Not a surprise for me, I think Arteta did not take the game seriously and he decided to play with his secondary team because he knows that their position in the group stage is safe enough with 12 points. In other words Arteta decided to rest some of his main players in the bench. I dont think Arteta do not take Europa League seriously but he decide to play effectively based on their situation and position in the group stage. It is normal to see something like this, where a team think that the position is safe enough then the coach decide to give chance for other players.

Last night's game really surprised us, Ruud Van Nistelrooy's men played aggressively from the first minute.
as I posted earlier that PSV will attack from the early minutes. however, to his surprise the Gunners were completely helpless last night.
in the first half, PSV really did not benefit with two goals that the referee ruled out and var. it seems to make PSV players quite frustrated, especially Xavi Simons. but in the end, they were able to find the net for the Gunners in the second half. and at the same time have the opportunity to take first place, if in the next match Arsenal slips again.

on the other hand, Arsenal are completely helpless with some of their core players on the bench. Arteta is surprised, because this is not what Arteta expected.

From beginning to end, I was smiling while watching United play. Cristiano Ronaldo played far better than the others, even though it was against Sheriff. It is such a pleasure to watch him play. Play time should be given to him more often. He'll surely impress everyone, I'm sure. Nevertheless, Ten Hag is doing a great job in starting Ronaldo and benching him when necessary. It is easy for him to know when to give him 90 minutes or when to substitute him off.

There were 0 shots on goal for Sheriff as Manchester United dominated over them. There is no reason why Manchester United should be in the Europa League, they deserve more. However, I wish you the best of luck for the upcoming season.

I think Arsenal coach believes that the match was not really important that's why he benched most of his players and he didn't expect psv to perform well even with the players he used, most people underestimated psv and not the coach alone, but psv showed that they are not a team to be underestimated. Most people place a bet to favor Arsenal to win the match which at the end Arsenal disappointed most people, I was also in support of Arsenal to win, I know the match is not really important to Arsenal but I was expecting them to win with atleast 1 goal and not to lose, I just think Arsenal is not a club to trust, they are always full of surprises.

I am not at all surprised by Arsenal's performance in this match. Arsenal are already at the top of the table after winning their first four matches. And so this match against PSV was not important for Arsenal. And so we saw Arsenal's slow gameplay from the beginning of the match. But perhaps the Arsenal coach wanted the match to be a draw. But Arsenal conceded two goals due to weak defenders. Arsenal continued to try to score in the second half. But could not score any goals. Despite the defeat in this match, Arsenal team is 2 points ahead of PSV.
