The game between Manchester United and Real Betis is about to end. Man. U 4 - Real Betis 1.
I think it's a stunning outcome for Manchester United. They have demonstrated that they have put their recent heartbreak against Liverpool behind them by defeating Real Betis. It's certainly admirable to congratulate them on their 4-1 victory. The second leg between the two clubs will take place at Real Betis' stadium by this time the following week. I anticipate Manchester United to play as well as they did today against Real Betis at home.

I am not so impressed with Arsenal's performance tonight. I wasn’t expecting a draw, the players were a little sloppy today, probably they were underestimating their opponents which wasn't a good idea at all. Arsenal made too many mistakes when they tried to build up from the back. The return leg at the Emirates stadium will be the decider for this two.

Wow now Manchester United is going serious about it. At half time I thought Betis might be able to get away with a loss, but not a big one. One goal in difference and not getting destroyed like this. But Manchester United is a completely different teams in terms of their mental state compared to the game against Liverpool.

Roma was quite expected. I thought they are going to win it with a clean sheet but it turned out to be tougher in the end. Real Sociedad controlled most of the game but Roma used 2 out of their 3 big chances and that was what set them apart this game day.

The game between Juventus Turin and Freiburg is insanely one-sided. Sometimes the statistics are so misleading that it doesn't even make sense anymore... Freiburg has more ball possession, but Juventus Turin has 19-1 shots! How is that even possible?

Sporting and Arsenal is an ok result for Arsenal as I understand how Sporting was fighting in their home game, but I don't think they can defend against Arsenal in the Emirates Stadium.

It was very bad for Fenerbahçe when Sevilla scored the second goal. The chance of advancing tour is greatly reduced. Sampaoli's substitution choices were very accurate. Players who entered the game later scored both goals. Both Joan Jordan and Lamela delivered what was expected of them. Sevilla were favorites in this matchup, this score is a natural consequence of that. Fenerbahçe fans had a dream, but now it's up to miracles.

The last time I placed some bets was over the weekend and likely the one I gave Liverpool winning against Manchester united came through but all the other tickets were destroyed due to one or two clubs losing, this has been a very tough time in the various leagues and most of the bigger clubs are losing their current positions.

-But tonight's game did not still end with Manchester united playing a draw game against real bentis, and this could be a pointer to a more drawbacks for Manchester united.

Asernal scoring first everyone will be thinking they where going to win the game with a big goal difference but that didn't happen. I guess Asernal just want to focus on  the premier League but let's watch out for the second leg, one can never tell went it comes to football, anything can happen. But every one will be expecting Arsenal to win the second leg since they will be playing from home. But they should have tried to win today game against sporting CP

Agree. People should expect Arsenal to win easily against Sporting because Arsenal performs very well in EPL. But it is Europa League, it is an international league. The leader of the local league can fail to reach the final round in this competition, just look at how Barcelona was eliminated.    Also, it is a home match for Sporting, they have more motivation to play there. However, getting a draw at Sporting home isn't so bad result for Arsenal. At least they were not defeated, so Arsenal will be easier to do an effort to qualify for the next round. Arsenal only needs to win with 1 goal only at home, but they must ensure that Sporting players can't make a single goal.

Regarding Man United, they are leading with 3 goals gap (current score 4-1). I think Man United is safe to qualify for the next round. They performed very well in this competition, I assume they will play in the final round.  

Football is difficult, even for those who are paid to play, and Arsenal's draw with Sporting CP was not worth it because it was obvious that the Gunners had outplayed them, and all clubs competing in a different league is not an easy task. Meanwhile, Manchester United has already defeated Real Betis 3:1, proving that they are not joking around with anyone right now and that every game they play results in a victory.

I think they would be a lot more "motivated" that's true, but just because they are motivated doesn't mean that they will win it neither, there is a good chance they could still lose even if they want to win.

The other teams are not that bad neither, like how do you think Juventus could beat United or Arsenal? They are pretty good teams as well and one of them is leading the premier league table right now, that's not an easy team to beat and even though Juventus could be motivated to win, they may just be not good enough to win which is why I highly doubt that this could work well for them. I hope that we could see a good competition, and not easy win, but I think they will lose.

Sporting CP isn't very hard opponent for Arsenal but it is not possible to win every single game for a team. Arsenal is favorite and they will play in their home ground. I hope Arsenal will be able to win against Sporting CP. Between the match of Manchester United and Real Betis, Manchester United is in good condition and they are also favorite by considering recent performances.

It's a fair result for Arsenal playing away and secured a 2-2 draw with Sporting Lisbon who are 4th placed in the Portuguese league thus are equally a good side, it was indeed a very competitive match with sides missed scoring chances, Arsenal will likely finish up the job in the reverse fixture at Emirate, though their major priority is winning the EPL trophy, however pushing for Europa league Cup isn't also a bad idea provided that Arteta rotate his players to avoid fatigue and prevent injuries to his key players.

I can say that Arsenal's draw is a disappointing result. They are still huge favorites to progress to the next round, but it means they have to win at home against the Portuguese team. Meanwhile, Man United is on a safe 3-1 lead, but if this stays that way, it is certainly not over for Real Betis, who can then try to win by 2 goals at home. If United could score another goal, it would make a world of difference and United can travel to Spain with a sense of relief. Juventus has a thin 1-0 on the scoreboard, but at least they are ahead.

That was a heated game and Sporting were able to put gunners to a draw trap. I don't know if it is a good result or not since the away game will be played in Emirates Stadium and Arsenal will be more aggressive. Sporting have a rare chance to advance if they keep performing that way and push to penalties or a late goal.

That was a quite surprising result to see. Union Berlin was trying to get a draw 3 times

A good win for Roma and Leverkusen. They could play without much stress in the second leg.
Di Maria scored a goal again in Europa La and Juve is leading with 1 goal. ManU scored another goal and the result is 2-1 vs Betis.

I saw Arsenal not performing at full strength. No Ødegaard, no Jesus (he would become very important in Europe) no Trossard. Nelson started and he has been an influential substitute in playing so far. The refs are terrible, they go down at every opportunity and to be fair they are as good at what they do (cheat) as every other team outside of England is. Arsenal squad is not experienced enough, Arsenal have to settle for a 2-2 draw of course Not the best result but I'm sure Arsenal will win in the Emirates with a better starting lineup.

For the time being the result is a 1-1 draw.
It took less than 10 minutes for Marcus Rashford to put Manchester United ahead before Ayoze Perez replied to make it 1-1.
In the first half Manchester United dominated the statistics and there was something noticeably different about Manchester United's play. That seems to be Erik ten Hag's good strategy.

The second half of the match is now underway. Let's watch it to make it more exciting.

The bet this time doesn't seem to go well for me because indeed I did 3 bets that I did all fail.
I bet on this match and only Leverkusen made me quite happy but for the others I completely failed the prediction.
My Rome and Sociedad game was a draw and it was at Arsenal and Union Berlin but it was completely reversed.

Great goal it was indeed, clearly this lad was in the shadows of Cristiano Ronaldo and now that he left these players have been forced to step up their game and they have done so in style.

And for Rashford why does Manchester United still need a striker when they can use Rash as a false striker, our current loaned guy is failing to deliver even the most easy of chances and needs to go.

You were spot on, Betis came through with a wonderful goal, though I thought VAR would have ruled it out for a handball but it stood and scores are tied 1all..hope United come in strong for the second half.

Prioritising the premier league might be something but, I don't think they drew this game because of that.  Arteta felt good about the squad he presented to do the job but, Sporting CP, aware of Arsenal's exploit took the game to them and they weren't going to let there home fans down.

The game at the moment is Manchester United 1:1 Real Betis. Its been an almost all Manchester United dominance game. I wonder why Real Betis isn't playing like the that frustrated Real Madrid over the weekend. They certainly don't seem so dangerous in this game and Manchester United might as well, end up winning the day. Good enough they managed to score there best chance but, they are yet to sow that they can contain the pressure Manchester United has mounted on the team thus far.

Sporting 2 - 2 Arsenal

as expected, this draw was something predictable given that arsenal would not put all their good attackers in this game because they have as priority to win the premier league, and it seems that I was really right about that, and sporting's performance was not a surprise either for me, with this it is clear that everything will depend on whether Arsenal will risk playing with all their best players to win or they will keep these same players and test their luck, we will see in the second leg

Union Berlin 3 - 3 Union

 

I even thought that despite the bad performance of union berlin, they would manage to win this game but it seems they were inconsistent again, they conceded 3 goals and were very close to leaving this game with a defeat, and it's strange, because until a short time ago they were leaders of the budesliga

Leverkusen 2 - 0 Ferencvaros

this was an expected result, Leverkusen is a much better team than Ferencvaros

Roma 2 - 0 Real sociedad

this was also an expected result, as i said in the last post, real society came into this game with every possible disadvantage, history is not on their side when they play against italian teams, but congratulations to mourinho and roma, he is doing a very good job since arriving in rome, he soon made substitutions when he saw that the team had conditions to win, saving his best strikers has been his priority because his objective is to have a place in the champions league

Another disappointing game for Juventus this evening, they are clearly a better team but they can't score a single goal.
