Chelsea had a great start into the game yesterday and Timo Werner had a huge chance to bring chelsea in front very early but he failed to get the ball past curtois. Then chelsea managed to score in a pretty simple way with a long pass to pulisic who then managed to score. It seemed to me that Real needed that longshot from benzema onto the post to wake up and then pretty soon afterwards they managed to score after the corner and benzema made a beautiful goal that many other forwards probably would have not managed to score.
It is now still completely open who will advance into the final but chelsea looked slightly stronger to me yesterday.

It was a difficult game yesterday for both Real Madrid and Chelsea, it's not easy to play under heavy rain also.

Chelsea dominated Madrid on their home ground, it was a beautiful game to watch, Tuchel has successfully turned all the big teams he played against this season to look like a small team
you are exaggerating a lot, the results of chelsea are not so incredible, they have won games what good, they have scored a goal or two, it is not a super performance as you are emphasizing. look at chelsea's last 5 games, they only scored 1 goal in each game. what I have to praise at chelsea Is the good defense that they are showing in the last games, but in the attack they do not score many goals in the last games. if real madrid breaks chelsea's defense and manages to score 2 goals then real madrid will win the game

It was impressive that they also handled their pacy wingers pretty well which was the one thing I was worried about but they didn't let them any kind of attack.
Secondly at the starting Real Madrid were allowing too much space to Chelsea which give them good breaks make some good advances. Chelsea did play well but I think Real Madrid should have done better in defensive area.
I consider that Real Madrid were out of luck in this first leg but it's not over yet there's still a chance in the second leg as we know Madrid is a team that is experienced in all competitions so something surprising might happen until now I still choose Madrid as a candidate to win UEFA.
