Arteta made quite a few changes to their line-up whether that was the reason why they could only draw against Sporting and if Sporting's players didn't make any mistakes Arsenal would have lost this first leg, but in the second leg Arsenal had quite the advantage because they were playing at home and possibly will some players who did not play in the first leg will play.
I suspect the rotation or changes made by Arteta to maintain their position in the English premier league, because to be a champion in the league is also still their target.
Arsenal's second leg will still have a bigger chance than Sporting to win.

Defeat is a natural part of any game, and the important thing is take the lesson from it and come back stronger in the next match. And that's exactly what Manchester United did. They bounced back in style. A great display especially in the second half after an unconvincing first half and some poor play from David de Gea and Wout Weghorst. There were still mistakes, such as wrong passes and poor communication among the players. Manchester United took a three-goal advantage to Spain, which feels good. Yes, It's safe to say they will qualify for the quarter-finals, but the real smile will come when all the players and the manager if lift the Europa League trophy.

It seems like the punishment by ten hag was really working to rebuild the mentality from MU again. I did remember that if ten hag will be relegated the main squad players once the squads will be playing so badly. Ten hag didn't wanna see that MU get another bad result like the match against liverpool. The punishment that already made by ten hag is building the mentality again and that was also making players work even harder. 4-1 against real betis is a very good score at this moment. Finally, weghorst was contributing 1 goal to make the gap even bigger against betis.
MU has a very good advantage over betis to face it in the second leg. Betis is far easy compared to when MU was facing barcelona in the knock out stage.

Arsenal has been getting draw against sporting. The next match is also giving more advantage to the arsenal. It seems like all of EPL clubs will be qualified for next round.

Most of big clubs like Manchester United, AS Roma, Sevilla and Leverkusen got good results from a first leg. Only Arsenal did not get good advantage from the first leg but a 2 -2 draw a Sporting's stadium is not too bad.

Two Real from La Liga (Real Betis and Real Sociedad) had bad results and they mostly will have to leave Europa League after this round. Roma again shows that they can play well in Cup format with Mourinho. In the match, Sociedad goalkeeper made some stupid moments and luckily for him, Roma did not score goals in those two mistakes. Anyway a late goal at 87th minute helps Roma mostly secure their ticket to a next round.

It was a really unlucky day for the Turkish team, Fenerbahce. I mean they were really incredible against Sevilla. They had so many goal opportunities to benefit from but they just wasted all of them very generously.

I can comfortably say that Sevilla didn't deserve to get a win by this much of a comfortable score. They just punished their opponent for wasting their opportunities.
