Liverpool have 6 wins in 6 matches. Milan finished last in the same group. Atletico Madrid finished second and Porto third. It was the other team that won 6 games in 6 matches in Ajax. Sporting Lisbon beat Dortmund with goal difference. Thus, they successfully finished the group. Champions league matches will continue tomorrow.
Atletico take the 2nd place... This red card for Porto was stupid, mean irresponsible behavior that gave an excuse to show the red card of Wendell.
Action for today in my opinion was 2nd goal by Marco Reus, what a 2 smart tricks!

Initially, Athletico Madrid wasn't favorite for this game,but immediately after the double red card to Porto, Athletico Madrid showed they are class by adding two more goals.

What a night it was! There were 6 red cards in 8 champions league matches played. The match with the most red cards was the Porto-Atletico Madrid match. Atlético Madrid won the match 3-1. With this result, Atlético Madrid left the group. Porto will continue on its way in the Europa League.
Borussia Dortmund beat Beşiktaş 5-0. Borussia Dortmund, who shot 29 shots throughout the match, made a strong impression with his effective game. Still, they finished the group in third place with overall average and went to the Europa League. They could be one of the favorite teams in the European league this year.

Beşiktaş had a really bad group stage. The fact that they scored only 3 goals shows this. It reminded me of Euro 2020 Turkey. It was a very painful experience for them to score so few goals and return without points. On the other hand, Ajax finished first in the group. They've won all their matches. They are doing very well this year.

It was like one of their training games for Dortmund to be honest. They dominated the whole game from the start to the end and deserved this huge victory completely. Haaland continued to score here too. He entered the game in the 63rd minute and scored 2 goals. He is just not an ordinary striker. I think that he's already proven that he is one of the bests already now.

I'm a bit sad that Milan didn't even qualified to Europa league and finished last. But it's death group and someone had to die. Liverpool won without most of main players. Milan had their chances, like Kessie who failed to score in the end. BTW, quality of pitch in San Siro looks awful.

Didn't watched Real - Inter game. I expected something more from Inter, but Real now in very good shape.
Shakhtar is probably biggest disappointment for me in UCL. Last place in group with just 2 points with good squad and so much money spent in summer. While Sheriff is biggest surprise. Small club from not existing country with 7 points and they will continue in Europa league.

I would like to congratulate Atletico Madrid for managing to promote to the upper stage of this tournament. They had to win and they did it by a 3-1 result. And they were lucky that Milan lost to Liverpool. Porto - Atletico Madrid game was interesting though. After seeing that the first half ended 0-0, I was expecting Atletico Madrid to win by 1-0 or so. But in the last minutes, we watched three more goals.

Atletico just scored the second goal and given the fact that Milan is losing to Atlético, it gets into the playoffs from the second place. Someone made easy x4 (it's a pity that it wasn't me, although these obviously erroneous coefficients surprised me a lot).
Already 3-0 in favor of Atlético lol.
Taking into account how the teams played after the break, this round turned out to be very productive.
Even though Atletico Madrid weren't being favored much for advancing to the next stage, they really made it there. They managed to destroy Porto away by 3-1. And Milan's losing to Liverpool by 1-2 in their home game helped Atletico Madrid a lot. They were at the last place but now they are in the next round. Milan should be really disappointed for not even going to the EL. They need more experience here to get accustomed to the tournament again and achieve better things. They weren't able to join this tournament for a long time.

Actually, he has doing well in the Champion's League as compared to Ligue 1. I already knew Liverpool will go for 100% record in the the Champions league. I already knew they like history. But I didn't know Klopp will be so heartless to fixture Salah.

Too bad for Milan. They needed a win with a good goal margin to qualify for the knockout stages but lost their major opportunity to do so because they relaxed after scoring that goal.it loojs impossible now considering Atlético Madrid is also winning against Porto.
Madrid has increased their lead against Inter. I wasn't expecting anything since Barella has already been sent off earlier in this half.
I might missed something but why Guardiola put key players in this game? City already secured the first place.. Now they lost the service of Walker and De Bruyne got a yellow card in addition to Stones.. In the other game of this group PSG won, Messi scored twice and Leipzig to Europa League.
I am feeling it's very strange from Guardiola that his team already having top rank, and he is still going with full squad which now have some issue for him in first match of knock out stage he can drop few and give chance to few youths for better experience but nothing happen, and now they have Walker out and De Bruyne with Yellow Card not good signs for them.Leipzig is good club, and they have done good job in last season in German League, so they were able to quality for this year's Champions League but sadly this year now they are very poor and having no better spot, let's watch how they respond in Europa League with this form. In this season they are struggling badly and have 11th spot in Bundesliga. Recently management fire coach hopefully this change bring some good fortune for them in League.
Every minute, Real Madrid are getting closer to a win and securing their lead in their group at the same time. They got ahead by Kroos' goal in the 17th minute. And the Inter player Barella got a red card in the 64th minute. This has made things even more difficult for Inter. They have to win to be able to take the lead and it doesn't seem like probable. I guess Real Madrid would score the second one too and finish the job.
