I think maybe Atalanta is better when compared to Sparta Prague but still they are not better than Liverpool. After knowing Liverpool's very strong performance when against Sparta Prague, Atalanta they definitely started to prepare a defensive strategy so that Liverpool could not attack Atalanta brutally like they did to Sparta. Prague, but playing a defensive strategy alone is not enough if Atalanta does not have the strength to attack and provide fierce resistance to the Liverpool players to be able to break through the Liverpool defense.

Indeed, this is quite a tough obstacle that Atalanta has to overcome in the quarter-finals because their opponent is a big Premier League club and their current condition is very good so Atalanta's chances of winning are very unlikely because Liverpool will not let their opponent get away easily and Liverpool wants to present very fierce competition in all the competitions it plays.

Yes, Liverpool's current performance in the Premier League is almost on par with Manchester City, therefore many people are Liverpool favorite for in the European League. Just as they are Manchester City favorite for  in the Champions League because both of them have a strong performance in this big competition to be able to win the title and if both of them win titles in these two big competitions. The Premier League is a very strong club this season and also makes the name of the English league proud.

Atalanta are one of most attacking teams in Serie A recent years and their matches with Liverpool will be very interesting. I think both teams will score many goals in two quarter final matches as they are always obsessed with attacking.

Atalanta can not compare with Liverpool in quality as we can clearly see big difference between a team that is fighting for Premier League title and a team that is fighting for a position in top four of Serie A. Difference is big but in only two matches, Atalanta is a dangerous opponent for Liverpool.

It's clearly that Liverpool are stronger and have ability to beat Atalanta but they must play two quarter final matches with highest carefulness. Else Atalanta will force Liverpool to pay a high cost.

As Atalanta have qualified for the quarter finals of the Europa League, their performance is not so poor. Atalanta performed relatively well which allowed them to play against Liverpool in the quarter finals. Considering the current performance in the match between Atalanta and Liverpool, Liverpool must be put ahead. Liverpool will definitely be ahead and if no accident happens Liverpool will definitely win against this team and secure the semi-final. I am making this comment based on Liverpool's current performance. As they have been performing consistently in the Europa League and English Premier League, it will not be difficult for Liverpool to overcome the hurdle of the quarter finals.

I agree that Atalanta has a good attacking, they scored many goals in the group phase of UEL and in Serie A. But the problem is Atalanta couldn't maintain their performance, they sometimes become difficult to score goals. In the previous (round of 16), Atalanta looked hard to score goals both in Leg 1 and Leg 2. So, we can't assume that Atalanta can keep their productivity in scoring goals.

But Liverpool always keep their consistency in scoring many goals. In the previous round, Liverpool could score 11 goals (5 goals in Leg 1, 6 goals in Leg 2). I think it indicated that Liverpool attackers can maintain their good performance. All the players seem to have a high motivation to reach the final and win the trophy as well.

By the way, Liverpool seems to be the favorite. Although both Liverpool and Atalanta are productive teams (scoring many goals), but Liverpool looks to maintain the good performance. Meanwhile Atalanta seems difficult to maintain their productivity in scoring goals when they are playing against a strong team like Liverpool. Liverpool defense looks strong as well, so Atalanta won't be easy to score goals.

It is true that Roma has started to develop for the better under De Rossi control, but beating Milan in the quarter-finals is not an easy job. In Serie A, Milan performance is slightly better, and to be honest, Milan is more consistent this season than Roma, although the strengths of the two teams are not that different. In reality, Milan has a better chance of advancing to the semi-finals, but it could be that the prediction is wrong and Roma has managed to overcome this tough challenge. If anyone wants to bet, then the match between Milan versus Roma requires a lot of consideration.

Atlanta deserves some accolades as they have so far tried having gotten to this point of the Europa despite the whole fact they they haven't been in their best form or been the best team either, they are still in the Europa and I think their Europa performance can be seen as been much more better than their performance in their domestic league, invariably they are prioritizing the Europa much more.

Liverpool will actually not see them to be an issue as they actually don't appear like one to them in the fact that Liverpool is in a much more better form than Atlanta in the Europa , a d so meet with them can only means that may be the end of Atlanta's journey through the Europa but with Liverpool it's still some miles ahead because after Atlanta comes other teams they will have to tackle before they will be able to lift the trophy by the end of the Europa league competition this season. Atlanta considerable can now focus on their domestic League after this.

They will be hopeful in the fact that they may be able to get something out of their domestic League, probably get to be able to qualify again for the Europa by next season and if they are much more improved by then, they will be able to see if they can. Make something really good out of the Europa next season and nit just their domestic League alone. Theres still much room for Atlanta but that will have to be by next season.

Liverpool seems favorable become the Europe League winner not only the impressive performance on 16 round after eliminating Sparta Prague aggregate over 11-2 but also the pot format drawing after facing Atalanta will waiting by Benfica or Marseille.

Difference with other pot drawing schedule exactly for Bayern Leverkusen if qualify to semifinal waiting for the winner between AS Roma or AC Milan are two teams with top performance in domestic league or Europe League knock out round.

I respect Atalanta's effort until reaching this round. However I'm afraid it looks like this is the end for them.    Liverpool are like a huge favourite to win the Europa League title and the performance they have shown so far is just top level. I must admit that Sparta Prague weren't a big challenge for them but their general look has still been really impressive.  

I don't believe Atalanta are the team that can eliminate them as long as Klopp doesn't make a big mistake in player strategies. I don't think such thing would happen either as Klopp wants to achieve whatever he can before leaving.

If we talk about the desire to get the treble winner title, it seems like it will be very difficult, even though in the UEL, Liverpool was able to win the title, but in other competitions Liverpool will fail and in the PL competition it will definitely be very difficult to compete with Manchester City.
Actually, the treble winner title is not something that is prioritized, but the UEL title will be prioritized and this is what Klopp will achieve to give a special gift to Liverpool.

Atalanta in its own domestic league is still quite overwhelmed in getting its best position at the moment, so I don't think that Atalanta will be able to trouble Liverpool in the Europa League this season because Liverpool is a very strong team in the Premier League and has also shown its strength in the Europa League this season. This means that Atalanta may be just an ordinary opponent for Liverpool in the Europa League quarter-final match.

The quarterfinal match between Roma and Ac Milan is like a match in Serie A, the two teams have so far met countless times in the domestic league and of course they have known each other's strengths, but even so of course the match will be very different because both teams will have greater motivation to beat each other to get 1 ticket to the semifinals of the Europa League,  Currently Ac Milan is a consistent team in the league and that is what makes them able to occupy the runner up position in the current Serie A standings, besides that a more balanced squad depth is certainly the reason if Milan this season is strong enough in the league.

You are right, even though we have often seen them when they meet in Serie A, in the European League the match atmosphere will be a little different, so that will make the match dance in my opinion. As far i know Liverpool and Leverkusen won't met at the semifinal matches this because drawing scheme for quarterfinal stages makes them won't met early before the final match and if Liverpool can able to eliminate Atalanta and advances to the semifinal matches then Liverpool will facing the opponent between the winner of match Benfica vs Marseille even so with Leverkusen because if Leverkusen can able to overcomes West Ham then they will facing AC Milan or AS Roma in the semifinal matches so the ideal final between them is very possible to happend if Leverkusen and Liverpool can able to beat their opponents before reach to the final match

Klopp has been confirmed with Liverpool he was targetting the trophy from this competition and for Leverkusen Xabi Alonso has try to be realistic and not too focusing to gets the trophy but Leverkusen achievement makes people choose them as the favourite but don't underestimate other teams such as Milan and Roma because these teams potentially can gets the trophy too especially Roma because they are the finalist of last season even so with Benfica although their performance is not impressive but they also can be considers as dark horses team in Europa League so it's very intetesting to know which teams who can able to the final match and gets the trophy

These two teams meet very often in domestic competitions, therefore they should be able to know the weaknesses and strengths of each team. This will be a European League match with a Serie A feel, yes that's because they come from the same league. For now, AC Milan is more favored than AS Roma, yes, that's because in the Serie A standings, AC Milan is in a better place. AS Roma under the direction of De Rossi continues to show good progress at this time. This is good capital for them before facing AC Milan in the quarter-finals.

The chances of these two teams are closed to win the Scudetto title, so maybe in this European League they will maximize their best to be able to win at least 1 title this season. IMO, it's not just about Atalanta beating Liverpool, but more about the match after match that Liverpool will play.  Whether in the Premier League, or in this competition. before these two teams meet in the quarter-final match later. Liverpool will play three matches in domestic competition. The match against Brighton could be an obstacle for Liverpool. or, the match against Manchester United at Old Trafford ahead of the match against Atalanta later. what is certain is that the Domestic League competition is Jurgen Kloop's main priority over the Europa League. the reason is, if Jurgen Kloop's team squad slips. well, both Manchester City and Arsenal will widen the points gap from Liverpool. thus, it becomes a loss for Liverpool in its competition for the Domestic League trophy. so, Jurgen Kloop's main focus must be to secure the match they will play before hosting Atalanta in the Euopa League quarter-finals.

However, if we refer to betting market options for a while, Liverpool is far superior to Atalanta. which means, Liverpool has a very high probability of overthrowing this team from Serie A. moreover, this match will be held at Anfield.
By the way, this quarter-final match still has a time gap. so let's wait, while watching Liverpool and Atalanta play their matches in their domestic competition.

In the Europa League, there's been top contending teams from the start till the current stage of the contest. Even though days back, the playoffs stage was concluded and there we saw few teams earn advancement tickets. Well from the beginning of the tournament, we know that it'll only be the tough teams that'd survive. Also predicting the winner this season would be hard as there are a number of tough teams to pick from. The highest we can do is to just analyze these teams based on their overtime performances this season and bringing that in the picture.

 The highest probable winner would be Leverkusen, then Liverpool and any other team behind. In essence it's safe to say that if the draws are favourable, then Liverpool would battle with Leverkusen in the final game of the tournament. Between these two teams, Liverpool have been trying though, they're anticipating the EPL trophy, and as well the Carabao cup too where they weeks ago won Chelsea to secure the trophy.With this in their minds, the next goal will be to keep advancing in the UEL and staying intact in the EPL too.

 For Leverkusen, they've been impactful, currently the top spot in the Bundesliga too and so they've got same goal as Liverpool and therefore if in recent times they've remained unbeaten, then I doubt that there'd be a negative difference now when the tournament and season is almost rounded up. For me, I'll really love to see the heated game between Leverkusen and Liverpool in the UEL soon though and I have a feeling they'd be made to play against themselves.

Still not equal compared to the liverpool. Atalanta was also a giant killer in the serie a but the next fight totally different compared when atalanta was facing the big clubs in serie a. It's starting with the gameplay and pattern used by liverpool. I can't still imagine how atalanta can hold liverpool in the next stage.
Liverpool will be totally dominating the match soon. The quality of clubs are the main difference here since atlanta is not having good squad as liverpool. Liverpool's level is also far above atalanta at this moment. It's hard to me think about atalanta win the game against liverpool.


Atalanta can't or can. This totally depends on the strategy that will be used by this club. If atalanta will able consistently defensive against liverpool and it will have chance to win the game. Liverpool is surely going fully offensive against atalanta soon.
The fact is that if liverpool is one of strongest team in the ePL. it's also in the sme level as manchester city which was able winning multiple trophies last season. Im sure that you know how strong manchester city is now.

I totally agree with that. Atalanta have good and capable players but they haven't been much consistent in the Serie A for a quite long time period. As far as I can remember their start to the season wasn't this bad. They just couldn't keep up the good work.    Now they are trying to hold onto a European tournament spot at least but their job is quite difficult.

Can they put up a good fight against Liverpool? They can be better than Sparta Prague at least.    However I still don't see a big chance for Atalanta to get past Liverpool hindrance. Maybe Liverpool lost to Manchester United newly but this still doesn't change the fact that Liverpool are really strong this season.
