One word about barcellona: taking 8 goals was a real humiliation.
It's a scar that stays with you for life.. if you are a real champion.

This champions is really abnormal, but is funny - I like that there is a change of teams arriving in the final, otherwise it becomes boring

Guardiola always makes one mistake at the quarterfinals stage and above. For some reason, he always enters the field with a new system of play in these matches. He conducts an experiment and loses every time.

Man, city just have ruined me. Have lost a lot of amount yesterday night. I now fear to bet on Bayern even  Grin

A lot of Manchester fans of both City and United will have been ruined over the weekend. And guess, of course, who is very happy, winning first Lyon then Sevilla;)

@SFR10: Absolutely agree with you on Bayern but City were a steamroller but even last season you could still be in profit consistently betting against them -- they only lose 4 times in the league but each loss, the underdog was 25/1 or more! Bayern also lost 4 times in Bundesliga, so I'd argue they were as consistent as City ever were, and with arguably fewer tough opponents. Lyon at 12/1 vs Bayern (roughly the same odds against City) to me reflects this thinking but I think that is hugely undervalued, they should be 20/1 to win because you're right. Bayern don't like sitting back however many goals up there are. Power, pace, air superiority. And using all of that every minute of the game. Phew.

Will Pep ever win a CL again with a club other than Barcelona?
Only if he signs Messi Cheesy

Don't be, they're a consistent team [unlike man city].
- If you lose a bet, don't come back hunting me Cheesy

Bayern proved that they are potential candidates for the Champions League this season after scoring multiple goal versus Barcelona. But they also cant underestimate Lyon, which previously also beat Manchester City.
I think they're one of the few teams that choose to not underestimate any team until the very last second [judging by their tactics after scoring a few goals].

I have a feeling that it might be an all german final this season...
- It's amazing how RB Leipzig was founded in 2009 (progressing in Germany year after year) and now, they're in Semis of UCL.

Semi finals
Bayern - Lyon
PSG - Leipzig

the hell? are these europa league games??? 😂😂

Lol. Well, yeah Lyon and Leipzig are two clubs that most people never expect to qualify on the semi-final stage. But they can show to people that playing football isn't always about superstars and the big name of players but how to play solid as a team. Don't underestimate them, mate! They surely have the same chance to go to the final match. Sometimes to play without high pressure, it can be more effective than playing with too much expectation. I guess Bayern can win the trophy, but who knows! Lyon and Leipzig can surprise us anytime.  Grin

Bayern Munchen is much stronger than all the remaining team in this competition. I am sure if Bayern can reach the final then they will win. I am looking forward to Bayern Munich playing against PSG in the final and it will be a great game. Hopefully
I think all the remaining team have a chance of winning by the time they reach the final. The final score determines who is the best and the champion. Bayern & PSG must not take Lyon & Leipzig lightly, we’ve already seen big upsets in the CL this season. If Bayern & PSG stay full focused in their semi finals though they should advance.

Against Juventus they were about 4/1, and last night they were 13/1, so yeah if you'd bet on that parlay already you'd be up 52/1
Who would have thought that ATM will lose to Leipzig and Man city to Lyon? At least I couldn't even guess that. Hence, the odd was too good but I think not much people had looked onto this. Do we have anyone here who win the bet on both of these matches?

City has made my betting profitable two seasons in a row. The sad thing is now bookies won't be giving their opponents such shitty odds nexts season, boo.

It's something incredible what Lyon did. That crazy Sterling miss is still in my eyes Cheesy. And I just remind that Lyon haven't managed to qualify to Champions league through Ligue 1.
But after all, I don't see any team which can stop current Bayern.
The miss of Sterling gave me opportunity to watch Youtube video for his some misses like that. Easy works in front of open goals like hard work for Sterling. He proves it many times.

Bayern is strongest and have their due chance to win the Champions League but in football everything can happen. Like Egyt in Euro 2004, Porto with Mourinho. No one knows and Champions League is the league for moments. Every mistake can be charged with irreversible cost.

The video in the break between two halfs of Barcelona vs Bayern shows Messi is not a strong guy mentally to lead a team. He is a talented guy and the greatest one in latest few decades but not a good captain. Barca need a captain like Puyol.

We have 2 underdogs in the semi-final. Tell me what the odds for these underdogs to win this prestigious competition? I have no idea what's going on.

For Lyon before the tourney started, they were 100/1 to win at least, I remember that very well. Can't remember what it was for Leipzig but Lyon and Atalanta were regarded the tourney's whipping boys.

Against Juventus they were about 4/1, and last night they were 13/1, so yeah if you'd bet on that parlay already you'd be up 52/1, I actually was counting the odds so far and value for tourney winner wasn't as good, but I guess that's because you're betting on progression, either through extra time or penalties or outright wins.

Bayern had one hand on the trophy IMO even if City had progressed, judging from form and performance, but this one is now theirs to lose.

Sterling and Gabriel Jesus poor play, wasted several golden opportunities. Making Manchester City fall from the Champions League.
I am among those surprised that Lyon can beat Manchester City, I think Lyon is lucky to have such a good striker like Moussa Dembele.
Only played 15 minutes but managed to enter 2 goals against Manchester City. I agree with you about Bayern will win trophies Champions
League this year.

So far, my bet is working out for under 3.5 goals. Hope it comes down to two more goals at the most. If the match goes on like this, I'm hopeful.
Accept my condolences mate, the game was above 3.5 goals -you must have known this- not really the team many thought would score the remainder of the goals. In between over 3.5 was a better bet in that match

Thank you! Cheesy Well, in halftime, it did not look like that there will be more than two goals in second half. In the end I just lost the bet by a narrow margin, while others lost their bet heavily (e.g. win of ManCity at very low odds or a victory of ManCity in both halves).
I have good balance management, so it's no big deal for me. Other bets in the last weeks worked very well, so I still have a nice gain on a monthly basis Smiley

so the next million-dollar club dropped out of cl Grin
in my eyes bayern munich is the big favorite to win this year's cl trophy
also i don't look at paris so much that they could somehow make munich dangerous

for bayern munich the next tripple is very, very close...

I wouldn't quite agree
This year's CL competition has shown that it's very difficult to declare favorites in advance and that all clubs have a chance to win.
One weaker game or less luck is enough for everything to fail.
There are 2 more very difficult matches  in front of all clubs.

Manchester city would have tails between legs ATM, there was not another team they would have wished for but Lyon, many had started overlooking the French team -and seeing a semi-final between city and Bayern- football is just excitingly interesting, what would happen if we see Leipzig of Germany and Lyon of France in the final of the UEFA champions league?

3 days crazy in the Champions League. Athletico lost, Barcelona was defeated. And now Lyon. Honestly, the French surprised me a lot after a goal missed. And Manchester City disappointed me with their game.

why is Manchester City such a crap team in the Champions League? why do they choke so much?

Somehow I am more happy with the defeat of Manchester City. Like the previous UCL season. Manchester is great, but for the Champions League their mentality is predictable. I have heard many times that Manchester City is only great at EPL.
