for the two match of Group E Slovakia vs Spain ,Spain may be fortunate enough to get out of Group E even with a draw, although it is unlikely they will want to take that risk and should be targeting a win to leapfrog the Slovaks into second. spain to win or nul ,

Well i would say they are not that bad so far in this tournament i mean they are in first place in their group which is an achievement already. I agree though, that England is not part of the big favorites for this tournament as other teams like Italy, France are looking way stronger. One reason why the english national team was never really successful could be the conditions in their premier league. They have 20 clubs instead of 18 like f. e. in germany which means they have 4 matches more in one league season. Then they have the EFL cup and the FA cup which so 1 more than the other big leagues and of course they don't have a break during the winter. That's why the English players, most of whom play in the Premier League, are probably already pretty overplayed when a EURO or World Cup starts.

Yes, this is all true. But in the past I think they haven't been great tactically, despite having good players. Germany losing vs Hungary is a weak possibility while Portugal will have tight game vs France. In my opinion, France and Germany will pass directly and Portugal 3rd.

I just hope Germany has learned it and has a good strategy to win big, no team can be underestimated in this tournament because they are very likely to get a win. Germany already have 3 points, so even if they draw their match against Hungary, they will be able to progress to the knockout phase. But the toughest match is going to be France vs Portugal. France is having 4 points from two matches, but they still need a win to finish at the top of the group.

Now coming to the other set of matches, there is a real danger that Spain will be kicked out of the tournament. They need a win against Slovakia. If they finish with a draw, then they are out. How ironic, given the fact that they were one of the tournament favorites.
