The funny thing is, just a week or two ago everyone assumed Sevilla would be out of this tournament and United was a better team. Now? They think Sevilla will beat Juventus as well and go to finals. What happened in the middle? MAGUIRE! No just kidding, Sevilla proved that even though they are not that great when it comes to la liga, they are not really that bad when it comes to europa. Sure the way they beat United was a bit lucky because at first United had own goals, and then on second they had mistakes they did which helped them as well.

I think it was obvious from the moment you knew United wasn't playing their best players due to booking and injury, there would be an issue. Juventus is still the favorites in my mind but Sevilla is not really that much worse neither, more like 2.00 to 3.20 odds type of situation would be realistic.

Well, if we refer to the odds available for these two teams. we can compare, that Juventus is more favored than Sevilla. after all, in terms of quality and performance the Juventus team is one level above Sevilla. as you said, Sevilla's victory over United could not be separated from the luck they had. yes, why, in the first leg the two goals scored for Sevilla were blunders from United's back line players. in the second leg, unfortunately, United's mental start fell due to Maguire's mistake which made Sevilla have the opportunity to score a goal. plus, United's players played below standard, it was a mess. Juventus can be considered stronger than Sevilla as they have better standing and form in Serie A. However, in semi final, knock-out format, Sevilla are not too weaker than Juventus.

Leverkusen are like Sevilla. They both got troubles in their national leagues but recently have good improvements. Leverkusen even did it better than Sevilla and they are actually a strong opponent for AS Roma. I still believe that Mourinho will help Roma better than Xabi Alonso can do for Leverkusen. Mourinho have had more than 150 matches in European cups and he is very experienced there. It is what we won't see in a young coach like Xabi Alonso.

I can't even deny that sevilla was able performing so well against MU by giving so many pressures during the match. In another case, i can't also deny the fact that if meguire, malacia and de gea has been contributing 4 goals to the sevilla. Those guys were helping sevilla to be qualified for semifinal.
As long as juventus will not make same mistake like MU and i think that juventus will able to win against sevilla easily. The main points are if juventus must not make blunders when it will be facing sevilla.

Leverkusen vs roma

The battle between two coaches that have ever become teacher and student in real madrid. I may still prefer to take roma rather than leverkusen. Mou is having various tactis. I agree that Roma is the favorite in the semi-final against Bayer, but it is an exaggeration to say that the German club has no chance. This is the semi-final and no club got there by chance but on the basis of their quality and good play.
It will be interesting to see if Mourinho, after winning the conference league with Roma last season, can win the Europa League this season with the same club.
Roma currently hold fourth place in the Italian league, which secures them a place in next season's Champions League, so Mourinho will be able to try to win all 3 European club competitions with the same club in 3 seasons.

Bayer Leverkusen can't stand a chance to face AS Roma. It's absolutely not the best game for Xabi Alonso, he's experienced but not bigger than Jose Mourinho.
