Thomas Tuchel has proven himself without a doubt that he's a good manager that longs for trophies. He has already achieved his aim of building a team that clubs will be afraid to play against. Yesterday's match between Chelsea and Juventus made me understand that Tuchel has built a formidable force in Chelsea that can't be broken easily.  50matches managed so far by Tuchel in Chelsea(38 wins and 12 lost). I like the fact that Chelsea players are more consistent in winning matches than before during Lampard time as head coach

Barcelona was so lucky yesterday - did you see that Benfica chance at the end of the game? Jorge Jesus said that he never saw anything like it in football which is of course overreacting, but Seferović missed an open goal in a situation in which Benfica would have one foot in the knockouts if he scored.

Still, Barcelona's last game is Bayern away, Benfica still has its chances.

United was good yesterday and secured qualification, Atalanta and Villarreal will battle it out directly in the last game of the group.
With the draw against benfica yesterday, barcelona seems to be in danger of being out of the champions league this season, because the match against münchen is not an easy match for barcelona, moreover they have to play at allianz arena oppose  münchen later, I think it looks like benfica has a chance to qualify for the next round if barcelona loses and benfica can take advantage of the situation by defeating dynamo Kiev which is relatively weaker.

It all depends on Bayern because this match with Barcelona means nothing to them, they have already secured first place in the group.
If Bayern decides to rest key players in the match against Barcelona, then the chances of the Spanish club to win will increase significantly.
Bayern also have problems with several players who don't want to be vaccinated and are therefore penalized by the club.
The relations between these players and the club's management seem to be disturbed, which could also affect the atmosphere in the team and future results.

Bayern Munich had already secured progression to the knockout stages even before this Barcelona game and also confirmed their position as group winners with the three points. But there is one thing every Team will want to achieve and that’s maintaining a 100% win record, even if they can keep that record to the finals. It is a very big achievement. And at that, they would will want to start their full squad against Barcelona. Lewandowski would always want to increase his goal tally by banging more goals in the European competition as he hopes to win the Ballon d' or. Thomas Miller said he enjoys playing against Barcelona, he must definitely want to play. In fact with or without the presence of their first team players, Bayern Munich will still win Barcelona in Allianz Areana.

Bayern have solved the problem of reaching the next round and perhaps in the game with Barcelona they will give rest to the main players. But since Bayern will play in their stadium, they can play strong. So Barcelona must definitely win, so as not to hope for Benfica's misfire. But this is a rather difficult task.
Bayern will definitely not risk the main players in the last match, they don't need that. And most likely Barcelona will win, because Benfica will play with Dynamo the last match at home and I think they will win, because Benfica plays very well at home. And Dynamo is bringing up young players this season and cannot achieve good results.

Barcelona are not strong enough even though Xavi can give a good result in his first match in Laliga against Espanyol yesterday, but here in UCL Xavi still can't give the expected result. Because basically playing at home in last night's match against Benfica is a great opportunity for Barcelona to become runners up, because in the last match Barcelona will play away and also the opponent they face is Bayern Munich. In fact, even a draw I doubt it, although Xavi said he can beat Bayern Munich but it's just like a hope that is difficult to achieve. Barcelona only expects a draw for Benfica in the last match later and it seems, it is also just a hope that will not come true because Benfica will not waste this opportunity to qualify for the round of 16.
attacking line is still the reason why barcelona has not been able to get perfect results ,while the barcelona defense is already strong enough like the past ! there has to be a chance taker on the pitch ,this is no easy task as some sharpness was lost when Aguero stop play ! vs bayern later I think barcelona won't win unless there is a miracle for him  Cheesy xavi must fight with deep prayers

I didn't expect the Barcelona vs Benfica match to be a difficult match for Barcelona to score, but after I watched the game to the end it was only natural because Benfica was so focused on defense that no goals were scored by the Barcelona players. There were 8 offside trap that thwarted Barcelona's chances of scoring, including when Aroujo's goal was disallowed by the referee for standing in an offside position.

This draw will certainly never be good for Barcelona considering that it will only provide an opportunity for Benfica to qualify for the next round if Barcelona loses vs. Munich and Benfica wins vs Dinamo Kiev in the last match. I just think that Barcelona should win in the last game even though it looks very difficult at the moment, but that is the only way to qualify other than expecting Benfica to also lose vs Kiev.
Yes actually the match against benfica was a key match for barcelona to be able to get tickets to qualify for the next round, but instead they got negative results even though they played at camp nou, even though they played quite dominantly in the match but they were not able to score a goal against benfica, I I think it will be very interesting for us to see if Barcelona will play in the European league later, and maybe later they can become champion candidates in the European second tier competition Grin

Yep, if Benfica wins, Barcelona needs to win against Bayern - something that's hardly achievable in their current form. I'd say Benfica are the favorites for the knockout spot at this point, Dynamo Kiev has scored only 1 goal in their 5 CL games and has nothing to play for in the last group game.

Liverpool win @1.90 against Porto. Well it's tricky. Liverpool likely to rest main players, while Porto still fighting for 2nd place.

I would definitely skip betting on this game fully today. Liverpool will rest players for sure but their 2nd team looks good enough to beat Porto as well. There will probably be goals here though.

Early games Besiktas - Ajax and Inter - Shakhtar have obvious favorites and odds isn't exciting, so maybe I'll put combo on Ajax and Inter wins. Shakhtar looks disappointing - to be last in group where you have Sheriff, I don't know...
Atletico - Miland, do or die game for both teams, especially Milan. I'm backing Atletico here.
City - PSG. I don't get why PSG is so underrated. They win is rated @5.00. Does anyone planning to take it Cheesy?
Liverpool win @1.90 against Porto. Well it's tricky. Liverpool likely to rest main players, while Porto still fighting for 2nd place.
Sporting - Borussia, probably most unpredictable game today.

I was just surprised at Barcelona keeping all the possessions, all attacks and dominance, yet they failed to score a goal. I won’t be surprised if they probably end up in Europa League for sure. They might win it if so. Beating Bayern at Germany won't be possible for Barcelona. Only chance they have is Dynamo Kiev making a draw against Benifica. How ever it's pleasing to watch Barcelona matches again. Now they are back with their  style and play the beautiful possession game what they played before. Give Xavi a good CB and and a CF and story will be different in next season.

Yeah that chance of seferovic was really huge but to say that this was the biggest missed chance ever is just pure exaggeration, he still had a goalkeeper in front of him and his second touch was also not that easy because it was a dropkick which are pretty easy to miss. That being said it was still a huge chance and it definitely should have been a goal and i am also sure that seferovic makes the goal here in 19 out of 20 cases but not yesterday.
I also think that Barca has a pretty good chance to achieve a good result against Bayern in the last matchday because Bayern is just not in good shape at the moment and maybe they still have players in quarantine in 2 weeks.

Tuchel is a great manager, tactician and coach but he is also excellent in in-game management. I think Tuchel success so far are due to his flexibility and the quality of the players he has at his disposal. Every player in the squad most especially the Midfield to the attack bring something different. You play high up, you have a Werner (whose pacey and have a great off the ball movement-evident against MCL in Final and last EPL match against the Aston villa). You sit deep or press high up, a Lukaku come for hold up play and Long ball become the solution). A Ziyech (long overload), Pulisic (one on one and to draw fouls), KH provide second option striker on the pitch and good aerially. I am not saying Chelsea is unbeatable but beating them is an hercule's task.

I was surprised with the line up. Ziyech, Hudson Odoi and Christian Pulisic in attack against a defensive Juventus. Chelsea are so fluid at the moment. Thomas Tuchel has done a good job in getting this squad to perform. They have a very strong squad which you would expect from there historical player trading. What is more surprising is the scoring mentality Tuchel has brought in. Any body can score, as it is now, Chelsea has about 17 different scorers this season. We don't need strikers, the goals come from everywhere. Chelsea doesn't depend on certain players to perform well, they play as team and that's why everyone can score, it's good to be unpredictable.

With a performance like this am starting to think that Chelsea might retain the champions League, they are so discipline with 3 goals up they are still playing on a high intensity for a very long time until they got there 4th goal, every player knows there duty especially the ones coming from the bench, in my opinion and thought, is only Bayern Munich I see that can stop them.
Chelsea is beginning to win my love, and I will give it all to the coach. He is a winner, since he came to Chelsea FC,he has totally transformed the club, and every team that meets Chelsea now is doomed.
The way they played Juventus today, not giving them any chance to score is amazing.
Imagine them thrash a big team like that, you will see that they might certainly get to the final again.
As I said before, Chelsea have turned into a scary team under Tuchel Command when replacing Frank Lampard on 26 January 2021 because they can easily slaughter a giant team.
and Chelsea have very good players on all fronts because they have the best football coach in Europe so it is very easy and very possible to go through every next round to reach the final.
It is not even about having good players upfront. Manchester united has a more fearful attack than Chelsea but it all boils than to how the manager has built the team. Thomas Tuchel once said, I'll built a formidable team that no One else would like to play against. It quite true that Chelsea is a very difficult team to beat. At their worst they will still hold you up and beat you silly. It's absolutely true that other teams fear them. I hate to admit it but Chelsea are doing great and I’m having a long shot guess of them retaining the CL and for sure winning the English premier league title this season.

I don't know why I saw Manchester United last night playing really well although indeed, Villarreal was leading in ball possession but with a good line of defense and pressing from Manchester United to finally get the win with clean sheets. It is a good achievement for Carrick too, if Carrick can maintain such a performance then it is very likely Manchester United will not look for another coach who makes bigger expenses.

The result was great for Manchester United and Carrick but in overall performance, they are actually the same as before. Carrick did make a big change by having Van De Beek and Martial in the starting lineups while Ole used to have Bruno and Rashford/Greenwood. First half was really bad for Manchester because Villarreal dominated the game but lucky for United because Villarreal failed to maximize their goal attempts (thumbs up for De Gea who made several great saves).

Although Carrick win his first match, it does not mean United will not look for a better coach. Carrick need to prove more by making United better than before. Fans hope this result will bring more confidence to the squad and motivate them to play better.

Carrick is Solskjaer 2.0.He might win a few games at the beginning, but he will fail in the long term.
Solskjaer also started pretty good as a Manchester United manager and the fans were excited about the team's performance, but he lost momentum and he failed to recover the team.
I'm surprised that Barcelona didn't win against Benfica, but I guess that Xavi will have lots of work building a new and competitive team out of the ruins that Koeman left.
Chelsea destroying Juventus was great. There's something wrong with the Italian team. They simply can't find a replacement for Christiano Ronaldo.
