Czech Republic was unimpressive in their group matches and you think that they will be able to beat one of the strongest teams in this competition? They lost their match against England and their only win came against a weak Croatia side. If they somehow manage to beat the Netherlands, then it will be one of the most shocking upsets in the history of Euro cup.

for a lot of chances they had.

Italy was not up to the mark during their match against Austria, but that doesn't take away the fact that they were the best team during the group phase of this tournament. They scored a total of 7 goals in 3 matches and conceded none (the only other team not to concede any goal was England, but they themselves managed to score only 2 goals from their group matches). I would treat the last match as an outlier. For me, as the things stand, Italy is the team having maximum possibility to win this tournament.

I think Mancini masterclass won Italy the game, those changes were well-timed at the right moment of the game, they needed someone to cause troubles on the right flank and Chiesa was all thy needed to break the deadlock. Well I've already said that I will be watching Italy because it fells to be a greater game than Denmark and in the end it was because who anticipated ET in Italy ? Also my prediction was right regarding Italy will have clean sheet because only 90 minutes are counting in this records. But with Italy playing 30 minutes extra , it might count in the next games where they will face a much stronger opponent.

It's not going to be cakewalk for Belgium. For sure they are the no.1 ranked team (as per the FIFA rankings) and Portugal is not even in top 3 (they are behind Belgium, France and England). But I would rate Cristiano Ronaldo as the best forward playing in this edition of the Euro Cup. The advantage for Belgium is that they have a great defense (and the same can't be said about Portugal) and they are not over-dependent on any player. But if the match goes to penalty shootout, then I would say that Portugal will be having a better chance.

Before the yesterdays matches most of the people in here guessed that the match between wales and Denmark would be the more exciting one because it will be a very close match and that Italy vs. Austria will be not that exciting because Italy is just way better than Austria and will totally dominate it. Surprisingly it was the complete opposite, Denmark totally destroyed Wales yesterday, which i did not expect, i thought wales would win and Italy had massive Problems with Austria.
Italy dominated the first half but if the goal of Arnautovic would have counted then it would have been very likely that Italy would have been eliminated yesterday. That just shows again that there are no guaranteed victories for any team anymore.

I think yesterday we have seen a good and bad thing: the bad is that Austria did not win against Italy. They would have deserved it very much. It would have been interesting if the 1-0 had counted and how Italy would have reacted then.
The good thing is: Italy is not the over team as they believed after the group stage. The tournament is therefore completely open in my opinion. There is no clear favorite anymore, as all top teams have already shown their good and bad side in this tournament.
