughout the match, but in the end they didn't manage to score until the end of the match. I myself almost thought the match would end goalless or draw because Liverpool did not appear convincing from the start. But Liverpool got lucky after Firmino scored the first goal with a header and it dampened Inter's spirit to win.

This is a good start for Liverpool in the round of 16 because now they have a greater chance of qualifying for the next round. In the second leg Inter will be heavily pressured to win the match even though they haven't missed a chance to qualify either. Of course Liverpool must be aware of this possibility because Inter can also score goals if they have a good chance.

The game between Liverpool and Inter Milan has been great. However, the number of balls from Milan is much higher which was 54% near Liverpool and 48% on Milan's feet. Inter Milan had 9 shots aimed at the goal post, while Liverpool had 12 shots, 2 of which were great.

I can say that Firmino and Mohamed Salah have played well for Liverpool, although they have scored one goal each. Inter Milan scored early but the ball was offside. So Milan gets a little worried and they lose their morale. They even had to digest 2 goals in the end.

Liverpool surely going to beat Inter in the 2nd leg also in my opinion. Liverpool already has a lead of two goals and they also got that in the away match. So, I think it will be really hard and quite impossible for Inter to beat Liverpool in their(Inter) away match.

About Liverpool, I think they are going to win the second leg easily because they already have the lead of two goals from their away match and the second leg is going to be played in their home ground. So, I wouldn't stress about it if I were Liverpool.
If you are already 2 points ahead, it is possible that Liverpool's defense will be strengthened and you don't want to miss out on the hard-earned points. That too became a comeback point when Liverpool received pressure from the first half. So in Leg 2, Liverpool will have a more ambitious target so as not to concede a single goal. Inter have heavy demands to be able to catch up with 2 points from yesterday's match.

Another chance for Inter is that the away goal will no longer matter.  If it was the old rule, England should have scored at least 3 goals and not conceded, but now the game goes to overtime with 2 differences.  Even if he wins 3-1, 4-2, he can go to overtime.  Inter should prepare very hard for the rematch.  Currently, we see the success of English clubs in world football.  Even if the chances are low, they have to try.

Now Inter has nothing to lose, therefore the second match will be more interesting and we may three or more goals. On the other hand I think Liverpool will use their advantages (0-2) and even try to score more and more goals instead of choose locked game.

Liverpool will also win at home, I don't think Inter will be able to play at least a draw in England. I said yesterday that the odds of 2.1 for Liverpool to win is a gift from the bookmakers. But Bayern surprised me, I didn’t expect that they would play in a draw, but it’s good that I didn’t bet on them, because of the small odds. Perhaps the absence of Neuer had an effect?

Inter Milan don't have good record against Liverpool. I remember Inter Milan with Ibrahimovic lost in Giuseppe Meaza against Liverpool with Torres and Gerrad. It's a 0-2 defeat just like the one yesterday. In that season, Inter Milan can not make surprise flippening in Anfield.
With what 2 teams shown yesterday, the chance for Inter Milan is very low. Liverpool will have both big advantage result and home stadium in the next match. Klopp made a humble speech in press conference but he just wants to keep his players on the ground. The advantage for Liverpool is not small and it won't be easy for Inter Milan to win against Liverpool more than 2 goals. The game is almost over for Inter Milan.
Just as I thought before, both Inter Milan and Liverpool took the initiative to play attacking football, so it makes a spectacle that is quite interesting to watch. I think both teams are evenly matched, but Liverpool has a better finishing touch than Inter Milan. Inter Milan does still have hope in the 2nd Leg, it's just that it's going to be a tough struggle because the 2nd Leg will be held at Anfield, and to be able to win by a goal difference of more than 2 at Liverpool's lair is not an easy task.

I think it should have been quite easy for everyone to predict that Liverpool is going to win against Inter Milan because obviously, Liverpool is the better side. And they also showed it in the match. They didn't have the best match ever but still, they came out with a two-goal lead from an away match. And it should also be really easy to predict that Liverpool is going to win the second leg as well.

It is very difficult to expect Inter to bounce back in the second leg at home to Liverpool, although it is still possible but I very much doubt Inter can do it and make it through to the quarter-finals.

Despite not performing well, Liverpool managed to beat Inter with a score of 0-2 so I believe Liverpool will qualify for the quarter-finals. Liverpool only need to draw in the second leg or not lose by more than 3 goals to qualify and that is very possible for them. I think Liverpool will be stronger at Anfield in the second leg and they will secure a place in the quarter-finals.

Speaking for Bayern Munich, it would have been the biggest surprise of the night if Coman had not scored in the final seconds.  Although, the most surprising result of the four matches played was Bayern Munich's draw.  In the Inter match, the expected happened and Liverpool won 2-0.  They will not give Inter a chance in England.

It is difficult for Inter Milan to turn things around in the second leg later. Because they will play away, Liverpool will benefit of course because they get support from their supporters directly. Although the possibility of Inter can win is there, but judging from their game in the first leg yesterday, I don't think that Inter Milan will be able to do that.

I see Inter Milan's attack is quite good, it's just that the finishing is not good and I think what is in place in the Inter Milan striker is too old, Lautaro Martinez replaced by Sanches of course no one is faster to finish the goal and this lost quickly to the Liverpool defender .
Liverpool have a sharp striker that makes Inter Milan have to submit because for me Inter Milan's game after missing one goal is getting weaker instead of attacking.
Small chance in the second leg I don't think Inter can win.

Actually, the attacking side of Inter Milan is good but the defending of Inter Milan is quite shaky at the back. I think the attackers worked well but the Liverpool defenders were on top of their game and didn't make any mistakes. And in the second leg, Liverpool is going to play in home conditions and I don't think they are going to lose.

Inter Milan players well through out the game and dominated but at end never took their chances and Liverpool scored. It was difficult match but you got the needed 3 points. Inter Milan have themselves to blame for this disappointingly mediocre defeat. They were the better side and should have buried at least one of those neat chances. There is no way they can win in Anfield. I don't see Inter Milan progressing. Not with this kind of unproductive performance. I know football is unpredictable, unless Liverpool have a very bad day at Anfield like how Atletico Madrid got past them the last time they were eliminated.

Their dominance could not last until 90 minutes because indeed in the 60 minutes of the second half I felt that even Liverpool played the ball more and it was very difficult for Inter to compensate for that. In addition they lost their focus after Firmino scored a goal in the 75th minute which made their game decline in protecting their respective territories which made Salah freely score Liverpool's 2nd goal 8 minutes later.
it will be very difficult for Inter later but I am not too surprised by this result because from the start I definitely felt like this

I hope the upcoming matches will not weaken the mentality of the Inter Milan players. This result clearly makes inter have to go through a steep road to advance to the quarterfinals. Inter must win by more than two goals in the second leg at Anfield!!! Liverpool did more than the expected from them last night, It was an exciting game. Liverpool is stronger than Inter Milan. But everybody was expecting Inter Milan to win an easy match. They made it a battle though and showed their strength. But in the end, Liverpool was the better team. As a result, Sportsbet paid out my bet.   Grin

That really was a great game to watch yesterday and in the end i think that Liverpool was not the better team yesterday but simply the more lucky one as for me both teams were completely at the same level yesterday and a 2-0 win for Inter was just as possible as the 2-0 win for Liverpool or a draw.

Inter really tried. It's some sort of bad luck for them. Whenever you play the reds in home or away matches, you need to be very afraid. Liverpool leads 2-0 going into the second leg at Anfield thanks to goals from Firmino and Salah. However, these results don't reflect the match's true outcome. The whole game was controlled by Inter Milan, but they missed so many opportunities, which is why they got punished. The hosts didn't shoot on target at home, and I don't see them having any chance in England.

Bayern Munich and Salzburg basically have something in common about dominating their respective leagues, but even though they have such similarities it is clear they have different qualities. Having different qualities in many factors it can still give Salzburg a good result at home by being able to draw a big team like Bayern Munich at least it's a great achievement for them too. There is still the 2nd Leg to be played at the Allianz Arena, I think it will be a match where Salzburg can't do much to stop Bayern Munich, or maybe Salzburg can still hold Bayern Munich interesting to watch.
RB Salzburg were really surprising in this match they really took advantage when playing at home and took advantage of the supporters' advantage very well.
even though they were completely locked up, their chances were quite a lot, especially in the first half.
Besides that, I also appreciate Kohn's play in this match. He made several saves which were quite good although he did not manage to withstand the onslaught in the last minute.
good enough for Sarzburg in the first leg but on the other hand maybe the 2nd leg will not be as good I think

Of course everything is possible and the history of Champions League shows that there were many amazing come back.
How about Inter? They have the chance to do the same but they have to work hard for it.
Basically the winning of Liverpool is not that special last night, both team did not play special as well but Liverpool is lucky enough to maximize the chance to score goals.
