It is true. Arsenal is not a weak team, it has a chance to win the game. But in my view, Emery chose the wrong strategy to face Chelsea attackers. 4 goals are enough to show that Arsenal has a problem in the defense line. I agree with that.

The games wasn't stupid as a fellow member said. Chelsea played solid and deserved to get the title.

I was only capable of watching the second half (which had enough action for 2 matches anyway) but I really wanted to watch the first half too and I can't find it anywhere. It seems like arsenal has a really troubling defense to say the least, both teams were about equal on anything else but Chelsea had a better defense (they always have a good defense) whereas arsenal really sucked on defense, they never really glued to their guy, they run around and whenever their guy gets the ball they are a bit ahead of them just waiting instead of really going for the ball and even on shoulder to shoulder they weren't really putting their feet in there.

I understand getting a yellow card or a red card could potentially change the game as a whole but the result of playing weak defense is 4-1 so it would have been better.

I was really rooting in for Arsenal to win but seriously yesterday's show was such a flop show for arsenal. Really didn't expected that they would be playing such a loose game in second half. Except for the substitute Alex Iwobi and some few who did worked out a little, I didn't saw anyone playing put up like a final game fight. For Arsenal it was all mistakes...mistakes and mistakes.. Arsenal players surrendered the game as soon as it began and for some peculiar reason they didn’t challenge Chelsea players, ultimately they paid the price of missing out on a champions league spot. When you look at the first half it felt both teams were doing warmups, it was pathetic and boring. However in the second half Chelsea players woke up, and destroyed Arsenal by scoring those four goals which ended Arsenals slim hope of finding a way back.

So, no CL for Arsenal...If you had told me in the early 2000's that sometime in the future both Man Utd and Arsenal would not be playing in Champions League but rather in the Europa League at the same time...I would've called you mad (in case some people didn't know, both clubs were dominating the EPL back then).

About the game, 1st half was kinda meh, 50/50 until the last 10min where Chelsea created a few chances...2nd half Chelsea were the better team, that 2nd goal completely destroyed Arsenal...If it wasn't for Cech, Chelsea could've scored at least 2 or 3 more goals...shocking performance from Arsenal.

Anyways, won my my bet and got what i wanted, to see Hazard lifting the trophy in his last game with the club...Welcome to Real Madrid, Eden (:

You shouldn't be surprised for i have already knew acouple of days back that Chelaea are the winners of this season Europa cup because Arsenal players were not mich interested in playing the Europa final after they were unable to be on top four clubs and their previous match turn out.
