Good for Chelsea, they have collected an away goal in leg 1. they only need a draw without any goal to advance to the next round. In the next leg, Chelsea will definitely play an attacking impression to win the match, in this situation Kanté must have still on consistent to maintain his performance, we know he is the real hero in this match.

Yep, Chelsea takes advantage for one goal away. But it doesn't mean Chelsea will automatically qualify to the final stage, Real Madrid has a chance to beat them on Stamford Bridge.

Most likely not going to happen. Chelsea is pretty good in defending, they just need to force a draw then they will qualify for the next round. I honestly think Chelsea will make it . There is no way they are going to lose in Stamford Bridge if they can hold Real Madrid in the first leg

Also, I expect that Zidane will force all players to be more offensive or aggressive in attacking. They should get one goal in the first half of the next second Leg. It will be very helpful to improve players' motivation and disrupt the opponent's concentration.

Thats what Real Madrid should have done in the first leg but they couldnt ( Chelsea was great though ). Real madrid was having trouble trying to stop Chelsea and had to resort to some serious booking. Marcello was taken out of the field because he got a yellow card and probably might get another one if he stays longer in the field

game ended 1:1 and Chelsea takes little advantage to 2nd leg game.

true, Real Madrid could beat Chelsea, but i think and it's just my opinion, Chelsea would qualify especially if Ramos won't play, there were a lot of spaces for Chelsea in today's game mostly in the first half, they could have scored more than one goal, it's going to be a tough for both teams in the 2nd leg, but i think Chelsea are the closest.

Manchester city vs Chelsea final would be a lovely spectacle, a delightful experience. The English press would add some more spice to it, lol.

Good luck to all 4 teams left. My pick of the 4 would be Chelsea, though I wouldn't mind any of the other 3.

Chelsea had a good game today, Real Madrid were up and running trying to manage the game to avoid more damage, if only Chelsea attackers were clinical enough. It was an overall good performance from both team. Chelsea with huge advantage getting an away goal. I hope they maintain the momentum in the second leg at Stanford bridge. I want to see Manchester City with the same performance against PSG tomorrow

As I said before, and Chelsea managed to draw against Real Madrid in the first leg and and Chelsea coach Thomas Tuchel is more focused on away goals or draws to make it easier to host Real Madrid at Stamford Bridge in the second leg at Chelsea. And it turns out that the draw has been proven by Chelsea.
and the second leg will be an increasingly tense match, especially Real Madrid who will continue to attack so that the draw does not happen again.

And Chelsea managed to get a really advantageous result in the first leg (1-1). Scoring first was really important for them as they captured the psychological advantage. Rudiger's assist to Pulisic was really delightful to see. But Real Madrid weren't late to equalize the score. Benzema answered them by striking a superb volley. After that, both sides found goal chances but couldn't make use of them. And I'd like to say that Chelsea were really awesome on defense just as I expected.

It turned out that Chelsea played as expected even though they failed to win the match. I didn't get to watch the game, but the highlight prove that they are playing with great intensity. Like I said yesterday, Chelsea will fight to win this match but they have good motivation even though in the end a draw is the result.

No one qualified and no one came out, and the decision will be in Stamford Bridge next Wednesday .
I will not choose the favorite Real Madrid there, Chelsea have to finish their job well as in previous years in other competition.

There have been improvements from Real Madrid in the second half the back line solidified more after seeming to be lost in the first half, but they did not find themselves either in the first or in the second by possession and the offensive idea .
Chelsea in turn eased his pressure In the second, but he remained dangerous in all his rebounds.  they had pressure that exhausted every player in Madrid, especially after the exit of Pulisic and Werner .
No one qualified and no one came out, and the decision will be in Stamford Bridge next Wednesday .

Ended 1-1 and this is a huge advantage for Chelsea's second game in London.

Do you know if they will have people back in the stadium too? The opening for stadiums with the advanced vaccine campaign is very close there.

The end of the match which was not good for Real Madrid. They have to fight hard in the 2nd leg later. Maybe it will be difficult to score a goal at Chelsea, but they have to be brave to attack. Hopefully Ramos can appear in leg 2.

For today it seems that Sergio Ramos' absence has weakened Madrid, Varane who has been appointed as central defender has not been able to replace him. The draw made it difficult for Madrid. They must score a goal at Chelsea next week. Today Christian Pulisic was so effective he was able to score a goal with just one try.

It looks like today's UCL match is very interesting to watch until the end. Even though it rained throughout the match, I impressed how the match was played. A draw did not benefit either team, but I think Chelsea have a great chance to beat Real Madrid in the second leg at home. Anyway, I like Chelsea's game today because it might not be what I imagined before.

So, game ended 1:1 and Chelsea takes little advantage to 2nd leg game. But such result almost equal chances for both teams. As expected, it was low scoring game and none of teams didn't had big advantage today.

It’s funny to me seeing how Hazard is such a flop at Real and he’s wearing the ‘number 7’.  I wish he never have left Chelsea.
Yeah, I remember expectations that he will replace Ronaldo, but reality is so different. Offcourse, nobody aren't protected from injurys, but still...
I was very impressed with Chelsea performance  today they played very well and quite unlucky that the match ended in a draw they could have won the match had it been Werner had not wasteful in front of goal, they have an advantage now with away goal rule hopefully they finish up well in the return leg in Stanford bridge amif they can replicate today's performance again.

Bale's contract is coming to an end. Real needs someone to replace his position on the bench and stadium tribune.  Wink
Selling Hazard to Real is the best Chelsea job move in the Abramovich era. I have nothing against Hazard, I think he is one of the top 10 active players when is fit but this is more than an unfortunate set of circumstances.

The truth is in the champions league knock out phase, a 1-1 draw with an away goal is never an advantage; it is safe to say that the tie is very much open and up for grabs. Not much chances were created and only Real Madrid looked like a team that wants to score as Chelsea sat back with 6 players; what would change in the second leg ? Will Ramos return make a difference ? Can Tuchel boys nick a win ?

Benzema has to be one of the most underrated strikers of all time in the champions League with his 70 goal mark, making him the 5th top scorer in the champions League all time record, I hope he can be the difference for Real Madrid. In between, It would have been great to start Olivier Giroud in this game, it will be spectacular to see two french strikers go head on.
Yeah he is underrated because his performance is fluctuating from a bunch of games to another. He can score 2 goals and make the difference in one game and fail to score easy goals next. Overall he is a key player in Real Madrid Wink
Now few minutes before the end and I am disappointed from Real Madrid, 1-1 isn't good and will put them on pressure in the 2nd leg game Undecided

He came on as a substitute for this match in the second half because maybe Zidane expected something from him and as far as we know, Hazard failed in Madrid. But I think Chelsea are very good at managing the tempo even though they don't succeed in creating opportunities. Hope Ziyech makes a nice difference after signing in.
