In the premier league Manchester United only lose to Newcastle which they lose their position but still having the same points with Newcastle, it is not very sure if Newcastle can remain in that position. After the last game Manchester united played against Newcastle no record of lose, Manchester United won Brentford. I don't see anything to serious concerning Manchester United performance. I think they can still do better in their games in the Europa League, because they have targets of winning Europa league .

Manchester United was 8 point ahead of Newcastle United although Manchester had one game more. But still they had one phase where they were very stable and didn't lose a Premier League game for 9 games in a row or so? Can't remember exactly, but right now they are less consistent than they used to be a short while ago. That doesn't mean they will automatically suffer from a decrease in performance in the Europa League, but it is a valid observation to say that it doesn't look as smooth at the moment. But they had a couple of injuries as well, that shouldn't be forgotten.

The Manchester United and Sevilla meeting will take place in the near future and they must immediately get up to reap good results in the domestic league as capital in the match later. The both clubs having poor results in league games with Sevilla ranked 13th on the laliga table and they're not in good form this season. The Sevilla I know would be in the top four battling to qualify for UCL spot, but they're struggling with average clubs in Spain. Erik Ten Hag have good plans for the club, sometimes it might not be now but in the nearest future. I've doubts if Sevilla would be able to record a draw tie with the red devil's in England. Manchester united have higher chances to win Sevilla in Old Trafford, precisely they won Brentford 1 nil, a view interpreting they're bouncing back to form.

I cannot say the same for Sevilla who are suffering this year in La Liga and I know the history that they have won this cup more than any other team but I don't think it will be the same this time,most likely they will fail to qualify against Manchester United.

Their streak stops and we again see some weaknesses in their system. It means Ten Hag only can temporarily boost their players and cover individual weaknesses by a better cooperation of their players. However when player cooperation is worse and they can not cover their team-mates, general weakness of their squad is shown again and opponents can exploit it.

This decreasing performance of Manchester United and somewhat increasing performance of Sevilla in La Liga will make their matches in Europa League quarter final stage more exciting. Biggest challenge for Sevilla is don't let Manchester United score goals first. Later they might have opportunities to score goals against Manchester United. Especially we still see serious personal mistakes from Harry Maguire in United and in England squads.

I didn't see the situation of these teams and how Sevilla can be better odds to risk because I can say this will be a really risky division to bet on Sevilla for this match because if they are at this stage it doesn't mean to say they are qualified for it comparing to other teams they lose the Europa League in this season even fenerbahçe because fenerbahçe had better performance than Sevilla.

There is a reason for that of course. They were already one of the biggest favourites while Arsenal were still a part of the tournament. Sevilla may be a relatively weak team. But the Manchester United team is not in good form now. Their performances in the last few matches in the Premier League have been poor. And so the Sevilla vs Manchester United match will surely be crowded and competitive. Sevilla will take full advantage if Manchester United makes any mistakes.

I agree and we have seen a number of surprises in all kinds of soccer competitions now. It is not only the Europa League where the biggest surprise was certainly Arsenal against Braga, but also in a game like Barcelona against Real Madrid today, nobody would have expected that Barcelona gets destroyed like that. Or Bayern Munich against Freiburg. The odds are against Sevilla, but that is not surprising to anyone and not even to Sevilla. Probably they consider that their biggest chance, being underestimated by Manchester United and keeping a clean sheet for as long as possible until Manchester becomes tired and has to go to Spain with a bad home result. That is the goal Sevilla has. Perhaps not even to win that game, but to keep the result as close as possible.
