How nice that we will watch another matchup between Feyenoord and Roma in a European tournament again.

As you know, the last time they played head-to-head wasn't much time ago. They faced each other in the Europa Conference League finale and Roma managed to move them out of their way to win the title. But Feyenoord's performance was really impressive anyway. Therefore I'm just saying that this will be another tough matchup. Roma can't underestimate Feyenoord. In addition, Feyenoord are having a delightful season on one hand. They are making a huge effort to win the Eredivisie title this season. I don't think they wouldn't care about here also.

This time they are playing two legs so Roma had better be more careful. If they do I will be favouring them.
Feyenoord are playing extraordinary football this season, they have only tasted defeat once. Of course, for AS Roma, Feyenoord are no strangers because they have met even in the decisive match to win the title. However, as you said, AS Roma must be careful because they will play 2 matches, home and away. It is difficult to predict the outcome of the match later.

Juventus team is performing very well. The team has regained great momentum after the addition of Angel Di Maria to the team. But the team is not doing well in every match. The position of the team is currently fair.
If you judge Juventus for this season's Europa League, I think you said it too early because in the Quarter-Finals of this season's Europa League Juventus will meet a team from Portugal, namely Sporting CP at their home ground in mid-April. But if you judge Juventus' position in Serie A, I think Juventus still has a chance to get into the top five in this season's Serie A standings if in the remainder of this season Juventus can continue to win every game.

I even just found out that the current Leverkusen coach is Xabi Alonso who is a Liverpool legend. No wonder Leverkusen is having a pretty good season at the moment while still playing actively in two competitions. I think that even though Leverkusen have had very good performances this season, Gilloise cannot be underestimated and I agree with your opinion. Gilloise was able to compete at the European league level by getting rid of such a strong opponent and they are one of the teams to watch out for. But for this match, I'm also a favorite for Leverkusen to get rid of Gilloise in the quarterfinals.
Bayer Leverkusen doing good job in Bundesliga and Europa Cup which is giving them better results in last few months even after having the worst start of this season and Xabi Alonso is also giving his best which is good sign for both parties with Leverkusen is coming here after beating French side Monaco and Gilloise is coming here after beating Union Berlin.

So, things are not easy as many people feeling about Gilloise because they good impressive job in knock out round and have good win here Union Berlin is better side then Leverkusen in this season so for me most chances things could be tough for the both teams and Gilloise can also take good advantage of second match which is going to play at their home, so hopefully we will have good match between these two teams with Gilloise is also trying their best for having top rank in Belgium league.

Xabi was changing leverkusen to be even better, it's now become even far from the relegation zone. It seems like that changing the coach is really working although if there are no changes happened in the formation of players. The impact from coach is very big and xabi was successfully managing leverkusen.

A bit surprised if he had been choosen to be a new coach for leverkusen but yeah he was making impressive performances with leverkusen. It can be seen from the result of previous matches how leverkusen was played consistently.
If alonso will be successfully managing leverkusen and that will open the possibility for him to be taken as a new coach for liverpool to replace klopp. Liverpool fans are not feeling satisfied with the performance of club under klopp right now.

Some fans were already yelled for management to change klopp with xavi alonso. Will this gonna be real? It's only time who can answer it.

There will be many surprises to come next season.

I don't think if that's right to compare Arsenal and Juventus and say if Sporting will have a harder game against Juventus than Arsenal or not. It is not the same story for Juventus I think Juventus will try to avoid making the same mistakes as Arsenal in order to avoid giving Sporting a chance to win the game because both teams will use different systems. Arsenal lost the game because Sporting knew their weaknesses and how to overcome them. While Juventus will try not to do the same mistake as Arsenal in order to give Sporting a chance to win the game.
Juventus will look forward to playing defensively, Alegre often does this, and Arsenal tried to solve everything in attack. I'm not sure if Juventus are stronger than Arsenal, rather the opposite, but you're right that the teams will have different strategies and that will determine the outcome. It is very difficult for me to determine a favorite for myself in this confrontation, the teams have equal chances, probably Juventus is more sympathetic to me, but this in no way means that they are stronger than Sporting.
Another thing we need to understand between arsenal and Juventus,  this two teams are different when it comes strength of performance and targets,  sometimes what makes a team to win a game is the target and focus. Arsenal has the strength of beating Sporting CP but they were not really focused because they have another target.

Juventus may not have up to the strength of Arsenal but because of their target and focus of winning the game can make them to defeat sporting. But the game still remains unpredictable,  but Arsenal lose to Sporting will still be the same outcome for Juventus, Juventus can achieve it if winning the europa league is their target.

Manchester United did revert their season very great from early bad to middle super good parts of the season. Now the season is coming to its ending and they are fighting in some cups with hope that they will win some titles and end in top four of Premier League. They are stronger than Sevilla and have better form but they will not have break time in mid of weeks with their fixture.

They will have to pay attention on Bruno Fernandez who is their source of creativeness and key passes. He usually get exhausted when a season comes to its final phase. Ten Hag must consider to give him 10 to 15 minutes resting time when the club has good results.
It's amusing hearing Manchester United fans share their hopes and dreams of winning a quadruple this season lol, Erik Ten Hag has done so well to revert Manchester United's poor and hopeless season to something much better and have a trophy already won this season. Their match against Sevilla will be interesting even though Sevilla is not so good at the moment but if they can hold United's attack down then it will be easy for them to get a good result.

Winning four trophies this season will not happen as Arsenal have taken the premier league some way
They can try harder for the Fa cup and also the Europa League
United do not play so well against Spanish sides in the future which can also be a problem fir United

All the adequacy of these quotes collapses when we see that the chances of Sevilla are only two times lower than the chances of Juventus (despite the fact that Sevilla has already got into the draw  the favorite of the tournament - United). And Juventus will be waiting for them in the semi-finals  Grin To be honest, I don't understand what math the bookmakers used when they drew up this line.

Hm the odds are interesting but when you think about it, what would you actually criticize? Should Juventus be less, perhaps something around 4.5? I think that Manchester United is the favorite, although the gap between them and Juventus is too big. Roma is probably put at the same as Juventus because they have the "easier" way to go when they win against Feyenoord.

Generally I think the draw is a bit unlucky because in a worst case scenario the final does not sound as spectacular as I would wish for. It's fine if the best teams win, but when the draws pre-determine that big teams must get kicked out because they face each other, I am not sure I like that a lot.

Juventus is one of the favourites, but who is Sevilla? A team that is literally two points from the relegation zone (and this is not the Premier League but La Liga where competition in the basement is weak) has a chance of only two times worse than Juventus (top 2 in Serie A if you do not take into account the penalty). It seems to me that this is complete nonsense from bookmakers, even considering the fact that these are knockout games, everyone has a chance, etc.

I was checking for some information whether there were either Champions League or Europa League winners that struggled hard in the domestic league competition, but what I found was this info about Manchester City in the season 1937/1938. Have a look at it, but as a quick summary, they won the Premier League title in the season before and then got relegated the season after as the team which has scored the most goals! Cheesy
I am quite sure that has never happened before or after.

But back to topic, I guess this is the list you could be interested in and indeed there was no team so far that was really as bad as Sevilla at this point. They have all ranked pretty high, but sometimes they were ending the season miles and miles behind the title winner. Like Ac Milan in 2006/2007 with 36 points behind Inter and yet they won the Champions League final against Liverpool.

Leverkusen might seem like they have the best draw in the quarter finals. But they still need to be really careful anyway. Because Royale Union SG eliminated a solid team like Union Berlin in the previous round. We have all seen how great season Union Berlin have had so far. Therefore it shows how dangerous Royale Union SG can be in this tournament.

Of course Union Berlin weren't like one of the biggest title contenders. Now they will face one of the contenders which is Leverkusen. I really wonder how they will play against another strong German team. Leverkusen are doing well these days.
Can you believe the way Royale Union SG is carving their legacy in this contest? This just proves that it's unwise to judge teams by their stature, as anything can transpire in the world of sports. It harkens back to the time-honored tale of David defeating the colossal Goliath using merely a sling and a rock. Could Royale Union SG be poised to replicate that feat by vanquishing Leverkusen?
Leverkusen, however, has been thriving under the masterful direction of Xabi Alonso. As favorites, they should keep an eye on their adversaries, balancing caution with self-assurance. The stage is set for a thrilling clash, and we're all on the edge of our seats to see who will emerge victorious!

After beating Arsenal now Sporting is good contender for the title because this was good game and with this win things completely change in this event Juventus is also good side right now even after losing 15 points they are doing good job in Serie A which is surely impressive with this most chances home advantage could be vital in this round for the both teams because if Juventus will be able to have better home result in first leg then surely things could be not easy for the Sporting with Juventus is mostly love to play defensively and this is working for them with too many clean sheets already under their belt but Sporting which is currently at their best will also try their best for the another exciting win and place into next round.
After frustrating Arsenal, Sporting Lisbon will certainly be very confident to face Juventus. I think it's normal when the team is in a happy mood. But Sporting Lisbon must remember that they have never won before facing Juventus. Prior to this, Juventus had met Sporting in the 2017/2018 Champions League group phase. At that time Juventus won 2-1 in Italy, then drew 1-1 in Portugal. So, for this meeting, I still favor the Italian representative to qualify for the semifinals.

Juventus is a strong team. And since they have no chance of winning the Serie A title, they will definitely try their best to perform well in the Europa League. But the Sporting team is very confident now. They managed to qualify for the quarter-finals by defeating Arsenal. Since Sporting managed to beat Arsenal, it can be expected that the team will do well against Juventus as well. In fact, even though the Juventus team seems to be the favorite in this match, there is no chance to underestimate the Sporting team. The sporting team is tricky. And so they also have a chance to win the quarter-finals.

Things looking impressive after the International break and Ten Haq is surely doing good job with they already won their first trophy and now having good time in UEFA Cup and The FA Cup with most chances they will be stayed at third in Premier League with this all I have feeling most chances they will be able to own one more trophy, and they have no chance in Premier League which mean quadruple is not possible but double or treble both are under their radar and things can take good change for their success in coming weeks as well.

Sevilla is having good reputation and history in UEFA Cup with in current season they are doing worst in La Liga but still their performance in Europa Cup is impressive which is surely giving them some hopes for having better results against Manchester United even this is not easy game with Manchester United having impressive performance against Barcelona and Real Betis which are doing much better the Sevilla.

Saint-Gilloise were very tough to playing at their home so Leverkusen should be careful to them because we all know they can able to overcomes Union Berlin with huge scores and first leg Leverkusen will playing as a host and if they want to qualified Leverkusen should be able to win even if possible win with big scores and if Leverkusen can able to do that then they will be more comfortable to faced second leg

I think Union Berlin who played against Royal Union was not the right team to go further in Europa League as they are used or at least I have seen them playing more defensively than aggressively and that does not work in International Competitions, sure it worked once in 2010 when Inter won the Champions but since then no one else has made it by defending.

Leverkussen on the other hand plays more open football and as such will have better chances to win against such team no matter how strong they appeared to be against Union Berlin, the Bundesliga is still a much better league than the Belgium one.

I don't think Sevilla in a good form better than Manchester united, and will not be able to qualify to the semifinals. Manchester united have player teams that are stronger than Sevilla and victory was the result. Though, if Manchester united don't take this match serious, Sevilla will send them home.
Sevilla has been facing horrible results in previous matches. People must realize that the position of sevilla is still in a bad position. Sevilla just hired Jose Luis Mendilibar as a new coach but this will not even work. The problem is the team is now must be adapting with him.

Mu will have so many advantages started from sevilla's players must also try to adapt to the new situation in the network. I am doubtful if sevilla will able to win against united.
It will have the same result as betis before. Called sevilla as king of uel is not helping a lot to make the performance from the club to be even better against united.
United will be winning easily without a tough game against sevilla. That's pretty much the same situation as betis. It's time for sevilla now to be kicked from europa league.

I'm favouring Juventus for advancing to the semi finals. I'm aware of how successful Sporting are in this tournament.
However Arsenal and Juventus are not the same type of teams. Each of them has a special kind of game plan for themselves. Sporting's game somehow worked well in the rematch and it led them to even eliminate Arsenal which were the biggest favourite team for the Europa League title. But Juventus' style can be really boring and maybe problematic at the same time. If Juventus outweigh them they can get past them narrowly on aggregate.
Arsenal's team was more stable and stronger than Juventus's. However, they lost against Sporting's match tactics. I wouldn't say that Sporting performed too well against Arsenal. Arsenal performed well in both matches but failed to qualify for the next round. There is no reason to think that Juventus will easily win against Sporting. The first leg is Juventus' home match. If Juventus don't win at home, I don't think they will qualify for the semi-finals. Juventus must win the first leg.
Arsenal were just unlucky in the match against Sporting and Mikel Arteta's squad doesn't seem too disappointed with the result of the match because they still have a definite target of winning the domestic league title this season. And maybe it's true that as you say juventus is not going to win easily against Sporting because I think Sporting alone can hold back so many chances from Arsenal and they were able to get rid of Arsenal in the previous round. But victory in the first leg will be a serious bet for Juventus to surpass Sporting on aggregate points later.

Arsenal had slightly worse luck. At the same time, I would say Sporting had a great performance. The team played well. Despite Arsenal being a strong opponent, Sporting's players were very confident in this match. They attacked a lot. Sporting players performed better than Arsenal. And they deserve to win this match. However, Arsenal is not worried about the Europa League title. They want to secure the Premier League title. And they are able to continue their good performance in the Premier League.
