There are four teams left in the Europa League. Roma, leverkusen; Marseille, Atalanta. And I honestly do not see any problem for Leverkusen to actually not be able to win the Europa League competition this season. They have played throughout the whole season, if they play like that in the Europa League as well, I do not see why it would be any problem for them to win the Europa League. Roma is performing well I agree. But the performance from Leverkusen has been really incredible and almost unmatched. If anyone has to beat Leverkusen this season, they will have to come up with an incredible plan and also perform really incredibly in the field as well. And I just do not see that happening with all the teams that are left in the Europa League.

Of course, Leverkusen is currently experiencing an increase in performance, so they have become a strong team that is almost unrivaled. with matches that are always good and final results that are quite satisfactory for them bring benefits to them. Also, I think Leverkusen hasn't had any problems in its recent matches, I think Leverkusen can continue to perform well in the future so they can make new history.

with their next match, perhaps the one that will make things quite difficult for them is Roma, because Roma is not an easy team, I think of course Roma will definitely try to show their best to be able to beat Leverkusen. but if Leverkusen wins the first leg, maybe they will be more confident in the next match.

It will be very interesting if Roma pull off an upset against Bayer Leverkusen in the semi-finals, as Liverpool were unexpectedly knocked out of the quarter-finals despite being a title-winning team. If Roma pull off an upset, two of the Europa League's favorites will be out of the tournament long before the end of the season, leaving teams who are not considered favourites, relatively speaking, a chance to win the title.
Leverkusen have very good form in this season and recently so they will less likely to have shocked defeats like Liverpool. In general I think Leverkusen and Roma are not too different in quality. Their chance to win for Leverkusen and Roma is like 60% and 40% and with this slim difference, Roma actually have chance to beat Leverkusen.

It's logic to say Leverkusen are stronger and have better chance but if Roma can show off best traditional character of Italian football, they can constrain Leverkusen attacking strength. Then from this success with defense system, they will see chances to beat Leverkusen.
We probably know that the Italian team's game is always good in terms of their defense, if As Roma plays from their strong defensive system like Atalanta did when facing Liverpool, Leverkusen might have difficulty scoring goals against As Roma if the defense is quite difficult but Xabi Alonso probably already knows about this and he seems to know how to face this Italian team, As Roma is not an opponent that Leverkusen can underestimate and Leverkusen are not the type to underestimate their opponents because they always play their best no matter who they are facing.

Victory is definitely desired by both teams, therefore the match between the two will definitely be interesting to watch because there are two coaches who in my opinion are quite good. In my opinion, they will compete with tactics and strategy, who will be better between Xabi Alonso and De Rossi, of course they are will put pressure on their team to play as hard as possible and get a win so they can advance to the UEL final and win the UEL title this season, I'm not sure who will win it but I will bet that both will score goals in this match.  Wink

The match between Leverkusen vs Roma will definitely be more interesting because these two teams are both favorites in the European league this season. Regardless of who makes it through to the final, of course we have to see their game in the two legs later. For me, seeing the good journey of both of them in the European League this season cannot be separated from the role of their coach who is able to encourage his players to perform better. It's just that Leverkusen has just managed to secure a title in the domestic league so they are motivated to perform better in order to aim for a second title.

Well, if Roma were runners up last season, even though they were considered weak in the group phase, their performance appeared to improve in the round of 16 and the quarter-finals. Roma is slowly being able to show its best strength under the direction of De Rossi, they are now quite focused on the European league and it seems that Roma wants to aim for a Champions League ticket by successfully becoming champion.
At the moment, the UEL this season is left with 4 teams set to battle it all out at the semi finals. The strongest team said to be Leverkusen will be facing the second toughest Roma and I must say it all seems like the UEFA board wants Leverkusen to go home with the trophy. Comparing the probability of the game outcome taking into consideration both teams performances so far, Leverkusen is the better side and they have the greater advantage over Roma. Yes Roma can be competitive and can make the game tough but Leverkusen's record won't let them stay down to be defeated. Really it'll be a game to look out for as in the first and second legs, both teams would put up their best to seeing if they can secure the 3points.

The last two teams aren't much of big strengths as they've had minor records so far in their European cup quests. If either of them wins, it'll be a walkover game for their final opponent because either Roma or Leverkusen would be a better side to them considering experiences gained and domestic league performances this season. Atalanta or Marseille aren't tough teams and if I'm to predict the qualified team to be, I'd go for Atalanta based on they are a little above the average performance of their normal performance. The semi finals won't be an easy battle as anything really can happen on the field of play.

Leverkusen's qualification to the semi finals of this season's UEL was also historic as they kept their unbeaten record still in play after drawing to West ham. This season they've been an undaunted team and they really have all it takes to finish the season with the unbeaten record intact and two trophies in their shelf. Their next UEL opponent is competitive but it's not really a big deal for them based on the fact that they have gained enough confidence and have even being in tougher encounters which they've at thesame time comfortably come out from victoriously. Roma themselves know that they won't be up for a joke game in the semi finals stage.

I acknowledge that in football anything can happen, but it all depends on the readiness of either clubs to make things happen. Drawing instance from the case of Liverpool to compare to Bayer Leverkusen is not making so much sense. Liverpool was chasing the English Premier League and as well as the Europa League, that was why they did not feature their best in the first leg against Atlanta. But Bayern Leverkusen in the other side has already backed the German Bundesliga, so they have no reason not to fixture their best legs in the match against Roma. I am not only expecting Bayern leverkusen to win the Europa League but I am also expecting them to complete their season unbeaten record.

This is one of the most interesting season and I must say, watching the English elite side been eliminated by some shaky Seria A team, that alone amazes me. These teams remaining are not some random teams but they become strong when they face each other. It's very promising to choose Bayer Leverkusen and Atalanta to meet in the Europa League final this season, why? Both teams have reached their estimated number of targets and have sacrifice alot to reach this phase, no going back until they achieved what they've on radar.

In addition to Aston Villa who are still in the Conference League this season, of course all the teams from Premier League have been eliminated in all European competitions this season, Arsenal, Manchester City and also Liverpool are the strongest teams in the Premier League but unfortunately these teams actually have to be eliminated early this season, the most unlucky among all the Premier League teams is of course Liverpool in my opinion,  From the beginning of the season, Liverpool has been a strong candidate to win the Europa League and even before being eliminated by Atlanta, actually Liverpool had a pretty good performance both in the league and Europa League, but it was surprising if Liverpool, who were in top form at that time, had to lose with a fairly embarrassing score in the first leg and made them eliminated from the Europa League in the second leg.

At the moment of course Atlanta is a worthy replacement candidate to accompany Leverkusen in the Europa League, in the semi-finals this season I am very sure if Atlanta and Leverkusen will be able to beat their opponents, but for the final round of course it is very difficult to predict which team will be the champion, although indeed Leverkusen is a strong candidate for the championship but still Atlanta will probably surprise us all in the final round later.

But if there is a match between Roma and Bayer Leverkusen then my bet will be in favor of Bayer Leverkusen.

I actually hope Roma will meet Leverkusen in the final round. but in reality, they have to beat each other in the semi-finals.
Roma's performance is quite good. they eliminated Milan in the quarter-finals. Leverkusen has to consider the strength of the Roma team, it is not simple.
I'm not so sure, but Roma will probably qualify for the final round. I'm still quite doubtful about betting on this match. but in the first leg, maybe you can bet on Roma.

I see no difference between EPL teams that competed in UCL and UEL since they are all failed to get back with trophies on their hand. They were delivering unexpected results that has surprised many people, such as Liverpool being destroyed by Atalanta with a huge score. Man, i never imagine this to happen. This indicates that the English team is not yet fully prepared since they are always doing bottle jobs in european competitions. People call them strong teams, but they are both strong and unstable. EPL team must be rebuilding their mentality.

Liverpool has made a good impression on many people by keep running without any problem but it takes a match for liverpool to failed in europa league. Liverpool has made them all believe that they will win the competition this season, which is not the reality that happens now. Liverpool must return to the EPL after losing 3–0 against Atalanta in the first leg, yet liverpool won the second leg but it's only 1 goal from penalty.

This shows that the quality of the English team has not yet improved compared to the previous season even city was losing against real madrid in the dramatic penalty. Liverpool, was unable to win this competition after reaching the quarterfinals and it's very bad result for klopp caused by he is also missing EPL trophy too. It's time for club to overhaul its squad
It looks like the Italian team will win this competition soon caused by it has sent two candidates to go tot he quarter final. Yet again, Leverkusen, who remains unbeatable, must have faced a strong team from the Italian league. I would rather see Roma win the competition than Leverkusen.
Roma may be able to hand Bayern Leverkusen its first loss.

I dont want to curse them or something like that, but the luck on Bayern Leverkusen side this year is mighty. DO yous ee how many games they win or draw in extra time? or even in the last ten minutes of the game?. Is incredible last week this happen again against Stugart, where they were losing 2-1 and reach the draw in the 90+6.

In this competition we see them doing this against Qarabag and the last time also against West Ham.
Because things like that are what make some people continue to be curious about how Leverkusen will be when they face Roma in the first leg of the Europa League in the semifinals. Because Roma is also not a bad team this season after being handled by a new coach, the level of ferocity in the Roma vs Leverkusen match in the semifinals this time could happen. And this will also make the audience enjoy the match with enough enthusiasm until the end.

Bayer Leverkusen bundesliga has performed well so this type of mistake is unlikely for this team but if Roma perform very well then it will be difficult for Bayer Leverkusen to go to the next round. But if there is a match between Roma and Bayer Leverkusen then my bet will be in favor of Bayer Leverkusen.

Well, we agree that Leverkusen is the team that has the greatest chance of winning the Europa League trophy. However, the opposing team will not let them be slaughtered easily, that's why maybe De Rossi will prepare something related to strategy, tactics and system when playing the match against Leverkusen.
They are very strong in this season and it seems this season belongs to Leverkusen to make history. They need to fight for it with last remaining matches but the finish line is not too far.

Quote
Moreover, the first leg match was held at home to AS Roma. Plus, both teams have attractive odds based on the betting exchange for these two teams. For now, I speculate that AS Roma has a chance of overthrowing Leverkusen in the first leg.
With new rules from UEFA, there is no advantage from home-away goals so advantage of a home stadium is smaller than in the past. Roma will try to have a win at home and try to repeat what they did last season, win at home, draw at Leverskusen's stadium and go to another Europa League final match.

Quote
As for Marseille and Atalanta, I think Marseille will be able to do a good job when they play against Atalanta in the semifinals. However, to be sure, we'll just have to wait until the time for the semifinal match of this competition is held.
Atalanta after beating Liverpool and creating one of biggest shocks in Europa League this season, will be considered as stronger than Marseille. However they will need to learn from their surprising win against Liverpool, and consider it as a warning to avoid another shock when facing Marseille. Marseille can be considered as weaker than Atalanta but they have ability to create surprise in two semi finals.

Leverkusen will also focus more on the European League at this time. Because in the Bundesliga they have been confirmed as champions for this season. So Leverkusen will no longer worry about defeat in the Bundesliga. And will be more focused on beating Roma in the Europa League semi-finals. But Roma they still divide their focus on two competitions. Because in Serie A it turns out that AS Roma could even potentially be moved from 5th place and that is a big problem. So De Rossi will think harder for the remainder of this season. Because Roma definitely wants to win the match in the Europa League but also definitely wants to remain in a good ranking in Serie A.

Well, the role of the two coaches of these teams is very big. Xabi Alonso even received a lot of appreciation after successfully making Leverkusen win the title in the Bundesliga. And now Leverkusen is aiming for the European league title.

Xabi Alonso is doing fascinating things with Leverkusen this season. He put an end to Bayern Munich's huge championship streak in the Bundesliga and brought the first ever Bundesliga title to Leverkusen.  Smiley

This performance deserves to win all competitions available. The Bundesliga, most probably DFB Pokal and the Europa League... Roma and Atalanta are toughest opponents left for Leverkusen imho. Even if Leverkusen face both of them I think it shouldn't matter. At least for a this strong team I mean. The players are all focused on winning everything they can. I believe in Leverkusen 100% to do this. I don't think they will end up like Liverpool.

According to my understanding, no matter how strong a team is, and how far they go to maintain its consistency. In the end, defeat cannot be avoided regardless of the opposing team. yeah, we know and are very aware of how Leverkusen has performed this season. In fact, at the start of this thread, Leverkusen was the only team I favored. But, as the competition progresses and so do the opposing teams. In fact, I don't dare speculate too far, especially before I get a lot of the information I need.

Well, we agree that Leverkusen is the team that has the greatest chance of winning the Europa League trophy. Bayer Leverkusen is a great team that is doing well every where, in Bundesliga they are considered as the best team in the league no doubt about that and in the Europa League they are seeing as one of the best team that is fit of winning the league.  I really want Bayer Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga and europa league because they deserves it . If Roma and Bayer Leverkusen should meet in the finals I don't think Roma will be able to defeat Bayer Leverkusen because even in the Italian league Roma is not even in the top four best team for thus season but you can see that of Bayer Leverkusen doing well in Bundesliga,  even in europa league Bayer Leverkusen has performed better in their games.

It seems you have not been following Roma recently. Roma have been in a pretty good form and win games where people thought they would lose. You see how they won AC Milan home and away even though they got a red car early on in the first half. Why Roma are at that position in the league is because they started the season in bad form. When Mourinho was their coach they performed badly earlier on and got to around 9th on the table, now they're 5th and have a chance to qualify for the UCL next season, which shows how better they have become.

Roma may not be the favourites of the tie but they have a very big chance of winning that tie. Bayer Leverkusen is a good team, obviously the better team, but they can lose even though they haven't lost this season.

If you look at these two teams by comparing their performance in the domestic league I don't think it's fair because we don't know how tough the competition is in the league, it will definitely have a difference in the tension of the competition. I agree that Bayern Leverkusen have been amazing this season both in the domestic league and in other leagues, likewise Roma haven't really given their best performance in the league, but overall I think they are pretty evenly matched and both have their own style of play so maybe they won't be too aggressive and pay attention to each other's matches first.

It can't be like that, but maybe what can be different is the mentality will definitely be affected if Roma have a losing streak.
I would say that while it is not possible to calculate the league difficulty difference, we could say that a team that has been unbeaten for 40+ games and won the league above Bayern Munich is still by far better than a team that failed to beat out Bologna in the serie A to be in the top four.

If we had like Inter winning the title but Roma being second or something like that then we could maybe argue, then we would say if Inter is better or Bayern (even in that case Bayern is better for me) but we are talking about fifth of Serie A versus the team that did not lose for 40+ games in a row now, including their domestic cup, their league and europa all together. So they could end up with three titles in a single season and already guaranteed one, the other seems quite easy and all they have left is this one.

I Notice the good performance from them in the beginning of this season, that make me to believed that Bayer Leverkusen have a mission to lift this season trophy, and they have manifest it to be among the teams people are expecting to win this trophy because their coach is still ready to improve his players to reach the final game to make it happen.

They have beaten many teams to get to this position, and they will not give up In this stage base on some strong teams they are going to meet in their remaining games, which they need to win those games to clear the doubt from people minds.

I don't think they will allow anything to distract them again because they need to break this record to lift the trophy to promote their coach career because he has done a great work to ensure Bayer Leverkusen remain in a good position till the end of the tournament.

Thomas Tuchel is not competent for the job and he has to exits the Allianz Arena at the end of the season. Bayern Munich have always find themselves struggling to win game, I know it's not easy for them in the current ongoing season, they've found themselves unfit to settle for the Bundesliga title this season. Bayer Leverkusen doesn't use anything call luck, they've been determined from the very start and they've evolved into making significant winnings. It's been one of the best season for Leverkusen and also their coach, Xabi Alonso who have been tremendously doing the needful.
The fate of Bayern this season is more to do with the remarkable campaign of Leverkusen, It's not fair to say Tuchel is not competent for the job, because no guarantee for any other manager would be able to keep up with what Leverkusen have been doing. Tuchel may be unpopular among the fans because Bayern play less attractive football than how Bayern used to play, and Bayern experienced unexpected lost to teams that supposed to beat easily.

Leverkusen's brilliant performance have put big pressure on Bayern, because Bayern's slow start of the season makes them left behind with significant gap. Bayern have themself to blame for that situation, and Tuchel surely took the biggest responsible for it.
