For as long as the difference between Arsenal and City is only a few points, there won't be any easy games for Arsenal. I don't expect Manchester City to give a way a lot of points for the rest of the season and therefore Arsenal has no choice but to offer top performances every single game. Right, right now Arteta's priority is more focused on the Premier League. like it or not, Arsenal must remain consistent and get full points in every game. fortunately, Arsenal succeeded in overthrowing Fulham with a landslide score. which in the end, Arsenal was able to widen the distance from City by a difference of 5 points. the good news, G.Jesus has recovered from his injury and he has been played again by Arteta even though he is still the second line-up player. at least, Arsenal have many options for the front line.
So, Arteta can share his focus when his team hosts Sporting in the second leg later. I'm sure Arsenal will perform optimally when they host Sporting in the second leg later. after all, the Gunners were playing as the home team. on paper, the Gunners have a high probability of winning the fight versus Sporting Lisbon.

It is good though that they still have those two competitions because it keeps you focused. If the breaks are too long between games that might not even be helpful to stay at their maximum level.
In my opinion, the two teams that have the greatest chance of winning the Europa League are Juventus and Sevilla. I would put them even above United, simply because neither of those teams will achieve a CL qualifying place in Serie A/LaLiga, so they have to win the UEL if they are to play in the CL next season. Their motivation to win this tournament is much higher than for example United.
Even though Juventus and Sevilla are unlikely to qualify for the Champions League in their respective leagues next season, they must demonstrate in the Europa League that they can compete for the league title this season. I'm sticking with Arsenal as the favorite for now. By far the most stable team of all remaining teams in this league. Yes, they had a hard time against Sporting, but they could have won that match. And Juventus is certainly not there yet either, they achieved a 1-0 victory in the home game at Rennes, but that is of course not convincing at all. Juventus could well be eliminated I think. And then we have United. they have of course taken a big step towards the quarter-finals with the 4-1 victory, I don't see Real Betis winning 3 or 4-0 against United at home. And then let's see what the draw will bring us next week.

Yes that is what they have clearly demonstrated in today's away game as well. Manchester City is creating pressure for them, but they are playing their game as if there was no pressure for them. Odegaard also has come a long way and knows how to take control over the game and then even score himself. He wasn't a scorer for quite some time, but that has changed and now he has a high number of assists and even scored 10 times this season so far.
If they continue like this then we are going to see a very successful Arsenal this season and it is actually not conceivable how Arsenal can be beaten at home by Sporting Lissabon. They are just too stable at the moment.

To be honest I'm waiting for the day to see these two teams facing each other in the current situation both teams because the last time they had a match Manchester United was not on good days with Ten Hag like they are today, while Arteta and his players were performing well and they won the game with 3-2 result however it was a hard game for both teams but if they face each other again in Europa League I can say Mansyer United can make trouble for Arsenal.
