I would actually prefer Barcelona to qualify as second seed in this group, they should rest all their players and just get prepared for a grueling season in La Liga, protect them from injuries and get this rare opportunity to rest. I hate throwing away games but they will still send out a good side even if it's "B" side. There won't be more opportunities after this.

Atletico might likely not expose their defence tonight to  repeat what happened in the last encounter with Bayern, Bayern on the other hand have qualified already. They will will likely not be traveling with key players to stage a war with a shattered Atletico side. A draw between them isn't a bad market to pick IMO. Real is playing without Harzad and Ramos and they couldn't defeat Shakhter at home.

I see the Bayern and Atletico Game being a slow and boring Game tbh. I see both teams relying on counter attacks, especially since Bayern has qualified and is playing with a B squad. Atleticos Defense has been stellar and should also be pretty stable, although I see Bayern sneaking one in.
I predict a 1:1.

Gotta quote myself here...
Won both of my bets and called the correct score. Was a nice day betting for me today.
Havent had a look at the games today to find one that I like.

It was a crazy day yesterday though...
Porto/Manchester and Real losing again... wow.

Both of my predictions were on point as well. Congratulations on your winning. Betting is pure luck and a little analysis. It could have gone ether ways.

today wav really strange, real madrid lose, atalanta draw, inter win  Grin

however, atalanta has excellent chances of qualifying, just a draw against ajax is enough, while inter now, after the defeat of real, could also win against shaktar, but be eliminated if real madrid and borussia draw, it's a really balanced group, technically both inter and real madrid could be eliminated

So then we have teams who still have their own destinies in their hands,,, while others could all still have to depend on each other. I think we have to congratulate Midtylland for at least getting their first point, and against a team who went far in the competition and who are challenging for top 4 in Italy!

Definitely the matches to watch now are Real and Inter after this though:)

While I watch without Spurs!

Focus on Group B

Borussia 8
Shakhtar 8
Real 7
Inter 5
Inter Milan had 3 points from Borussia and Real Mardid lost 3 points to Shakhtar. They will have to win the last match to qualify for the next round. A flip can be made in the rest match of the Group B. It is better for Champions League if Real Madrid and Inter Milan can go next. Borrussia and Shakhtar won't  be able to go too far with their player quality. Surprise is always has its chance in soccer as we witnessed last season with Atalanta and Leipzig but my bet will be on Inter Milan and Real Madrid.

Real Madrid is on their down phase and Zizou will lose his job if Real Madrid will be out of Champions League too early.

It is not strange, Real Madrid isn't a strong team this season. They even can be defeated by a small team in La Liga, so it is not surprising if Real Madrid got bad results in the Champions League. I think it is time for Real Madrid to say "goodbye" to the Champions League trophy this season. Just look at the table of Group B, Real Madrid is only in third place. If Real Madrid gets defeated in the next match, they will be eliminated from the Champions League.

*Group B
1. Monchengladbach
2. Shakhtar
3. Madrid
4. Inter

I missed all the matches today. Can’t believe the results on this group.
It would be 1 last final match, all in or nothing for all the teams on this group.
Group B and Group H seems to be the most entertaining group this season.
I hope real madrid can pass the group stage, however I would be happier if they play on UEFA Europa League this season Grin
I am not a hater, but it would be fun to watch all memes about that. We need more entertainment during this pandemic.

I am little bit nervous about today’s match on Group H. I am a United fan but I am still not sure if United can go to the next round. They play badly when we have high expectation about them. Also, there is a rumour that said De Gea can’t be played today.

Shakhtar 8

certainly the most dramatic group. At the start no one expected Borussia and Shaktar to be on top two positions.
I wonder if this is the end for Zidane as a Real Madrid manager. such bad releases certainly undermine the credibility that he has gained so far. I think he will not survive until Christmas.

8 of 16 teams are now qualified for the final stage of the CL

Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020%E2%80%9321_UEFA_Champions_League

Focus on Group B

Borussia 8
Shakhtar 8
Real 7
Inter 5

Last turn

Inter - Shakhtar
Borussia - Real

Inter will pass in Champions if

-They win and Real beat Borussia

Inter will pass in Europa League

-They win and Real will not beat Borussia

Inter stays in Milan if they don't win.

In Italy we call it "biscotto" when the other game needs a draw to qualify the other 2 teams, it will be this case?

it's a really good group, everyone has a chance to qualify or get eliminated, inter's win wasn't surprising, what would have been if borussia won that game, Inter deserved that win, but what was really surprising is Real Madrid, another loss against shakhtar, i didn't see that coming at all, i hope they don't get eliminated, same thing for inter, there will be some boring one sided matches in the round of 16.

What a crazy goal for Liverpool  Shocked. What a mistake of Onana!!
Just a while after Ajax almost  scored .
Liverpool is saved!

First goal for OM! Will they get first point in Champions League  since 2012?

That goal of Liverpool was a big mistake. Cant remember when Onana made auxh big mistake. He is normally a very steady goalkeeper
I think the reason is that Ajax usually in Netherland League  plays against very  weak opponent, which has no  strong offensive and probably it is why he lacks concentration.
But later he saved Ajax few times, even if hopeless situations. In other way just very very bad luck.

It's not getting any easier  for Real Madrid in any competition, now they are the risk of getting eliminated in the very first round of the champions, what could be more humiliating for a team of such caliber ? but I'm more convinced that'd turn things around in the last fixture against Mochengladbach since a win would assure them a spot in the last 16.

lets see if Zidane can turn around the season.

The only way to turn this around would be to win in the next match against Monchengladbach and that is not going to be easy though. Monchengladbach need to win to secure their spot for the next round so it will be a tough game for Real Madrid

When I saw Bayern Munich with 5.30 odds against Atletico Madrid, I was really tempted to take it following Bayern's recent UCL record but, I have to be skeptical about it, I believe for the odd to have been that much for a team that has been used to humiliating their opponents, bookmarkers must have seen a reason for them not winning tonight so, I had to avoid and Atletico Madrid did what they do best, playing under 2.5 and ending the game in a 1-1 draw. Good game though.

The reason was so obvious and that is why the odds are high. Bayern Munich had 12 points before the matches and they are pretty much qualified for the next round already so Bayern switch out their entire starting lineup for tonight. Yet even with those lineups, Bayern still managed to get a draw which is pretty solid especially against Atletico Madrid that hasnt lose in LaLiga out of 9 matches

Looks like a lot of parties failed tonight. The only thing that disappointed me was City vs Porto. Goalless is a boring game. For some reason Jesus' goal was canceled in the 80+ minute, dominating the game with possession did not make City win easily from Porto. But both of them have already got ticket to pass to the next stage. That is good

I agree that the Porto vs Man City match is very boring, the match ended goalless. Especially seeing the line-up of Manchester City
players who were dispatched without Kevin De Bruyne's presence eliminating creativity. Even though statistically Manchester City
control the match, maybe it was unlucky for Manchester City because the goal from Gabriel Jesus was annulled by the referee.
But congratulations to both teams because they are confirmed to qualify for the next round.

Today of all days, Atalanta choose to be unfortunate and drew against Midtjylland. They just made their job harder because I'm not sure Ajax will spare them in the final round of UCL game.  Atalanta's last shot would see them go try to get at least a point when they face Ajax otherwise, they'll crash out like Midtjylland. To think they won against Liverpool last week is an understatement.

It's been a bad forth on night for the bundesliga teams.

I felt the same way too. Considering Bayern isn't just any team, those odds looked too juicy that I couldn't resist taking advantage of it. I couldn't risk a straight win for Bayern so I went with a 0-1 handicap at about (1.80 odds) which turned out just fine. I have a feeling Bookies knew Bayern would not be fielding majority of their first XI hence the high odds.

I hope you didn't bet for Man City against Porto, too.
My doubts came true.  At least looking at result
