yeah, I expected that Bayern will clear out everything in first match, but they will need a good home match to pass-through into next phase
not I doubt them, I believe they will pass-through, but they killed all my tickets last night, because only two goals were scored

now back to lower range competitions, Europa league and Conference league today

Bayern Munich and Salzburg basically have something in common about dominating their respective leagues, but even though they have such similarities it is clear they have different qualities. Well, I lost my bets as well! My bet on Inter vs Liverpool was both teams to score, and it's not like Inter didn't have a chance to score! But it is what it is, as you say, probably many people lost together with Bayern draw, I didn't expect that... I guess next game we can play all-in on Bayern, or we can try it, but what if we see another surprise? That looks possible, right?

Well - result-wise I agree with you of course. But I was actually surprised with how good Inter played during most of the game. They pushed high and were really physical and Liverpool could not keep their rhythm or keep posession in a calm manner.

Eventually we scored from a set piece (again) and a deflected Salah shot so the result is great but it would have also been fair if Inter won the game. They deserved a far better result with their performance.

Talking about fairness, I would have love to see Inter Milan draw or win that game. Liverpool were outclassed by Inter Milan. They brought the defeat to themselves. At some point I did not understand why Inter Milan kept passing on 1 on 1 situations. They could've easily ended the game even before Liverpool started scoring. Honestly Inter Milan deserved something from that game but their final decisions in the last third with Liverpool's line so high should have been better for Inter Milan. Klopp made the right subs at the right time when Inter was taking control in the second half. Inter defended well until the stunning header by Firmino broke the deadlock. I do get the feeling that the tie is not over.

I lost my bet on Inter yesterday and I even had them +1 at handicap meaning if they lost by one goal I would get my money back but they screw up in the last minutes of the game.I think it is impossible for them to turn things around in Anfield where we know how great the fans are.

Liverpool played very well and they deserved to win this match and of course with a result that got 2 goals without reply from Inter Milan it would be very easy for them to advance to the next round, considering the 2nd leg will be played at Liverpool Anfield stadium.

in another match Bayern Munich really struggled to score against FC Salzburg despite the many attacks that were built by Bayern players but fortunately at the last minute Kingsley Coman could score and avoid Bayern from defeat.
I think the 2nd leg which will be played at home to Bayern Munich will also be very fierce considering FC Salzburg has a very strong defense and a dangerous counter-attack, maybe Bayern will have a little difficulty to advance to the next round.

Even thought Bayern might advance over salzburg, salzburg did well yesterday against a strong side like Bayern Munich. At the end they felt it was almost over then they conceded, they defended really well against a strong attacking side like Bayern Munich. The salzburg goal keeper was really outstanding last night, he made some incredible saves, salzburg had the chance to extend their lead but they missed an important chance then they slipped and conceded. We all expected Bayern Munich to win, the odds were in their Favour.

I'm sure that Bayern will defeat Salzburg in the next game.1-1 is a good result away from Munich and the Austrian team actually isn't so weak,even though it can't be compared to Bayern.
I was reading some statistics about Bayern receiving 12 goals in the last 10 games.They definitely have some problems in their defense,so I don't think that Bayern is going to be the biggest favorite for winning this year's edition of the UEFA Champions League.
I wasn't surprised to see PSG winning against Real Madrid,but PSG will have a hard time in the next match against Real.
Liverpool and Man City winning against Inter and Sporting was pretty much expected.

Due to their draw yesterday the quote of Bayern to win the Champions League fell by quite a bit from 4.0 to 5.5. They are now the 3rd team behind Manchester City (3.25) and Liverpool (4.50). There is quite a high chance that we will see a winner from England again this year!
