big match between arsenal vs napoli, I still favor napoli. the composition of players is balanced, but Napoli excels in the coach seat who now appoints Ancelotti as their coach with his experience in European competition. Emery is also experienced in Europe, but she is below the level of Ancelotti.
When Arsenal is playing at the best level they are almost invincible, since they are able to score even 4-5 goals a match if they want to. Napoli is also a very good team with good players that have chemistry so it will be a very interesting match to watch and I am expecting to see a lot of goals here.

Arsenal vs Napoli will be two high quality games, could almost be a CL game. I think this tie will be great, I make Napoli very slight favourites to advance.

Arsenal at all means should avoid what happened in their round of 32, round of 16 in which they lost their first match and were needing second leg comeback before they can qualify for the succeeding stage, If they want to make to the finals,

Arsenal -Napoli is like early final
Slavia-Chelsea  Slavia won against Sevilla it can be not so easy game for Chelsea like everybody think
It is enough if Slavia has enough money to keep best Czech players to create very strong team
Chelsea need to be serious in both games

You were giving everything for Dinamo. What was your motivation if you don't mind?

I was watching the game, and it was only a bad luck for Dinamo, they had an equal first half, the second half was 60/40 on Benfica side
Dinamo had a chance to come back just moments later they received the goal for 2:0, Gojak missed in front of an open goal.... than Stojanović was given a double-yellow for insulting the referee and was ejected from the game. Just minutes later, Grimaldo scored for Benfica 3:0...

Usually I'm not looking at odds, I'm betting by feeling, the odd can even be @50, if I get the feeling, I bet on and that's it  Cool

My thoughts about quarterfinals
Benfica vs Frankfurt - difficult to predict something, I choose Eintracht to qualify, but everything can happen in this pair.
Slavia Praha vs Chelsea - Chelsea are very lucky, they route to the semifinals is unbeleavable easy - they had to beat teams like Malmo, Dinamo Kyiv and now Slavia.
Arsenal vs Napoli - wow. I predict that Napoli will go to the semifinals, they are jost playing more solid and stable than Arsenal without so many ups and downs.
Villareal vs Valencia - I didn't wanted to see clash of Spanish teams at this stage. Villarreal struggling in La Liga, but their performance in UEL is almost perfect, meanwhile Valencia are playing in La Liga solid recently. I think Valencia have slighlty better chances, but it will be not easy.

I think Benfica will have more experience than Frankfurt, and at this stage I think being experienced at Europe knockout matches could be important, I'll choose to qualify.

Chelsea should definitely make it to the finals, I think.

Napoli vs Arsenal, I'm not sure who to pick here, but I think whichever team wins would face Chelsea at the finals.

Quarter-finals:

A1 Benfica vs Frankfurt
B2 Slavia Praha vs Chelsea
C3 Arsenal vs Napoli
D4 Villareal vs Valencia

Semi-finals will be the winner of A1 against winner of B2, and winner of C3 against winner of D4.

My picks: Frankfurt, Chelsea, Napoli, Valencia. I think Chelsea have a good shot of making it to the final.

Incredible result for Arsenal last night after such a poor result in the 1st leg. Chelsea through very comfortably, let’s see if some big teams are drawn against each other today.

Just had a bet on Arsenal to qualify. I think it’s safe money, they’ll win this game by 2 clear gpals and advance to the next round. Winning the Europa League is qualification for the CL. I think they might need to really try & win it, top 4 in the PL is not guaranteed for them.

Spot on, brother. 3 goals with no reply and they're through. They'll want to win this, but so will Chelsea. Then that's a free CL's spot. If any of the clubs win CL, will that free up another spot in EPL? I don't recall the rules. There's no other way though, is there? Just a maximum of 4 teams plus 1 if a club outside top 4 wins Europa?

I went a bit stupid and backed Napoli to win even though I knew in my gut the 3-goal cushion plus away goal would mean they'd give it away in the 2nd half. Sevilla was a surprise to me too, tbh. 2-2 was perfectly balance and they just needed to get the ball in the net, but to go down in extra time, phew.

Man Utd came 5th the other season (under Mourinho) & won the EL, they still got into the CL so I presume the rules will still be the same. They go into the CL as a pot 1 seed too.

I think England only gets the additional CL spot if for example Arsenal came 5th & won the EL. If the EL winner came 4th & won the EL too then there is no additional CL spot for England.

Slavia scored another goal in extra time and won against Sevilla on aggregate. Kjaer has able to kick ball from goal line, but failed. Crazy match, disaster for Sevilla! Underdogs Slavia made history tonight!. Pablo Machin - sacked in the morning? Wouldn't be surprised at all.

This season is so exciting!
None would ever predict both in Champions League but also in the Europa League that we are going to see less strong teams disqualifying the strong ones.
Slavia Praha probably made yesterday the game of the decade (at least) for them and disqualifying a huge club with many Europa League trophies. I hope to see the same pace in the next round!

Great comeback from Arsenal. I thought Rennes would hold on.
It's been a really bad round for French clubs in all European competitions, it's actually been a terrible season once again.

A bit surprised Chelsea won with 5 goals on the away match 2nd leg against Dyn. Kyiv and hattrick for Giroud. I thought it would be a close match lol. Other premier league team Arsenal also won and qualify to the next round.

It was a great experience last night, giroud scoring a perfect hat trick (left foot, right foot and header) keeping Chelsea europa league record intact but that wasn't my highlight for last night because I knew we were going to win. Although I'm a chelsea fan , Arsenal's remarkable comeback victory and the blackpather celebration performed by Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang stole the show for me.

A goal in the 119'...crazy stuff! About Machin, there were rumours that he was going to ge sacked before this game...Now with this result, there's no doubt that he'll wake up unemployed tomorrow morning lol

Well, Slavia Praha will be the team that everybody will wish to play against in the quarter-finals, who will be the lucky one?  Tongue
