It will be very interesting for 2 teams that are developing significantly Barcelona and Man United to face each other on the gridiron next week. I don't think so. even though Dembele and Busquet will be absent for the match, Xavi still has other player options that he can rely on in the match. IMO, most likely Xavi will change his strategy and formation. the absence of Busquets is not really a problem, the fact is that Barcelona can still rely on Fanck Kessie, paired with De Jong, to be the pivot. the reason is, currently De Jong's role is very vital for the team as a whole. Xavi could have put Lewandowski as a lone striker, or use the same formation as a 4-3-3. Rotating Gavi to become a shadow striker, Pedri remains a midfielder. but certainly, I'm pretty sure De Jong and Kassie will play a pivotal role.

Meanwhile, United are in an unenviable position. Eriksen, Mctominay, is an important central player in United's midfield.
