A draw would give them 4 points, which would mean they definitely qualify. But yes, I agree they're likely to win anyway.

Group F really is a difficult group. Whoever finishes second gets to beat group D winners England in the next round... but likely whoever out of France/Germany/Portugal finishes third would beat England, too.
I know that teams always try to win, but England might have been better off trying to lose their game and so avoid playing anyone from Group F in the last 16... but as it turns out, second place in England's group has ended up drawn against Spain in the next round... Cheesy

Such a big disappointment for all Poland fans.. a very bad way to exit EURO with only 1 point, last team of the group and behind Slovakia which was defeated by 5 goals vs Spain!! without counting the last goal scored by Sweden at the extra time, Poland couldn't qualify either Undecided

LOL, it happened unexpectedly just a coincidence. If I'm not mistaken, there have been 8 own goals since the group stage started until today. But maybe it will continue to increase because we are still waiting for another match between Germany vs Hungary and Portugal vs France in the group stage. So far Germany and Slovakia is the team with the most own goals in 1 game. It is very funny.

Spain played as expected, had there been no own goal again in the 70+ minute, then my guess was right. Cheesy

In the first half Slovakia vs Spain 0-2, saw no good movement in attack from Slovakia and only half the field, and Spain dominated the game and 6 shots on goal and Slovakia 0.
It looks like in the second half the opportunity to increase the score for Spain will be wide open and Slovakia must change its strategy so that the match becomes exciting to watch if there is an attack from Slovakia.

Sweden took a lead but Poland play well and try to equalize. Lewandowski has two finishes that hit the bar. It will be a very exciting match and Sweden will have to work hard to keep up 3 points. They even can lose the match if they let Poland and Lewandowski have more space and opportunities.

Wow what a start from Sweden! And a yawn of a first ten minutes from Spain, urgh. No disrespect to Slovakia but this has to be the weakest team and the Spanish should extract full punishment.

You are very pessimistic. I see it differently. If they were to play against France, they probably wouldn't stand a chance. Against Germany, the chances are 50/50. Germany played well against Portugal, but the team still has many weaknesses. Against Portugal or Hungary (nobody thinks they can make it to the next round, but I wouldn't write them off ), I would see England as the favorite. So it's very much down to which team they're going to get as an opponent.

I believe the same, that this will be the final ranking for Group F. Still though Portugal and France as well didn't show the kind of stability that we expect and anything can happen. As for Germany, I don't have the slightest doubt that they will take the win with Hungary and qualify.

Poland will have to fight hard and be focused 200% against Sweden to take the win, it's like a final to them. I don't know if Poland will make it but I believe that at least we will see an entertaining match.

Germany will win the game against Hungary today. All are playing quite well and unexpected gameplay can be noticed but Germany played the last match so well that it seems they found their strategy to win every match.
Portugal will also qualify even after facing difficulty in the recent game but the way they started shows they are capable to find their way up on this Euro.
Yes, I agree that Hungary will probably not qualify due to the other teams only, no doubt they are a good team.
