Also look at the head to head , in the last three meets between the two , since 2018 manchester united can never get a win .. it's two loses and 1 draw , bad stats for united but yeah we could be wrong ... the current manchester united vibes far better than the 5 years ago.

I go for sevilla to get through next phase though , i have pretty strong feeling on this.

I think this situation will be different from their performance in the domestic league. I mean Manchester United loss to Newcastle United will not have a bad impact on their performance in the Europa League. well the same thing happened to sevilla because they also didn't perform well in the domestic league.
I prefer to see the depth of their strength rather than compare the matches they play in the domestic league because the best quality comes from quality players and Manchester United certainly excels in this regard.

The odds between Sevilla and Manchester United are both strong because Sevilla have a good record in the Europa League but seeing Manchester United beat Barcelona in the play-offs I think Manchester United can win this game.

The bad result that was already achieved by MU in the last match on EPL makes me a bit doubtful if MU will able to beat sevilla easily but i don't even think MU has lost such a chance. I consider that MU has a very good history to beat barcelona on the play off stage and betis in the last 16. The match against sevilla gonna be pretty easy considering MU has been facing two la liga clubs that were placed at the middle and top of la liga standing right now. The result against newcastle is quite disappointing for me but MU must wake up as it has some target that has not yet been achieved by the clubs. 1 of these targets is winning europa league trophy again. This is a very difficult mission to be done caused by some strong clubs are waiting for MU if this match will be won by manchester united.

To be honest, if i don't even care so much about the history of sevilla in the europa league but the reality said that if sevilla is having a bad performance in the local league. This is also greatly impacting the performance of sevilla in the europa league as well. As long as MU can still use all of chances that will be available and im sure that MU will be getting a bigger chance to win compared with sevilla. MU doesn't have good back right now.

Actually the conditions when they were then and now are clearly very much different. when we say history we also know how strong they are in the Champions League not the Europa League but then was then and now of course now you can't compare anymore.
We can't be naive that Seville's condition is currently in a state of complete chaos, especially with several coach changes which are always not very comfortable for them.

But that's not a good reason to say they if they got good results in the past Europa League they will get good results this season, so far Sevila's performance was worst than we could expect from them, not going to talk about the La Liga and how bad they performed to have a bad situation in La Liga but even in Europa league they had a poor performance against Fenerbahce and lost the last game against this team while they were playing at home.

Sevilla has good record in europa league but the reason people don't believe they can beat Manchester United is because their performance is poor in laliga  and Manchester United not bad in Premier league and europa league.  Let's wait and see if Sevilla can still not change their record.

Sevilla, if you look at their history of performance in the Europa League has always been strong, so no matter in what shape and in what conditions now, the match will be difficult for both and it is hard to say who will win. Of course, the defeat in the domestic league match yesterday will greatly affect the mentality of the players because their target at the end of the season is the top 4. As I said before in several posts, it's not that Manchester United haven't been playing consistently well. but more to the point, they have a busy match schedule. plus, Ten Hag doesn't have a second line up on par with a main starter. well, that's why I once said, that The Red Devils have the potential to slip in some of their matches. after all, in football losing and winning is commonplace. and, every team has the potential to experience ups and downs in every match. imagine, in almost every match, Ten Hag plays his main starter, playing full 90 minutes. the reason is simple, apart from several players being injured, Ten Hag also doesn't have many player options that he can rely on. as a result, United experienced a little difficulty to remain consistent in every game.

Talking about the match vs Sevilla, actually this match still has a time lag for the two teams. at least, the two coaches will prepare their respective teams to face the match later. even so, on paper United are more in the favorites when compared to Sevilla.

Just like we know Arsenal to be one the best among all the tough England teams, every other clubs in the Europa league are best in their domes/ic league.  And we all know that before a club qualifies to any European Tournament, such club has past a test for that in it's domestic league. Therefore, it will be wise not to underrate a particular club cuz many people (especially fans of England and Spanish teams) a bent on doing this when any England or Spanish club plays with teams from other leagues. They do this mostly because they are ignorance of what the other club are capable of. I'm not surprised that sporting Eliminated Arsebal cuz I know sporting is capable of that.

I think they were expected to lose at least a bit. I mean sure when you hear "Barcelona got knocked out of europa league" that sounds weird, but the team they played against was Manchester United, which is why I believe that there is a bit of a talk there in the end.

I feel like it shouldn't be a shock to anyone that we could be in this much trouble. I fear that it is not going to be an issue or anything like that, it is normal and I feel like it would be normal for them to go on like this without winning it. Arsenal was different, they lost to Lisbon which was a much smaller team and they should have won that game and they would be getting a good cup for this season.

What you say is true because there were no midfielders who could manage their rhythm but on the other hand losing overall just because Casemiro or Eriksen were not there was actually too much.
From ball possession they lost, from opportunities they lost they couldn't even make chances properly because there was only 1 on target there.
The delay in several substitutions also made me a little uncomfortable in this match. I think they need to improve their scheme for the Europa League because such a strategy is not going to have any real impact and it has already been seen they have failed in this game.

Looking at the overall performance of Manchester United in this season. It will be very unfair to conclude that Manchester United is underperforming because of the last three matches that they we are not consistent.
Even when not talking about the red card of casimiro and the damaging defeat that Liverpool gave to Manchester United scoring a high number of goals up to 7 against 0 goals. When you look at the overall performance of all the clubs this season, you will understand that there is a gross amount of inconsistency among the clubs. So Manchester United is not immune to the inconsistencies that are happening but what I always like about Manchester United is that they don't allow their last week problem to affect their current problem.
In the Europa League United surely have their star midfielder in the middle and they will perform well against Sevilla.

From the first game Barcelona played in europa league for the season their performance was not impressive,  and I knew they were not ready to win the league. Barcelona performance in Europa league game was similar to their performance in champions league. I think this was never their target.

Sevilla is not as strong as you painted it, I will be extra satisfied when a team draws than lose a match, and looking at both their forms, Manchester United and Sevilla don't seem to have a chin for any confidence in the match tomorrow. Many times they met, Manchester United lost to Sevilla and that was because Manchester United was still having a hard time with Erik when he was trying to know how to build the team. However, this time around is different, even when they are having some difficulties, Manchester United has the perseverance and patience to remove Sevilla from the next match and in the second leg.

I think Manchester United will beat Sevilla. They are completely different teams. Manchester United are probably lucky to have such an easy opponent and not Roma, Sporting or Juventus. Sevilla are at the bottom of the standings in La Liga, a league that is much weaker than the English Premier League. Manchester United will have no problem in the next few games.
