Europa is a good competition, but it would be a total under achievement for Barcelona to drop there and worse still get walloped by some other team in that competition.

Among the 4 match above, only Real Madrid managed to score 2 goals in the first half, while the other 3 match were still goalless draws. I'm surprised how bad Dortmund plays against Sporting and how well Leipzig plays against Bruges. The results are correspondingly: Dortmund is back 0-2 at half-time and Leizpig leads 3-0. Real Madrid is having a hard time against Sheriff and only just leads 1-0. Sheriff had two three good attacks that they have not played consistently to the end. If they would do that, they could surprise us again.
The match I'm most disappointed with at the moment is PSG against ManCity. It is lacking "drive", which would be expected for a top game like this.

Well, my qualifying J. Sancho was just that he assisted in yesterday's game by virtue of his own goal which secured the win other than that, it was me avoiding ambiguous write up but then, J. Sancho is a good player whose true self is yet to be reviled in Manchester United. Intermilan managed to win and made their chances of going to the next round even bigger, edin dzeko today really became a hero for intermilan's victory, btw right now the match between real madrid and sherrif is ongoing and the temporary score is still 0-0, I think apart from real fans madrid who wanted their team to win, of course the Inter Milan fans today wished luck for real madrid Grin

I am not saying that Barcelona could do that the way they are right now, there is a good chance they may fail to do anything, maybe even suck at Europa if they go there as well, so there is nothing guaranteed yet for them, but at least having a higher level chance there means a better chance for Xavi to recover the team to its glory instead of facing big name clubs and having trouble.

Chelsea just annihilated Juventus yesterday. They got a huge 4-0 win in Stamford Bridge and it must be a very satisfying win for them. This game was very crucial for Chelsea in terms of taking the lead of the group. And they have taken it by a fascinating performance. Juventus were just helpless in this game. The turning point could be Morata's very close miss for Juventus. Chelsea defense did a great job there and closed the gate of hope for Juventus. Tuchel's Chelsea are just continuing to impress me more as times goes on.

What an impressive comeback for ajax again after the comeback against dortmund today they won their fifth consecutive game in the champions league groups this season what an achievement and maybe they will get the full points if they win their last game impressive performance by ajax players in adition to haller tadic and berghius are providing many assists and goals this trio is the reason behind ajax succes.

Ajax continues to amaze - in an essentially unnecessary match for themselves, they were able to turn the tide of the meeting and win. It should be easy win for Liverpool against Porto and for Manchester City against PSG if we look at odds bookmakers are offering, but I like to play double chances and I think it's possible to happen in one of this matches.
One more match that caught my attention is Sporting vs Dortmund, away team is missing many players for this match and Sporting is in good form.

Bruno is much better than Van de Beek but he was decent though. Probably something to do with his lack of play time because he was benched most of the time and few more matches might stir him up somehow. Imagine that having 3 of them at the same time, Bruno, Pogba and VDB that would probably be one of the best midfield lineup for Manchester United

Shakhtar is trying to keep the ball in his possession and try to draw the match goalless. They are playing very defensively. But they do not seem to be able to win by adopting defensive tactics. Inter Milan is an experienced team. Their forward lineup is good enough. In the second half they will play more aggressively and try to score goals.
