Even though at the moment Real Madrid can't be said to have a balanced sector, but when the moment becomes important then they can play very well. Real Madrid have more experience in Champions League and in history they have won more cups than Liverpool. They have more Champions League final than Liverpool too. Moreover, what is say by history?
